From the very first revelation, it is clear to us that a focus on mastery of science has been given by Islam through the Glorious Qur’an. Indeed, there are many more verses in the Qur’an that provide scientific encouragement for Muslims to master this branch of knowledge. While the Qur’an does contain many scientific verses in nature, this does not mean that the Qur’an is a book of science. Instead, the Qur’an is a book of signs for those who think and understand. This paper looks at the significance of science and scientific thought in Islam, and the lessons that can be learnt from the Qur’an and the Islamic Civilisation with regards to the development of science and scientific thought. This paper also looks at how the Qur’an provides inspiration to Muslim scientists to further their research in their respective scientific fields.

Therefore, religion adopts science as a way to reach the details of God's creation and therefore encourages science. Just as religion encourages scientific research, so does scientific research that is guided by the facts communicated by religion yield very rapid and definite results. This is because religion is the unique source that provides the most correct and definite answer to the question of how the universe and life came into being.

Quran is a book of wisdom, a book of guidance and law, and indicative of many research fields as discussed. Quranic verses imply fostering of inquisitive mind and discovery. Quran encourages us to reason, think, perceive, hear, discover and invent. Despite the fact that Islam being one of/counts among the major religions of the world, scientific progress in Muslim majority countries seems to be lagging behind the rest of the world. Therefore, there have been calls by Muslim scholars and clerics to bridge the gap between Islam and science, especially for young Muslims, by harmonising science and Islam in education. This study aims to analyze the documents pertaining to Islam, Science, and Education (ISE) extracted from the historical literature. For the purpose of analysis, firstly documents were retrieved from a scientific database and secondly, a descriptive analysis of temporal trends was conducted. The documents clustered according to as the time-lined categories were and then analysed qualitatively. Later, using VOS viewer, the analysis of spatial distribution, networks, and keywords was conducted. Universities and the scientific infrastructures in Muslim-majority countries need to undergo radical reforms if they want to avoid falling by the wayside in a world characterized by major scientific and technological innovations. This is the conclusion reached by Nidhal Guessoum and Athar Osama in their recent commentary Institutions: Revive universities of the Muslim world (1), published in the scientific journal Nature. The physics and astronomy professor Guessoum (American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates) and Osama, who is the founder of the Muslim World Science Initiative, use the commentary to summarize the key findings of the report Science at Universities of the Muslim World (PDF) (2) (3), which was released in October 2015 by a task force of policymakers, academic vice-chancellors, deans, professors, and science communicators. This report is one of the most comprehensive analyses of the state of scientific education and research in the 57 countries with a Muslim-majority population, which are members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The Holy Quran is the only book which is existing in its real shape because Allah Almighty has promised to protect it. This book was revealed on the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.). It is consisted of 6666 verses; among them 1000 verses relate to scientific thoughts. Before advent of the Holy Prophet, Muhammad, nominal scientific progress was made. All scientific inventions were occurred after revelation of the Holy Quran because most of the Scientists conducted research on the basis of Quranic knowledge. The objective of this research is to investigate " Scientific Thinking Approach " of Holy Quran and benefits of its implementation in Education Sector. For this purpose, we selected Quranic verses relating to Quranic Scientific Approach and analyzed their practical values. We used textual technique and sensory Quranic approach for analysis. We conclude that more inventions may be made by conducting research on the Quranic scientific topics.

چونکہ اس رات میں اللہ کی رحمت سے لاتعدادانسان دوزخ سے نجات اورچھٹکارا حاصل کرتے ہیں اس لیے اس رات کو شب براءت کہا جاتا ہے

شعبان المعظم استقبال رمضان کا مہینہ

اس ماہ کی فضیلت کی وجہ یہ معلوم ہوتی ہے کہ اس مہینہ میں ماہ رمضان کے روزوں، تراویح اور دیگر عبادات کی تیاری کا موقع ملتا ہے

حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی شادی

"واقعات" میں شائع کیا گیا

جناب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے لئے مخصوص کردیا تھا ۔اور آپ ﷺ چاہتے تھے کہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف سے اس کی پیشکش کی جائے ۔

زکوۃ ادا نہ کرنے کا گناہ

آج جو ملک میں قحط و افلاس و بے برکتی عام ہے شاید اس کی بہت بڑی وجہ زکوۃ کا مکمل طورپر ادا نہ کرنا ہے
