Continuing Workforce Education Certificate Programs
Students can take short-term, rapid certification and licensure training programs through the Florida State College at Jacksonville Continuing Workforce Education (C.W.E.) department. Continuing Workforce Education Certificate programs may provide basic training in a specific function or may equip a student with a certificate or training that will lead to an industry credential or license.
Some Continuing Workforce Education Certificate programs or classes may be connected to other related FSCJ degree and certificate programs as part of an overall career pathway. Additionally, many of these credentials/licenses articulate into other programs the College offers. To complete a Continuing Workforce Education Certificate program or class, students must demonstrate that they have mastered specific competencies through class attendance and submission of academic work. Classes may be offered online, hybrid or on campus.
Students will earn a completion certificate, and any Continuing Workforce Education Certificate classes will be shown on the student’s college transcript. For any programs or courses that lead to specific licensing or certification, students may be expected to provide proof of course attendance, course completion or specific documentation required to fulfill certification or licensure requirements. Continuing Workforce Education Certificate programs are not eligible for financial aid. Some Continuing Workforce Education Certificate programs/classes may have prerequisites or pre-admission requirements. Students may also be eligible to pursue industry certification or licensing that could be eligible for articulation to a related career certificate or credit program.

Continuing Workforce Education Admissions Requirements
To meet the minimum requirement for acceptance to continuing workforce education programs at Florida State College at Jacksonville, students must:

Meet the admissions requirements for continuing workforce education programs:
General admission for the Continuing Workforce Education programs:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Individuals under the age of 18 may be admitted to Continuing Workforce Education programs if they provide written consent for admission from the individual’s parent or legal guardian.
Limited Admissions Programs: Some Continuing Workforce Education certificate programs have additional admission requirements established by the college administration. Admission requirements for Limited Admission programs will be included in any published information regarding the program or class.
Continuing Workforce Education Completion Certificate Requirements
To be awarded a completion certificate, students must have met the following requirements.
Fulfill all requirements for the chosen program of study as outlined in the Florida State College at Jacksonville catalog and curriculum.
Complete the required attendance, including any specified contact hours, for the chosen program of study with passing grades on all courses that apply.
Fulfill all obligations, financial or otherwise, to the College before completion.
Note: Students are cautioned to pay particular attention to the following statement.
Many courses in this catalog have prerequisite requirements and/or corequisite courses listed in the course descriptions. Students are advised to be guided by these requirements.

Welcome to OLLI at UNF’s online enrollment system! It’s never been easier, faster or more secure to enroll online. In order to enroll in our programs, you must be signed in and have a membership that is valid through the end of the term. The “Add to cart” button will appear if you are signed in, you have a valid OLLI at UNF membership and enrollment has opened.
Important tips for your successful enrollment. Your enrollment status will be "pending" if you do not have a valid membership prior to enrolling for programs, your computer places a pop up blocker on OLLI's enrollment site, your transaction times out prior to payment completion or you hit the "back" button during your transaction. For your enrollment success, ensure your membership is valid through the end of the last program for which you are enrolling, clear pop up blockers for OLLI's online enrollment system, select your programs in priority order before initiating your transaction and never ever hit the "back" button.
