Climate change and ecosystems: threats, opportunities and ...
In particular, it explored current research frontiers including the effects of change in climate variability and extremes; interactions of climate change with other human-induced stressors; thresholds and the potential for abrupt and irreversible change; and multi-trophic interactions.
A review of the global climate change impacts, adaptation ...
Climate change is a long-lasting change in the weather arrays across tropics to polls. It is a global threat that has embarked on to put stress on various sectors. This study is aimed to conceptually engineer how climate variability is deteriorating the sustainability of diverse sectors worldwide.
Themes of climate change agency: a qualitative study on how ...
This study analyzes how people discursively construct their (non)agency—how they display abilities and capacities to act, or the lack thereof—vis-à-vis climate change. The paper...
Climate change and health in North America: literature review ...
Synthesizing evidence on climate change impacts, climate-health adaptation, and climate-health mitigation is crucial for health practitioners and decision-makers to effectively understand, prepare for, and respond to climate change impacts on human health.
A Survey of Global Impacts of Climate Change: Replication ...
I. Introduction. Economic models predict that climate change will have significant effects on economic activity in several ways. Key sectors are agriculture, coastal communities due to sea-level rise, health, ecosystems, and energy systems.
Climate change and human behaviour - Nature
In this joint Focus issue between Nature Climate Change and Nature Human Behaviour, we take a closer look at the role of human behaviour in the climate crisis. Climate change is an...
Climate Change Communication Research: A Systematic Review - IU
Published August 31, 2020. Abstract. This study is an examination of climate change communication research in which we examine topical, geographical and methodological trends. Using 160 peer-reviewed journal articles as evidence, we assess the field’s climate changeresearch to-date and draw recommendations for future directions for research.
Assessing the Impacts of Climate Change: A Literature Review
Assessing the impacts of climate change: a literature review. onsforthe world economy and, more br. adly, for many areas of human activity. The purpose of this review is twofold. First, it is to summarise current estimates of the impacts of climate change and to explain how these estimates are built in orde.
Field interventions for climate change mitigation behaviors ...
Behavioral change is essential to mitigate climate change. To advance current knowledge, we synthesize research on interventions aiming to promote climate change mitigation behaviors in field settings. In a preregistered second-order meta-analysis, we assess the overall effect of 10 meta-analyses, incorporating a total of 430 primary studies.
