The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,982 out of 5,401 passed the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this August 2023.

Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician.

ROOM ASSIGNMENT: August 2017 MedTech Board Exam

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Medical Technology released the August 2017 MedTech room assignments few days before the licensure exam. The Medical Technologist board exam is scheduled to take place on August 26-27, 2017 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tuguegarao.

MedTech is one of the programs with average number of examinees being administered by PRC. On the same exams conducted February 2017, 2,378 out of 3,216 examinees passed while on August 2016, 4,144 out of 5,126 board exam takers passed. EXAMINATION REMINDERS

As posted by PRC, examinees shall bring the following requirements on examination proper. The Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, Pencils No. 1 or 2/ Black ink ballpen, metered stamped mailing envelope, long brown and plastic/transparent envelopes.

PRC reminds examinees to report before 6:30 in the morning on the said date because late comers will not be admitted, examination fees for late examinees will also be forfeited.

Examinees are advised to verify their application number on the day of examination from room watchers/proctors assigned to the room. DRESS CODE

2025 MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST Board Exam: Filing Requirements, Schedule, Deadline, Coverage

The Medical Technologist Licensure Exam is a standardized test for Filipino graduates who want to pursue a career as a Licensed Medical Technologist. Before you can work in a laboratory and practice what you’ve learned in college, you should first go through the Med Tech rite of passage which is the board exam.

To take the board exam, you will need to go through the PRC registration process. This process has three parts:

Step 1: Check the Application Date Period for the Medical Technologists’ Board

Before you can take the Medical Technologists Licensure Exam, you should first consult the future exam dates listed below. The PRC opens the registration or filing period for the Med. Tech. board exam two to three months before the date of the exam.

The Med. Tech Board Exam is usually held around March and August every year. The schedule for the following year is usually released in the fourth quarter of the current year. The exam dates, the opening of registration, and the deadlines for 2023 have already been released by the PRC. See the list below.

Step 3: Start the Medical Technologists’ Licensure Exam Online Application

The PRC requires applicants to create a profile on the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS) before going to the local PRC office. In this step, you will create a profile, enter your personal information, and start the payment process. Only after payment will you be able to go to the PRC office to continue the Medical Technologists’ board exam application.

Step 5: Make Payment in your Chosen Payment Method

After following the instructions above, a reference number will be assigned to your transaction. Take note of this reference number because you will need it when making the payment to your preferred payment option.

How much is the fee for the Medical Technologist Licensure Exam?

As of the writing of the article, the fee is P900.
