This section should be broken down by month and year. If you are still in the planning stage of your business, it may be helpful to estimate how much money will be needed each month until you reach profitability.

Startup Costs

Startup costs are typically the first expenses you will incur when beginning an enterprise. These include legal fees, accounting expenses, and other costs associated with getting your business off the ground. The amount of money needed to start a alkaline water business varies based on many different variables, but below are a few different types of startup costs for a alkaline water business.

Running & Operating Costs

Running costs refer to ongoing expenses related directly with operating your business over time like electricity bills or salaries paid out each month. These types of expenses will vary greatly depending on multiple variables such as location, team size, utility costs, etc.

Marketing & Sales Expenses

You should include any costs associated with marketing and sales, such as advertising and promotions, website design or maintenance. Also, consider any additional expenses that may be incurred if you decide to launch a new product or service line. For example, if your alkaline water business has an existing website that needs an upgrade in order to sell more products or services, then this should be listed here.

7. Financial Plan & Projections

A financial plan is an important part of any business plan, as it outlines how the business will generate revenue and profit, and how it will use that profit to grow and sustain itself. To devise a financial plan for your alkaline water business, you will need to consider a number of factors, including your start-up costs, operating costs, projected revenue, and expenses.

Here are some steps you can follow to devise a financial plan for your alkaline water business plan:

  • Determine your start-up costs: This will include the cost of purchasing or leasing the space where you will operate your business, as well as the cost of buying or leasing any equipment or supplies that you need to start the business.
  • Estimate your operating costs: Operating costs will include utilities, such as electricity, gas, and water, as well as labor costs for employees, if any, and the cost of purchasing any materials or supplies that you will need to run your business.

  • Estimate your expenses: In addition to your operating costs, you will need to consider other expenses, such as insurance, marketing, and maintenance. You will also need to set aside money for taxes and other fees.
  • Create a budget: Once you have estimated your start-up costs, operating costs, revenue, and expenses, you can use this information to create a budget for your business. This will help you to see how much money you will need to start the business, and how much profit you can expect to make.

Once you have completed your market research and planning, it’s time to set up and operationalize your alkaline water business. This section will guide you through the necessary steps and considerations to ensure a smooth and successful launch.

Legal and Regulatory Requirements

Before you start selling alkaline water, it’s crucial to understand and comply with the legal and regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction. This includes obtaining the necessary permits and licenses to operate your business legally. The specific requirements may vary depending on your location, so it’s essential to research and consult with local authorities or legal professionals to ensure compliance.

In addition to permits and licenses, you must also adhere to health and safety standards. Alkaline water is considered a food product, and as such, it must meet certain quality and safety regulations. This may involve regular testing of your water source, proper labeling of your products, and maintaining a clean and sanitary production facility.

Choosing the Right Business Structure

Selecting the appropriate business structure is a crucial decision that will impact your liability, taxes, and ownership. The most common business structures for small businesses are sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company (LLC), and corporation. Each structure has its pros and cons, so it’s essential to evaluate your specific circumstances and consult with a business attorney or accountant to determine the best fit for your alkaline water business.

A sole proprietorship is the simplest and most common structure for small businesses. It offers complete control and easy setup but also exposes the owner to personal liability. A partnership involves two or more individuals sharing ownership and responsibilities. It’s important to have a well-drafted partnership agreement to outline roles, responsibilities, and profit-sharing arrangements.

An LLC provides a higher level of personal liability protection while maintaining flexibility in management and taxation. It offers a good balance between the simplicity of a sole proprietorship and the protection of a corporation. On the other hand, a corporation provides the highest level of liability protection but involves more administrative requirements and formalities.

Sourcing Alkaline Water Products

The quality of your alkaline water products is paramount to the success of your business. Therefore, finding reliable and reputable suppliers or manufacturers is crucial. Look for suppliers who can consistently provide high-quality alkaline water that meets the necessary standards and certifications.

When evaluating potential suppliers, consider factors such as their reputation, experience, and track record. Look for certifications such as NSF International or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that the products meet strict quality and safety standards. It’s also important to consider the logistics, such as shipping costs and lead times, to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.

Establishing strong relationships with your suppliers is essential. Regular communication, prompt payment, and fair negotiation practices will help foster a mutually beneficial partnership. Consider partnering with local suppliers or manufacturers to support the local economy and reduce shipping costs.

Establishing Distribution Channels

Once you have sourced your alkaline water products, it’s time to establish distribution channels to get your products into the hands of consumers. Consider the various options available, such as selling through retail stores, online platforms, or employing a direct sales model.

Retail stores can provide a physical presence and allow customers to interact with your products directly. Approach local health food stores, gyms, wellness centers, and grocery stores to discuss potential partnerships. Offer attractive product displays, educational materials, and incentives to encourage stores to carry your products.

Online platforms offer a convenient way to reach a broader audience. Create an e-commerce website where customers can purchase your alkaline water products directly. Optimize your website for search engines, offer secure payment options, and provide detailed product information to enhance the online shopping experience.

Direct sales involve selling your products directly to consumers through channels such as home parties, trade shows, or farmers markets. This allows for a more personal interaction with customers and provides an opportunity to educate them about the benefits of alkaline water. Consider offering promotions or samples to incentivize direct sales.

Building relationships with distributors and retailers is crucial for expanding your distribution channels. Approach potential partners and present the unique selling points of your alkaline water products. Provide them with marketing materials, product samples, and incentives to encourage them to distribute and promote your products.

Creating a Strong Brand Identity

Building a strong brand identity is crucial for standing out in the market and connecting with your target audience. Your brand identity encompasses elements such as your brand name, logo, tagline, colors, and overall visual aesthetic. These elements should align with your brand values and resonate with your target market.

Start by brainstorming a compelling brand name that is memorable, relevant, and reflects the essence of your business. It should evoke the idea of health, wellness, and hydration. Ensure that the name is not trademarked or already in use by another company.

Design a professional and eye-catching logo that visually represents your brand identity. It should be simple, versatile, and easily recognizable. Consider hiring a professional designer who understands your vision and can create a logo that captures the essence of your alkaline water business.

A tagline is a short and catchy phrase that encapsulates the benefits and unique selling proposition of your alkaline water products. It should be memorable, persuasive, and resonate with your target market. Take the time to brainstorm and craft a tagline that effectively communicates the value of your products.

Consistency is key when it comes to branding. Ensure that your brand identity is consistent across all marketing materials, packaging, website, and social media platforms. This consistency helps build brand recognition and fosters trust and loyalty among your customers.

Developing Marketing Collateral

Marketing collateral refers to the various materials that promote your alkaline water business and products. This includes packaging, labels, brochures, flyers, and any other materials used for promotions and advertising. The goal of marketing collateral is to communicate the benefits and value of your products effectively.

Invest in high-quality packaging that not only protects your alkaline water but also visually represents your brand. Consider using eco-friendly packaging materials to align with the increasing consumer demand for sustainable products. Incorporate your logo, brand colors, and tagline into the packaging design to reinforce your brand identity.

Labels are an integral part of your alkaline water products as they provide important information about the product and its health benefits. Ensure that your labels are clear, informative, and compliant with labeling regulations. Include details such as pH level, mineral content, and any certifications or awards your products have received.

Brochures and flyers are effective tools for educating consumers about the benefits of alkaline water and promoting your brand. Highlight the unique selling points of your products, share testimonials from satisfied customers, and include compelling visuals to capture attention. Distribute these materials at trade shows, local events, or include them in customer orders.

Online Marketing and E-commerce

In today’s digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial for the success of your alkaline water business. Start by developing a professional and user-friendly website that showcases your brand, products, and values. Optimize your website for search engines to increase your visibility and attract organic traffic. Include detailed product descriptions, customer testimonials, and an easy-to-use ordering system.

Social media marketing is a powerful tool for reaching and engaging with your target audience. Identify the social media platforms most popular among your target market and create compelling content that resonates with them. Share educational posts about the benefits of alkaline water, health tips, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of your business. Collaborate with influencers or wellness experts to expand your reach and credibility.

Email marketing is another effective strategy for nurturing customer relationships and promoting your alkaline water products. Encourage website visitors to sign up for your newsletter by offering exclusive discounts or free resources. Send regular newsletters with valuable content, product updates, and special promotions to keep your customers engaged and informed.

Offline Marketing and Customer Acquisition

While online marketing is essential, offline marketing activities can also play a significant role in acquiring customers for your alkaline water business. Participating in local events, trade shows, and wellness expos allows you to showcase your products, engage with potential customers, and build brand awareness. Offer samples or discounts to encourage trial and collect customer feedback.

Consider implementing customer loyalty programs and referral incentives to encourage repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals. Offer rewards such as discounts, free products, or access to exclusive events for loyal customers. Provide referral bonuses to customers who bring in new customers, as this can be a cost-effective way to acquire new customers and expand your customer base.

In the next section, we will explore financial management and growth strategies to help you ensure the long-term success and sustainability of your alkaline water business.

Financial Management and Growth Strategies

Effective financial management is crucial for the long-term success and sustainability of your alkaline water business. This section will explore various aspects of financial planning, pricing strategies, scaling, and customer satisfaction to help you maximize profitability and achieve growth.

Budgeting and Financial Planning

Before launching your alkaline water business, it’s essential to develop a comprehensive budget and financial plan. Start by estimating your startup costs, which may include product sourcing, packaging, branding, marketing materials, legal fees, permits, and licenses. Identify any initial investments required for equipment, inventory, or facility setup.

Once you have determined your startup costs, create a monthly budget that outlines your projected expenses and revenue. Consider factors such as marketing and advertising costs, employee salaries, rent or mortgage payments, utilities, and operational expenses. Having a clear understanding of your financial commitments will help you make informed decisions and ensure that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses.

As part of your financial planning, develop revenue forecasts based on your market research and sales projections. Consider factors such as pricing, market demand, competition, and distribution channels. Be realistic with your revenue projections, taking into account the time it may take to establish a customer base and generate consistent sales.

Regularly review and update your budget and financial plan as your business evolves. Track your actual expenses and revenue against your projections to identify any variances and make necessary adjustments. This ongoing financial management will help you stay on track and make informed decisions to maximize profitability.

Pricing and Profit Margins

Determining the right pricing strategy for your alkaline water products is crucial for both profitability and market competitiveness. Consider factors such as production costs, packaging expenses, marketing and distribution costs, and desired profit margins when setting your prices.

Conduct a thorough cost analysis to understand your production costs, including the cost of sourcing alkaline water, packaging materials, labeling, and any other associated expenses. Consider factors such as volume discounts, economies of scale, and potential fluctuations in costs. This analysis will help you determine a baseline price that covers your costs and ensures profitability.

Research the pricing strategies of your competitors to gain insights into market trends and customer expectations. While it’s important to be competitive, avoid underpricing your products as it may devalue your brand and erode profitability. Instead, differentiate your products by highlighting their unique features, quality, and health benefits, allowing you to justify a premium price.

Consider offering different pricing tiers or packages to cater to different customer segments. This can include options such as bulk discounts, subscription models, or value-added bundles. Providing customers with choices allows them to select the option that best meets their needs while still generating revenue for your business.

Regularly review your pricing strategy to ensure it remains competitive and aligned with market trends. Monitor customer feedback, conduct price sensitivity analysis, and assess your profit margins to make necessary adjustments. Striking the right balance between pricing and profitability is essential for the long-term success of your alkaline water business.

Scaling and Expansion

Once your alkaline water business gains traction and establishes a solid customer base, you may consider scaling and expanding your operations. Scaling can involve increasing production capacity, expanding distribution channels, or entering new markets. However, scaling should be approached strategically to ensure sustainable growth.

Evaluate your production processes and capacity to determine if scaling is feasible. Consider factors such as equipment upgrades, additional staff, and potential outsourcing options. Assess the impact scaling may have on your costs, quality control, and customer service to ensure that the expansion does not compromise the integrity of your products.

Expanding your distribution channels is another way to grow your alkaline water business. Consider partnering with distributors, wholesalers, or retailers to extend your reach and make your products more accessible to a wider audience. Develop strong relationships with potential partners and negotiate mutually beneficial terms to maximize your distribution opportunities.

Consider franchising or opening additional locations as a means of expansion. Franchising allows you to leverage the success of your brand and business model while allowing others to operate under your established name and guidelines. Opening additional locations can help you capture new markets and increase your customer base.

Customer Satisfaction and Retention

In the highly competitive alkaline water market, customer satisfaction and retention are vital for long-term success. Happy and loyal customers not only generate repeat business but also become brand advocates, spreading positive word-of-mouth and attracting new customers.

Regularly monitor customer feedback and reviews to gain insights into their experiences and satisfaction levels. Address any issues or concerns promptly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience. Consider implementing a customer loyalty program that rewards repeat purchases or referrals to incentivize customer retention.

Continuously seek ways to improve your products and services based on customer feedback. Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in the alkaline water industry to ensure that your products remain competitive and meet the evolving needs of your customers. Engaging with your customers through surveys or focus groups can provide valuable insights for product enhancements and innovation.

This will help you identify areas where you may need to adjust your spending or revenue generation strategies.

Determining the right pricing strategy for your alkaline water products is crucial for both profitability and competitiveness. Conduct a thorough analysis of your costs, including production, packaging, marketing, and distribution expenses. Take into account the quality of your products, the value they offer, and the pricing strategies of your competitors.

Consider factors such as market demand, customer perception, and the perceived value of your products when setting your prices. Strive to strike a balance between generating sufficient profit margins and offering competitive prices that appeal to your target market.

Regularly review your pricing strategy to stay competitive and adjust as necessary. Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and the pricing strategies of your competitors. Consider offering promotional discounts, bundle deals, or loyalty programs to attract customers and encourage repeat purchases.

As your alkaline water business grows, you may consider scaling and expanding your operations. Scaling involves increasing your production capacity, expanding your product line, or entering new markets. Expansion can include opening additional locations, partnering with distributors, or exploring franchising opportunities.

Evaluate your production processes and capacity to determine if scaling is feasible. Assess the impact on your costs, quality control, and customer service before making any decisions. Scaling should be done strategically to ensure that your business can handle the increased demand while maintaining the quality and consistency of your products.

Expansion through additional locations or partnerships can help you reach new markets and increase your customer base. Conduct market research to identify potential areas for expansion. Consider factors such as population demographics, competition, and distribution networks when selecting new locations or partners.

Franchising can be an effective way to expand your business without incurring significant costs. Franchising allows others to operate under your established brand and business model, providing a streamlined path for growth. However, it’s important to develop a comprehensive franchise agreement and ensure that your brand standards are maintained.

Customer satisfaction and retention are crucial for the long-term success of any business, including an alkaline water business. Happy customers not only generate repeat business but also become brand advocates, spreading positive word-of-mouth and attracting new customers.

To ensure customer satisfaction, provide exceptional customer service at all touchpoints. Respond promptly to inquiries, address any issues or concerns, and strive to exceed customer expectations. Implement a reliable and efficient order fulfillment process to ensure that customers receive their products in a timely manner.

Collect customer feedback regularly through surveys, reviews, or direct communication. This feedback will help you understand your customers’ preferences, identify areas for improvement, and develop new products or services that meet their needs.

Implement customer loyalty programs to reward and retain your existing customers. Offer incentives such as discounts, exclusive offers, or free gifts to encourage repeat purchases and foster customer loyalty. Engage with your customers through personalized communication, such as email newsletters or social media interactions, to maintain a strong relationship with them.

In summary, effective financial management and growth strategies are essential for the long-term success of your alkaline water business. Kangen Water Business Model Review – What You Should Know Before Joining

Cathy · June 15, 2020 · 7 Comments

The Kangen water business model has been around for more than 40 years and presents a unique opportunity that lets you make money by selling water machines. Some people market through registered companies while others do it on their own. What should you expect when getting involved and is it really a profitable venture?

Let’s take a closer look at this so-called lucrative opportunity.

What Is Kangen Water?

Kangen Water  is a patented water ionizing system designed and manufactured in Japan. It’s marketed worldwide under a direct selling company called Enagic that sells such machines and its components.

The business idea revolves around the benefits of consuming pure alkaline water, a trend that has been going on for a while since the discovery of ionized water technology. According to the company, Kangen machines can produce up to 5 different types of water;

  • Strong Kangen Water (pH 11) = Contains dissolving and heat-conducting properties, suitable for food preparation and cleaning, not for drinking.
  • Kangen Water (ph 8.5 – 9.5) = Hydrogen-rich and electrolytically-reduced water that is suitable for drinking, cooking, and watering plants.
  • Clean Water (pH 7) = Free of chlorine and rust. Suitable for drinking, preparing baby food, and taking medication.
  • Beauty Water (pH 4 – 6) = A slightly acidic form that comes with astringent effects. Suitable for gentle cleaning and beauty care.
  • Strong Acidic Water (pH 2.7) = Contains cleansing properties. Best for cleaning activities. Not suitable for drinking.

The marketing plan is thus targeted at homeowners, offices, or any establishments that rely on good quality water to operate their business. To do this at a grand scale, the company leverages from its distributorship program and that’s the business opportunity we’re going to talk about in the remaining part of the review.

Kangen Water Compensation Plan

In the direct selling business model , you’re basically dealing directly with the customers themselves. This usually translates to higher profits since it takes away the middle man. There are three main ways distributors are compensated by the multibillion-dollar company.

(1) Earn Commissions from Product Sales

Enagic currently offers 8 different filtration models, priced between $1500 to $6000. For every unit sold, you’re entitled to a certain set of commission value, paid through direct and indirect sales channels. A lower range model pays about $90 while the higher end one rewards as much as $400 per sale.

(2) Earn from Rankings

The ranking of your distributorship is determined by the number of units sold. The most basic level – 1A – is awarded when you personally sell 2 units. You become 2A when 3 units are sold and 6A your sales cross over 101 units.

These ranking numbers actually act as multipliers to your direct commission earnings. So for example, if you’re a 2A and the commission is $285 per unit, you’d make $570 (285 x 2) profit. If you’re a 3A, you’d make $855 (285 x 3) and so forth.

(3) Earn from Bonuses

Between 1A and 6A levels, one’s earnings are mainly focused on the number of sales with the exception of special points, a type of bonus awarded when a direct sale is made within 90 days.  Beyond 6A, your income stream will diversify from add-ons such as education allowance, monthly and quarterly incentives as well as leadership bonuses.

The bigger your circle of network, the more access to higher commissions and group bonuses you’ll get. To become a distributor, you must first get to know the product and purchase a Kangen water machine that’s suitable for your needs.

You can then promote the products (and the business opportunity) through word of mouth or do demonstrations at exhibitions. What most people commonly do nowadays is to market through blogs and social media as those channels are more convenient and they let you tap into the warm market.

Like any other business, being proactive in sharing and follow-ups help to convert leads into sales. It’s not impossible to run this venture on your own, but the gain is clearly more significant if you’ve got a strong network of distributors and good relationships with the customers.

Can You Make Money with Kangen Water?

Anyone with an entrepreneurial mindset should be able to see many opportunities take flight with this Kangen water business thing. For the most part, your intuition is right when we analyze these rather convincing facts.

(1) An Evergreen Niche

Water, just like air, is an essential natural resource in our daily lives. The quest for good quality water has escalated over the years as more people become aware of water hygiene and the benefits of certain chemical ingredients that come with it. In fact, it’s not an uncommon practice for every modern household to install a water filtration system nowadays.

On the internet, searches have been populating for a while now as information becomes available, and more water machines are marketed through eCommerce. Based on Google’s data for the past 5 years, there has been a steady and somewhat increasing trend for the term ‘ alkaline water ’ and this pattern, I believe will be like that for some time.

(2) Good Product Quality

Over the course of establishment and product innovation,  the Kangen machine has earned many certifications, meeting most ISO criteria and water quality standards which is safe for the consumers. The fact that it’s built with Japanese technology is also a reassuring factor because the country has long-established a solid reputation for producing long-lasting products. Their automobile and clothing industries are reflective of these qualities.

(3) Attractive Compensation Plan

The Kangen Water compensation plan is probably one of the easiest to comprehend in comparison to other direct selling companies. You can gain a significant amount of profit by just selling a little. This is largely due to the generous sales commission AND the ability to multiple earnings through rankings and downline expansion.

(4) Good Marketing Support

As a distributor of a 40-year-old company, you can expect to get a lot of marketing material as well as support from uplines on how to promote the machine. For a small fee, you’ll also get a simple landing page, containing information about the product and a signup form for new customers. This webpage is then used to market online either through paid advertising, social media posting or blogging to reach a wider audience on the internet.

However, it’s not all roses and rainbows when it comes to selling Kangen. If you’ve been approached with these kinds of perceptions, some undesirable situations will catch you by surprise.

(1) MLM Recruiting

When one is paid through a ranking system, recruiting new downlines is inevitable at some point if you want to make the most out of the distributorship program. This may not be agreeable for most people because you not only need to sell the products but also the business opportunity.

That means you must be equipped with the technical know-how while preaching the idea to friends, families, and so on.

You get the drill but in today’s consumerism, such an approach is perceived negatively because there’s an element of personal gain and pressured buying that makes some people uncomfortable. Some likened it to a pyramid scheme and even though Enagic has a lot of credits to boost its reputation, the system can still be abused by certain parties.

For example, there’s a high ticket online program called Affiliate Institute that teaches people how to make big commissions. In reality, they are actually recruiting Enagic distributors under the founders so members who don’t know any better would end up paying for the water machine AND the expensive program at the same time.

It’s stated clearly that ‘no joining fee’ is required to become a distributor so if you’re paying to become one, you’ve probably been scammed .

(2) Expensive Machines

While you’re reading this, there are many alkaline water machines in the market and since Kangen is an MLM product, the selling price is often more (if not most) expensive than other brands. Why is that? Well, that’s because they need the money to pay for the basic commissions and beyond and reward all the distributors at higher levels.

It’s one thing to pay for high-quality products but when prices are intentionally inflated to compensate for incentives, do you think savvy consumers will not notice? Of course, they will and if they know how to do the math, maintaining the machine can be an expensive affair.

Mind you, this type of pricing system is not uncommon in the MLM industry. Herbalife , Lularoe , and Monat are some companies whose products are often marked at higher selling prices for the same purpose. To make matters more challenging, interested parties can only purchase the machine from a known distributor.

That means you can’t buy them off the Enagic website just like you would with other competitors whose features are likely just as good (if not better) and more affordable. This is a huge factor in converting sales nowadays; if the buying process is inconvenient, consumers are just going to move onto other brands.

(3) The Alkaline Water Controversy

Despite the overwhelming trend, there are many controversies surrounding the consumption of alkaline water. Some people say it could make you look younger, more hydrated, and even cure cancer, which I think is a bit far-fetched. Some people think it’s just marketing gimmicks used to make money off people’s hope for better health.

The debates about this topic are endless and you can research online for days trying to straighten the facts. I’m sure many of us grew up drinking water just as it is – clean and mostly filtered. However, the emergence of alkaline water has caused this innate mindset to shift to the right, raising doubts over the regular water we currently drink and many health-related questions we’ve never considered before.

So if you’re going to promote Kangen water, make sure you’ve done your homework because there will be a lot of wary people out there who will be questioning the benefits, the cost, and the truth of consuming such a state of water.

Is Kangen Water a Good Business Opportunity?

For the most part, it is. After all, it’s all about promoting the consumption of good quality water. I think the product may appeal to health and fitness enthusiasts who are keen to try something new, granted they can afford it. If you’ve positive experience with ionized water or are fascinated with the different filtration systems out there, this is certainly a profitable niche to venture into.

However, I find that selling water machines through MLM is kind of backward. Such marketing techniques were quite popular back in the ’80s and ’90s but with the advent of the internet, there are now better ways to make money with water products without having to do demos or recruiting.

It’s called affiliate marketing and this is made possible because people can now search for more information online (specs, price, features and etc.) before making a purchase and if something strikes their fancy, they can easily order and have the product delivered to their homes.

My wife and I are very concerned about water hygiene. We have a reverse osmosis system at our kitchen sink and water distiller for certain other things. Your article about ionized Kangen water is interesting as I have not heard of actually preparing pH-specific water for different uses.

Not too keen on the MLM-side of things but I’m interested to learn more about this water system and its benefits from a consumer’s perspective.

As someone who has been approached time and again on social media from the start of this pandemic by MLMs, I can tell you that it has left a super sour taste in my mouth. I’ve heard of Kangen before but didn’t do enough research to understand it was an MLM until I read this review. The business plan is undoubtedly attractive, but the controversies surrounding this alkaline water thing are equally as shocking!

I have never heard of the Kangen Water Machines until I read your review. What a fascinating product! I am going to have to say, I agree with you on the fact, that MLM marketing just turns people off. I am one who does not like the recruiting end of it. Plus, most of the products are more expensive, and I do shop around. I feel others do as well.

I do like ionized air filtration systems, but I am not so sure about drinking ionized water! If someone wants to buy this system, can they find a local distributor for this product?

Hi Chas. They could if the local distributor has a physical business listed on Google . It may show up on your search results when you enter keywords like Kangen Water or Alkaline Water System. I know it does on mine.

My aunt is one of the highest-earning distributors of Enagic here in the Philippines. Both husband and wife, they earn in millions based on our local currency from the team they have built local and abroad, and actually, they are now in “monitoring mode” as they got so many leaders in their downline who are doing the work for them.

Your review of Enagic is thorough, something that’s very detailed and cannot be construed as biased. It is for the reader to weigh both the pros and cons and to use their good mental judgment on whether to pursue joining this company or not. One needs to consider all angles when evaluating this kind of high ticket business opportunity .

This is actually the first I’ve heard about alkaline water and an MLM company associated with it. You provided a good breakdown of both. Also, nice job pointing out how to avoid potential scams .

I live in Arizona, and the water out here is very hard. But we do have a water softener that makes it a lot more drinkable. In truth, I think I feel more comfortable drinking water as close to pH neutral as possible. That is unless any substantive evidence ever comes out supporting any health benefits with drinking alkaline water.
