Mcmcaam naa” ok” tk” ok Loneliness It’s been too long after my last visit at my grandpa village. I used to live here for 10 years and then i fly to Africa to continue study at oversea,during in 10 years living in that village it leave so many memories that will live forever within my life. My grandpa in not here anymore,he passed away after had heart attack  two years ago,it’s been hard time for me to accept the fact he’s gone forever. I was still in Africa during that time,all i can do for him is pray and  recall all our memories in past. I have passed and graduated. I am now successful man with excellent life and have good job,still it’s not  enough to fill my empty loneliness. Day by day i felt there are some spot in my life is not complete yet,it’s haunting me and effect my life but no one know about it. Since the silence of loneliness has reached the limits and i have decided to visit my grandpa village to end my miserable situation. 20 years has passed and i am now at my grandpa house,all the memories now merge inside me. I’m getting older now as the time for me right now getting short and the legs are heavy to move around and playing with my only grandson.  Her parent died on car crash,it’s me on he depend now. The life is cruel but we know it’s not our decision to rule things like we want. I gave him all my loved to ensure he won’t feel piece of loneliness losing person we care and loved.

Sesi persekolahan semakin sampai ke penghujungnya. Sebelum bermula cuti sekolah, murid perlu melalui ujian/peperiksaan terakhir iaitu Peperiksaan Akhir Tahun yang menilai apa yang telah dipelajari oleh murid sepanjang setahun berada di sekolah.

Key Points to Remember When Writing an Essay About My Family for Class 3

A 10-line essay on my family for class 3 kids, short paragraph on my family for class 3 kids, long essay on my family for grade 3, what your 3rd grader will learn from the essay.

Essay writing is an important skill that students must possess for academic success in the future. Just like any other skill, writing well takes time and steady effort; and to improve their writing skills, kids have to be assigned topics that are easy and intuitive, such as ‘My Family’. For third graders, this topic is close to heart, and since many of them learn to express their feelings in a slightly better way and with a slightly more advanced vocabulary, it is a great topic to write about. In this article, we touch upon some important tips and key points that your third grader can keep in mind as they write their essay. These points will also teach your child to think about their family more deeply, understand the relationship dynamics and articulate their thoughts well.

Here are some important points to remember before writing an essay:

• Teach them to form their ideas about what they wish to write in the essay. This will help them determine the direction the essay will take and decide if they want to write about the life of each member or about their relationship and interactions with them.
• Show them how to write an outline for the essay. This is where they put their ideas from the last step into simple lines so they wouldn’t forget anything else later.
• Tell them to keep the essay simple and not dive too deep into any particular topic. This will help them stay on point and maintain the word count.
• Teach them to write in the “flow”. It means to write all that comes to their head without restriction.
• Write in short sentences and convey as many ideas as possible in fewer words. An essay such as ‘My Family’ can be written in short sentences by describing each family member and their importance in the child’s life.

Before children write complicated paragraphs, they should be asked to write essays in a simple one-line format. This is a good start before advancing to more complicated essay formats. Here is an example:

• I come from a humble family of four members – my dad, mom, my sister, and me.
• Our family is settled in Bangalore, although we are originally from a small town called Sangli in Maharashtra.
• My dad is a software engineer at an IT company in Bangalore, and my mother is an HR manager at a big company.
• I have extended families spread across Maharashtra and Karnataka. Some of my cousins also live in Bangalore.
• I love visiting my grandparents in Sangli during the holidays. They always take me out for ice cream and tell me nice stories during bedtime.
• My grandmother is an amazing cook, and I love all the food she prepares. I always long for her food before the holidays start.
• During weekends I go out with my parents and sister to the mall for fun. I love visiting toy stores and buying new toys.
• My sister is very young and likes to play all day long. She is still not old enough to play with me, so we play inside the house.
• My father loves wildlife and nature photography, and I love to watch him take photos. So sometimes, we go on long trips to capture beautiful pictures.
• My family is very loving and caring, and it is the most important thing for me in this world.

A short paragraph is slightly more challenging than the one-line essay discussed above. Here is an example of how to write one:

We are a family of five members. I am the youngest, while my sister and brother are much older than me. My father is a doctor, and he spends most of his time in the hospital. My mother is a homemaker, but before she decided to become a homemaker to take care of our family, she worked as a school teacher. My brother is studying engineering in a college close by, and my sister is in high school. I love my family because we do a lot of fun things together. During weekends, we go for long picnics. I enjoy the drive very much as there is a lot of greenery outside the city. My mother likes to watch the stars through her telescope. So, sometimes, we also go stargazing. Everyone in the neighbourhood likes our family as my parents are warm and kind-hearted people and they always teach us to be kind and considerate. We have a great relationship with all our neighbours, and we live together in harmony.

Long-form essay composition is quite complicated and requires some skill. Children first need to learn how to write short-form essays before moving to long essays. Here is an example of how your third grader can structure a long essay on ‘My Family’:

I am from a big joint family. There are seven members living in our house – my grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, sister, our pet dog Tommy, and me. Since we all consider Tommy an important member of the family, I have included him in the list. Unlike many of my friends in school who come from nuclear families, my grandparents live with us. I love having them in my life all the time as they are fun-loving people, and they take care of us.

My grandfather is a retired engineer, and my grandmother is a retired teacher. They were really good in studies themselves, which is why I take tuition from them. With my grandparents’ help, I have become an excellent student, and I get good marks on every test. My sister is preparing for her board exams, which is why my grandfather is helping her with maths and science when he gets time.

My father and mother are both software engineers at an IT company. They have busy schedules and leave home early together. My parents and my grandparents take turns to drop us at school. Our family is very closely bonded, and we love and treat each other with respect.

We enjoy watching television together. On occasions such as festivals, my grandmother prepares delicious food for us all. Every evening during dinner time, we discuss our day and share everything that makes us happy and sad. I feel blessed to have my family, and I feel even luckier to live with my grandparents as many of my classmates rarely meet their grandparents.

As English is not the first language for many Indian kids, writing an essay in English is bound to be beneficial for them. In this regard, familiar topics, such as My Family, My Best Friends, My Pets, My Mother, etc., can help third graders jog their memory and incorporate ideas on the chosen topic as they are most relevant to them. Also, since third graders have a better grasp of emotions than first and second graders, they can do a better job at it. Thus, this activity can improve your child’s observation skills, help them appreciate their family more, and strengthen their bond with the family as they pen down their thoughts and emotions.

‘My Family’ essay is a simple topic that all children would enjoy writing. Since it is most likely to be asked in tests and exams, it is good to be prepared for it. Have your child write about the topic in multiple ways using different styles and ideas to create a brilliant write-up each time!

There are also many Youtube videos on the SJKC syllabus. – Add Chinese Simplified Handwriting keyboard to your gadget. This allows you to follow the Chinese strokes and type. – Go to Youtube – Type “SJKC” and the “unit title” in the search bar – Choose video of teacher going through the textbook passage word for word

Hello Karen, as a non-Malaysian, I’m not fluent in the Malay language. Google translates “semakan” as “review”.

So KSSR Semakan probably means a review of the old KSSR syllabus, meaning KSSR Reviewed.

2023 UASA Bahasa Inggeris Paper Format for SK, SJKC and SJKT

After abolishing both UPSR and PT3, Ministry of Education Malaysia introduced Ujian Akhir Sesi Akademik, UASA, to strengthen School-based Assessment (Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah, PBS).

January 2023 is the first time all primary student standard 4 to 6, and secondary students of Form 1 to Form 3, will face UASA.

Unlike previously, MoE will prepare a question bank that schools will use to generate the exam paper for UASA. For primary school, only 5 subjects were included in UASA, which is Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris, Matematik, Sains and Sejarah.

The new UASA English exam format has arrived, and it is significantly different from previous years. In this article, we will explore the changes to the UASA BI exam paper format and provide tips on how to prepare for this new style of assessment.

We understand the challenges that parents and teachers face, trying to get students prepared for the new exam. Zekolah and 30 EdTech hired experienced teachers to prepare the model UASA exam paper for primary school from Standard 4 to Standard 6. Here’s a summary of the changes to UASA BI Paper format:

• Only 1 paper, instead of 2 paper for comprehension and writing in the past
• Total of 7 parts in the new exam paper
• Objective questions will have only 3 options (ABC), instead of 4 (ABCD)
• Word count for composition is lower
• New form of question, such as Word Completion

Let’s dive into the details here

Part 1: short text, multiple choice, 5 marks

• Short text can be in the form of Notice, Notes, Emails, et cetera
• Objective question with 3 options (A, B & C) only
• 1 mark for each question, total of 5 question

Part 2: Grammar, cloze text, 4 marks

• Short article with a few paragraph long
• Cloze test, whereby students are required to choose the correct missing words
• All objective questions with 3 options given
• 1 mark for each quest

Part 3: Comprehension, multiple choice, 5 marks

• Objective questions with 3 options each
• 1 mark for each question, total 5 questions in Part 3 BI Exam paper
• Similar with previous comprehension section. Students will need to answer 5 questions based on the information provided in the article

Part 4: Matching multiple text, 6 marks

• Students will get a few short articles (usually just 1 paragraph), then answer the question based on the article
• Usually the questions are in the form of matching
• For example, short article describing the appearance of three individuals, then questions asking about these for you to choose which description matches that person

Part 5: word completion, 5 marks

• this is new type of question
• question provide an explanation of the word, and the first letter, students to fill up the missing letter
• this could be a challenge for students who don’t have strong vocabulary

Part 6: Short communicative writing, 10 marks

• Only 1 questions that worth 10 marks, so you better pay attention to this part
• Common question types of communicative writing are email, letter, notice, etc
• For example, write an email to your cousin, sharing with her about your visit to Melaka
• Writing should be between 30 – 50 words

Part 7: Longer communicative message, 15 marks

• Only 1 question and student must answer it
• Composition must be between 60 to 80 words
• Comparing with Part 6, the requirements here are higher and question format is not limited to email and letter only

In conclusion, the new UASA English exam format is a significant departure from previous years, with a focus on vocabulary, grammar and critical thinking skills,. While this may be a challenge for some students, it is an opportunity to showcase your children’s skills and demonstrate your understanding of the material in a new way.

What Does African Rejection Mean for the U.S.?

The forced withdrawal , announced last month, of more than 1,000 U.S. Special Operations troops and drone operators in Niger and Chad should raise the alarm for Washington. In Africa, our policy of strengthening security partnerships rather than supporting democracy has not worked. The United States needs a new approach.

The troops had been dispatched there as a key part of America’s effort to confront terrorism, and the pullout follows the governments’ demands for new rules and regulations on U.S. military operations.

Russia, and increasingly Iran and other countries, are already stepping in to exploit a growing power vacuum in the region. That should be yet another reason for America to change course. Africa is less secure and less democratic today than when the United States sent those forces a decade ago. Given the rising influence of these other nations, that current is certain to speed up.

With Washington now forced from the front line of fighting terrorism in the region, it has the opportunity of taking a different approach: directly helping African countries deal with their economic and social problems by pushing for inclusive governance and stronger institutions. A commitment to promoting democracy, once pejoratively called nation-building, is often the first thing to go when the United States becomes ensnared in responding to local crises, as it had with terror threats in the Sahel, a semiarid area south of the Sahara.

U.S. officials would do well to remember that Africans are choosing their partners to advance their own interests, not America’s. If African governments are deciding to align themselves with Moscow over Washington, we should try to understand why rather than castigating them.

For many Sahelian leaders, choosing a strong ally is a simple matter of trying to stay in power. Moscow’s military support, offered under the guise of counterterrorism, helps. Here, Washington cannot and should not compete.

But other leaders are motivated more by a desire to diversify partnerships and to get the best deal when building infrastructure, improving education and agriculture, and extracting ores and minerals.

The roots of Washington’s worry about security concerns in the wider Sahel region emerged in the months after the Sept. 11 attacks. Weak governance and crushing poverty were seen as accelerants for a potential jihadist problem. But it was only in 2012, when extremist groups that were linked to Al Qaeda began seizing control of cities across northern Mali, that U.S. troops arrived in the region.

Since then, however, these jihadists have not displayed nearly the threat to U.S. interests that our level of military involvement would suggest. Instead, they preyed on fragile governments across the Sahel. Civilian leaders were unable to roll back the threat and failed to bring services to, or provide government control of, their countries’ increasingly populous and poor hinterlands.

The result is a region very different from the one the United States met when it first began sending security trainers and sharing sensitive intelligence in 2012. Six military governments and a host of new Russian military outposts now dot the region .

Along with the news last month of the U.S. forced departures from Niger and Chad , two countries the United Nations has said are on the front lines of the “global epicenter of terrorism,” the junta-run states of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger have expelled France, the former colonial power.

To be sure, losing a military foothold in Niger and Chad makes it harder for the United States to monitor jihadists across a dozen African countries and to track human smuggling, drug trafficking and the illicit flow of arms, all of which are destabilizing the continent. U.S. military officials are already fanning out across West Africa, looking for new hosts for its drones.

But beyond the tactical losses, the withdrawal represents a genuine strategic loss for Washington.

Countries including Russia and Iran have seen an opportunity in Africa to make gains in great, and not-so-great, power competition. Every country from which France, and now the United States, have departed has welcomed Russian military advisers, mostly in the form of Moscow’s successor to the Wagner Group, Africa Corps. Russian forces can now move freely across friendly African states from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean to the Atlantic.

One day soon, Moscow hopes to add warm-water ports on the Red Sea and even the Atlantic coast of Africa. These can be used to supply its growing military presence across the continent and export Africa’s prized mineral resources. Iran has similarly spied an opening to break its diplomatic isolation and turn a profit, eyeing purchase agreements with Niger’s state-linked uranium company and selling advanced weapons to Sudan’s army, helping to fuel that country’s yearlong civil war.

U.S. officials routinely frame this struggle for influence as a new Cold War. That view makes Washington no friends in African countries, where officials believe that America isn’t really interested in them beyond not wanting to lose ground to rivals. The message that Gen. Michael Langley, the head of the U.S. military’s Africa Command, delivered to Congress in March is a case in point. “A number of countries are at the tipping point of actually being captured by the Russian Federation,” he said, “as they are spreading some of their false narratives.” His message suggests a view in Washington of African nations being unwittingly duped.

Rather than escalating this competition any further, Washington should reassess the actual jihadist threat to U.S. interests and weigh the ultimate cost of security partnerships with countries lacking in democratic institutions. It should now reflect on whether the tools it has favored for so long — intelligence sharing, military training and weapons supplying — really make sense in weak and desperately poor states.

Washington has long struggled to strike a balance between protecting its position and advancing democratic values in Africa. For it to succeed, it must recognize that in this era of geopolitical choice, it can no longer dictate the terms of its partnerships with African states. If it does, it will find itself increasingly alone and unable to advance either its interests or its values on this increasingly strategic continent.
