What do we do?
The Division of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics conducts teaching and research within the field of drug targeting and delivery. Our aim is to design drug products / medicines that deliver a drug to the right location at the right dose at the right time.

Pharmacy (Bachelor)
The bachelor’s programme in Pharmacy aims at imparting basic scientific knowledge and methods in the key areas of pharmacy as well as related subject areas. Students obtain a degree qualifying them to enter a profession in the pharmaceutical industry, at universities, other research institutions or laboratories.
By the end of the degree programme, students have to pass the additional exam in Latin.

Study programme
The bachelor’s programme in Pharmacy consists of an Introductory and Orientation Period (STEOP), including an introduction to pharmacy and to the biological and chemical principles of pharmacy, as well as groups of compulsory modules that focus on the core subjects of pharmacy. To successfully complete the programme, students have to write a bachelor’s thesis.

After Graduation
Graduates have the necessary basic competences to enter a profession, such as at analytical and diagnostic laboratories or in the pharmaceutical industry. They have basic theoretical and practical knowledge of drug development, drug production and quality control of pharmaceutical substances and drugs and know the fundamental principles of the methods applied in related disciplines, such as physics, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology and hygiene.
