The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

IGNOU extends December TEE 2023 assignment submission date; check new schedule

The december 2023 term end examinations of the university is likely to commence from december 1, 2023 and conclude on january 6, 2024. .

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for submission of assignments for December Term End Examination (TEE) 2023. Students now have time till November 30 to submit their assignments.

Students can find the official notice at the official IGNOU website — exam.ignou.ac.in.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, December-2023 for both ODL and Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been further extended up to 30th November, 2023,” the official notification stated.

The December 2023 Term End Examinations of the University is likely to commence from December 1, 2023 and conclude on January 6, 2024.

Additionally, the last date to apply online for TEE December 2023 is November 10, 2023 (till 6 pm) without late fee. Candidates should select their regional centre and exam centre code carefully. The exam centre will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. No requests for change of centre will be entertained later.

How to submit IGNOU assignments 2023?

• Submit assignments to your study centre or regional centre as per the instructions given by the regional centre. Include your contact information (programme code, course code, enrollment no, email, phone) on assignments.
• If only hard copies are being accepted as per instructions provided by your regional centre, send hand written, signed assignments to the address provided to you. In case soft copies are being accepted during extenuating circumstances such as Covid 19, these must be signed and scanned. If you have opted for SOGDS as your RC, submit your assignments to [email protected]
• Assignments must be submitted as single documents for each course. Do not submit separate pages and do not combine assignments for two courses in a single document.

The university is holding the registrations for IGNOU TEE December 2023 with a late fee of Rs 1,100 till November 10.

IGNOU Identity Card (ID) Download by Enrollment number.

IGNOU ID card can be downloaded in electronic PDF format. To download IGNOU ID card first create student account on IGNOU Samarth Portal. Enrollment number is the default password for downloaded IGNOU ID Card. After confirmation of your admission immediately download ID card with given simple steps.

IGNOU id card is protected with password to avoid unauthorised acces. Step by step text to download IGNOU ID Card is given below. Please note that after download of IGNOU ID card as a new student you must have to do the a list of activity ( Click here ) to complete your programme successfully on time.

How to Download IGNOU ID Card

ID Card is generated automatically by the IGNOU Samarth software after the confirmation of admission. July 2024 admission batch student need to wait for some time to download the same. To download ID card student must login to the IGNOU Samarth Account. For new student it is mandatory to create account on Samarth portal for which the the process is given below.

IGNOU ID card is an authorized official document issued by University after admisison. ID card contains your name, enrollment number, photographs etc. Click here for steps and ID Card download link. ID card also has the facsimile of Registrar's signature on it and other information also on it which proves you are IGNOU student.

To download IGNOU ID card, First student need to create account on IGNOU Samarth portal . If you have already created account on IGNOU Samarth portal then you can download ID card from your Dashboad after login. If you have not created student account then you can refer the below video tutorial on " How to Create Account / Reset IGNOU Student Account using IGNOU Samarth Portal "  then watch the video " How to Download IGNOU ID Card ".

IGNOU ID card has been made available on the the samarth portal from January 2020 admission session onwards . Students of July 2019 admission batch or earlier need to contact the Regional Center for ID card for hardcopy ID Card. Before 2019 admission there was a provision of offline ID card.

Once IGNOU admission is confirmed an  Enrollment number consisting of 10 digits is allocated to the learner. Student should note down enrollment number carefully.

Step to Download IGNOU ID Card If you have the User id and password of your student account then the procedure for downloading the IGNOU ID card is very easy. If you have not created student account then you need to first create student account ( Click here ). You only need to follow given steps to get successfully downloaded your ID card in pdf format. In case you have forgotton password then you can Reset Password easily (steps given below).

Follow below to download IGNOU Identity card.

Step 1 : Go to IGNOU Samarth Portal . Step 2 : Enter Your Correct Username and Password in the field. Step 3 : Enter Correct Captcha Code. Step 4 : then Click on the Login button. Step 5 : After successfully Login, Click on “ Services ” and Select ID Card Download. PDF will be Downloaded, here you need to enter your Enrollment Number as Password to view ID Card. You’re now on the Profile page of your IGNOU Admission and able to view your IGNOU Digital ID Card. You can take a print out of it or can download and save it on your device like Mobile or Laptop.

How to Create / Reset IGNOU Student Account using IGNOU Samarth Portal ?

IGNOU ID Card Use

After downloading IGNOU ID Card it should be laminated and kept carefully. ID card is official document issued for each IGNOU student. Id card is compulsory to sit in the examination hall. Without an Id, card entry is not allowed in the examination hall. IGNOU id card is the roll number (Enrollment Number) and programme details on it. You need to show it while taking convocation Degree. The most important uses of the IGNOU ID card are as follows:

While submitting the IGNOU assignment at the study centre. While obtaining IGNOU study material at the regional or study centre. To appear in term end examination To attend Project Viva Voce . During practical exam at the practical exam centre To Attend convocation function, To obtain duplicate marks card and certificate in case of lost. IGNOU Job Fair, etc

IGNOU Activity list for enrolled students is given below

• Since IGNOU offers distance learning, hence book or study material is sent only for student who has taken admission in ODL (Open Distance Learning) mode. If any ODL student has not received books by post then they can download study material and use till the receiving of hard copy study material. Student who has taken admission in online (OL) Mode will not be provided hard copy book and they need to study with soft copy material on LMS (Learning Management System) portal.
• IGNOU induction and counselling class is scheduled by the Study Center / Regional Center after all the admission form is processed. Student need to attend the class offline / online as decided by Regional Center / Study center. Class schedule is intimated by email / website.
• IGNOU student need to write assignment for each subject and submit assignment at study center before the last date . Keep in mind that each course code has one assignment question paper. IGNOU assignment question paper can be downloaded online. Submission of assignment is mandatory to apply for examination. IGNOU Assignment submission status can be checked online here .
• IGNOU exam datesheet is published online well in advance and student can plan their exam preparation. Student need to submit IGNOU exam form online and pay the examination before the last date. Exam Hall ticket / Admit card is  generated before the 10 - 15 days of examination commencement and student need to download it from the website.
• Many IGNOU Programme has practical component and student need to attend minimum 70% practical class to be eligible in the term end practical exam (TEPE). Practical exam datesheet is published online by Regional Center / Study center.
• After the examination IGNOU result is published on website. The IGNOU Grade card status shows the term end exam result and assignment marks collectively online and shows the course completion status too.
• Student of PG And UG Programme need apply for re-registration (RR) which is also called admission to next year / Semester. IGNOU RR form is accepted in two session every year i.e January and July. After successfully completion of entire programme student can apply for IGNOU Convocation online.
• IGNOU extends Student Support Services (SSS) to its learners via various channels . Any Old or new student can use these support services through online or Regional Center or study center.

Online downloaded IGNOU ID Card contains the QR Code also in addition to the basic details such as name, enrollment number, Programme code, address etc. QR Code contains the several extra details in addition to basic details. It includes admission session detail, Study Center details, medium of study etc. You should always carry ID card when you visit to Regional Center or Study center. The ID card contains the facsimile signature of The Registrar of IGNOU. Manual generation of IGNOU ID Card is ruled out from 2021 onwards.

IGNOU DECE Project December 2023, Guidelines, Submission Last Date – The IGNOU DECE project is one of the important elements for students who are pursuing DECE from IGNOU. It is a diploma course that consists of practical projects also alongside theoretical exams and assignments.

The DECE diploma course of the university consists of four courses that are DECE-1, DECE-2, DECE-3, and DECE-4. Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECE) in its fourth course DECE-4 asks the student to take up a project task.

IGNOU DECE-04 Project 2023

The university offers a number of audio programs to the students of the IGNOU DECE-04 Project . These programs are about organizing a childcare service, setting up a childcare service, and having a conversation with the course’s editor.

There are also some video programs available under the DECE-04 project and these are about planning a crèche or a preschool, narrating stories to kids, making play materials, and spending a day with toddlers.

The students have to prepare their project based on the audio and video programs offers by the university.

Project Guidelines of IGNOU DECE

There are specific guidelines and instructions that the students need to follow in order to complete their DECE-04 project.

• Students need to spend a duration of 30 days in a playschool and have to carry out the activities according to the manual offered to the students.
• The candidates have to prepare an activity plan and a report based on the happenings. This has to be done again according to the project manual offered.
• All the plans and reports have to be compiled altogether and this compilation will become the DECE-04 project file.
• There will be a guide designated to the student under whose supervision the whole project has to be completed.
• If you have any trouble with the guide, you can approach the counselor for further help.
• The project will be evaluated by the guide on the sport, the principal of the school, as well as the Women’s Education Unit of IGNOU.

How To Submit IGNOU DECE Project?

Once the whole process is completed, the project will be evaluated on the spot by the guide as well as by the principal of the respected school. After the evaluation, the student must submit the project online by registering on the IGNOU site’s DECE page.

Registration

To submit the DECE-04 project, the student has to get registered and login on to the IGNOU site in this way.

Step – 1 – Go to the direct submission page by clicking the link https://dece22.ignouonline.ac.in/Dec2023/ .

Step – 2 – Here, go for the Register option if you still need to register on the url.

Step – 3 – On the page for registration, fill up the details of the enrolment number, email, mobile number, and your name.

Step – 4 – Also, you have to select a password here for login details.

Step – 5 – Upload your front face photo and IGNOU I Card.

Step – 6 – Accept the undertaking after reading the guidelines.

Step – 7 – Submit details to complete registration.

If you are already a registered candidate on this page and you are trying to re-submit your edited project, then you just need to Login.

Step – 1 – You will get Login option by visiting the page https://dece22.ignouonline.ac.in/Dec2023/ .

Step – 2 – On the page for Login, type the username and the password.

Step –  3 – Submit the details to login and submit your project.

IGNOU DECE Project Submission Last Date 2023

According to the manual of DECE-04, the project should be submitted before the Term-End Examination which usually happens twice in every year. The last submission date for the DECE-04 Project December 2023 is 30th November 2023. This is the last date for those who are about to re-submit the edited project.

As of now, the last date is 30th November 2023, but it depends upon the university and other factors whether the university will increase the last date or not. If such a change is made, then the students will be notified through the IGNOU portal and the changed date will be displayed on the IGNOU DECE page.

you should talk to your relatives or neighbour/friends who teaches in school wheather he is parmanent teacher or private. He will help you .
