My girls and I are very pleased and happy with Homework Club. This program provides an excellent virtual sessions utilizing audio/video chat and on campus tutoring. Most importantly they're able to support my girls with all school subjects. The tutors are amazing and the director is wonderful, she always takes her time to validate all assignments are completed on time and accurately. Amazing pricing for tutoring and flexible hours. I absolutely recommend Homework Club!

Very happy how hw club helped my son succeed. Highly recommend sending your kids there. When they come home all of the hw is done so the stress of doing hw is no longer an issue.

Our Main Office offers homework assistance, tutoring and enrichment opportunities. It's perfect for students who prefer one on one or smaller group sizes. 

During Winter, Spring and Summer break if we are not on Sierra Madre Elementary or Altadena Arts Magnet campuses, our programs and camps will be held here.

Daily after-school tutoring and homework support for students K-5th grade. 

Safe and Inclusive Environment 

We strive for positivity! Most importantly, we focus on being a safe and inclusive program for students and their family. 

STEAM & Enrichment Programs

Through out the school year, we offer STEAM and Enrichment programs for SME students. During our Winter, Spring and Summer programs, enrollment is open to the public. 

Homework Club follows PUSD's academic calendar. We will be closed all PUSD school holidays and student free days. In the event of an unscheduled closure parents and families will be notified as soon as possible by a staff member.

Meals and Snacks

All students will be offered meals and snacks daily after-school from the school's cafeteria. Students are welcome to bring food from home. 

Homework Club reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at anytime.

Learning Center & Bookstore

For a limited time, we are offering a "Buy One, Get One Free" HW pass! This means 2 students can join for the price of 1! Receive unlimited afterschool HW help and enrichment (up to 3 hours) at our Encino center for only $650. - Open M-Th 3:30pm to 8:30 and Sundays 1pm to 4pm

Homework Club at Luv 2 Play Chino

Attention parents and students! Give your child a supportive boost in their studies with our Free Homework Club, designed specifically for elementary-aged children. Every Wednesday afternoon,  friendly and experienced Student Hires staff will be on hand at the Local Community Center to assist with reading, math, and any general homework tasks. Whether your child needs a bit of extra help with their assignments or just a quiet place to focus, our Homework Club is the perfect solution.

Highlights:

• Reading Support: Improve comprehension skills and enjoy fun reading activities.
• Math Mastery: Tackle tricky problems and learn new strategies for math homework.
• Homework Assistance: Get help across all subjects to complete homework efficiently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to enhance their learning, meet other students, and develop new skills in a friendly, encouraging environment. No registration is required—just bring your homework and a readiness to learn!

The Encino Park is located one block west of Balboa Blvd. and includes a basketball court, two tennis courts, a modern children's play area, picnic tables, barbecues, and a Tricycle and Wheelchair Track. The park houses the Encino Parent Co-op Nursery School (818-788-4582). Our facility also includes the Encino Woman's Club.

Friends of Encino Park is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is able to offer wonderful sponsorship opportunities for businesses and great fundraising events to help enhance the Encino Community Center and Encino Park.

CAMP ENCINO:    Camp hours are  Monday-Friday from 9:00a.m - 4:00p.m. Extended care is available from 7:30am-6pm for an additional weekly flat rate.

Day Camp   is offered in the Summer, Winter, and Spring seasons for children ages 5-13 years. Campers have lots of fun learning new skills, developing new interests, making new friends, and enjoying a wide variety of activities including: dress-up days, spirit, singing songs, music, arts & crafts, sports, games, drama, science, weekly special events, special guests, field trips, spirit stick performances, lunch on us every Friday & much more!! 

Theater Camp is offered in the Summer season and is for children ages 8-13 years. Our Theater Camp's main focus is to provide a wonderful summer experience for the children as they participate in a side variety of hands-on workshops such as: production crews, sets, props, costumes, scenery, make-up, sound and lighting.  Campers will also play creative drama games, scene study, character development, movement, learn improvisation, stand up, stage presence, public speaking, critical thinking, cance, experience great field trips and enjoy lunch on us every Friday.

The Rising Stars Homework Club's goal is to help close the achievement gap by exposing younger children to a wide range of learning activities, to help them form bonds with many community volunteers , and to make learning fun. Additional Fees

• One-time enrollment and registration fee of $70 due at enrollment.
• Walk-ins’ are accepted on first come first served basis for $50 per 2 hours
• Late pick up: $10 per child per any portion of 10 minutes after the end of the session.
• No refunds for no-shows, or without 4 weeks prior notice.
• Fees are due the 1st of each month and are late after the 5th. A late charge of $15 will be added.
• Returned checks will be charged an additional $50.

Tuition is due on the first day of each month for the scheduled time. Tuition can be paid by cash or check. We ask that you please respect the schedule assigned to your child. We do not reimburse for absences. For more information, please see the heading "Absence Policy".
