Dr. Ruby was trained as a psychologist at the Florida State University clinical psychology program in Tallahassee, Florida, receiving his Ph.D. in 1995. He has been licensed to practice psychology in Maryland for 25 years. He has also been granted approval from the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to practice telepsychology with residents of several other states.

Admissions. The Department of Psychology typically receives over 350 applications annually for our Ph.D. programs. The incoming class each year ranges from 15 to 25 students. Our admissions process is centered within our areas of specialization ( behavior analysis, behavioral and cognitive neurosciences, counseling, developmental, social ).
The Internship Program combines intensive focused training together with general training in the practice of clinical psychology in a health care setting. Focused training occurs in one of three major areas of study: Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology, Medical/Health Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology. Learn more
