I have been using youtube.com since past four years, I believe. With so many videos about events being uploaded onto it, it becomes very exciting to use it. So, there is this video about Steve jobs and you can hear him. His Stanford speech, his interview about Macintosh and his opinion about how life is lived. It is exciting because it seems as if you are actually interacting with the other person. And then there are video lectures by some great personalities. You get to learn and the best part is that it is for free. You learn because you want to and you enjoy it. I think the freedom that youtube gives is completely exciting.

Even more, people can now upload their videos and if they are able to bring in lot of viewers, google pays them and someone who has talent, it is such a great opportunity. You get to be your own boss and be creative.

My personal opinion is that our lives will revolve around internet in the future and that is for sure. So, we will be able to see automatic cars that work entirely on internet. The address of this website is www.foodnetwork.com. As the name suggests, it is a food-related website, and I found about it a few years ago when I was searching for some unique food recipes online, which I could use to cook some good dishes within a short period of time.

By the way, sometimes I just get bored of eating the same kind of food, so I look for new recipes so that my mother could try them sometimes to prepare some new but delicious meals.

The website contains recipes and food ideas pretty much from all over the world. The contents on the website are so unique and appealing that it would be almost impossible for someone to leave the website without having an urge to cook them sometimes on their own. They are very popular with teenagers who are just jumping from one trending thing to anothe r. Social media is definitely hot all the time, but it is evolving as well . We used to use more of Weibo and QQ , and now it is all about Tik Tok . Times change and technology evolves really quickly. I can’t even remember the names of apps that were popular last year and became obsolete already. On the one hand , I’m happy about the technological development , but on the other … all that effort and work from the developers goes to complete waste 6 months later.

Examiner: What is the difference between the internet and television?

The internet.

The internet is more flexible in terms of its content . There are millions of websites that can provide a niche interest for a person from gaming , to exotic pets and beyond. The internet is also not very well controlled or " decentralized " which means that people who make videos, write articles, or create pieces of entertainment , don't need to consider censorship . (at least in some places)
Content on TV is more structured and it follows some logic and rules . This means that there are limited types of entertainment programs happening and people in our generation get bored quickly. There are more well-designed shows , TV series, or programs like the News or talk shows . TV has a lot of advertising going on all the time between all of these programs.

Examiner: Are libraries still necessary if we have the internet? Why?

Libraries can still provide services, beyond the obvious reading and borrowing of books. Public libraries can be designed as free , accessible public spaces where people organize activities, find like-minded individuals , and learn something new. They can organize courses for different hobbies or skills necessary in the 21st century .

A Case Against

With the development of the internet and the explosion of learning content online, it is very difficult to argue for the existence of publically funded libraries . When everything we need in terms of information is at our fingertips so libraries seem like a strange and isolated area , only older people would go to.

This is a good question. I’ve actually seen it on an exam once, and it’s difficult to say . Libraries definitely have something unique about them – they are quiet , people go there specifically to learn and nothing more, and it’s a safe space for someone who simply wants to read peacefully . The internet kind of provides all that and then more… however the more information a person consumes online , the more confusing it becomes. That’s because the internet has no filter and it has no clear way of providing information on what's right and what's wrong , and so it can lead to bad results while learning. So I still think we need libraries, as long as there are people who would use them regularly .

Examiner: Why do some people like to read the news on the internet instead of getting it from TV?

News on the internet gets published instantly while happening. This allows a person to stay informed 24/7 of the happenings from around the world. In addition , people can comment and discuss the news while happening, and that adds quite a lot of engagement to the news platforms or social media .

Variety of Opinions

The internet provides an unlimited number of people who would try to present or write the news differently from others. This means that a person can compare between different opinions and can get a better, full picture of the problems happening in a day. TV and traditional media tend to present news and information with bias and one-sidedly .

Well on the one hand it is a natural development of technology. The internet provides way more channels of information and people kind of follow things that appeal to them. There are commentators , independent journalists , bloggers , podcasters , video creators , and many other types of individuals who create independent , self-centered , and somewhat unique ways of delivering the news and commenting on recent happenings . On the other hand … there has been this growing distrust of traditional media , as they have been exposed time and time again to misrepresenting news , straight-up lying to their audiences about important and impactful bits of news … And so people are naturally moving on .

Examiner: What are the differences between old people and young people when they use the internet?

Old people use the internet in a very limited way . Although these days there are grandmas and grandpas on TikTok and other social media places, they don't fully understand the platforms , don't do research , don't know how to " surf " the internet , and simply visit 2-3 websites they feel comfortable with . They are also reluctant to try many new internet tools that appear every year.

Young People

Young people tend to change their consumption habits online very quickly. They jump on the latest and hottest types of websites or apps and experiment with new tools available online. This makes them more likely to try something new, but they don't build loyalty towards one website or brand online.

Well as the internet develops at a rapid pace , young people rush to follow the latest trend , the latest drama , or the latest controversy . For those who are older though , they rarely engage with these happenings , and at some times it feels that they are lagging behind , not knowing much about the “ hot ”, “ modern ” or “ trendy ” things online. The way we use the internet is different as well . For us, the younger generation we game , we socialize , we explore new venues … while the older generation mostly reads the news and stays informed with more traditional interests they’ve had from their own life.

Examiner: How does the internet influence people?

People can get highly motivated by watching motivational or inspirational videos and other sorts of content . People can learn tons of skills and knowledge by researching online , and that is really powerful . The internet can be a positive influence if it's used wisely .
We live in times of mass disinformation , fake news , fake advertisements , and fake lifestyle advice . This environment is really dangerous for young people to grow up in , and unfortunately , there is hardly any restriction or control by authorities or parents alike .

There are many direct and indirect ways a person is being influenced . The direct one is obviously right there in front of our eyes – advertisements . Ads are everywhere, on banners , in between text , in text , before, in the middle, and after a video, and so on. We get so many ads it’s ridiculous and obviously , the goal is to click and buy something. The more subtle , invisible way we are influenced is by following and engaging with our interests and groups of people. Slowly but surely we are engaging with these bubbles and while we feel entertained , we are being absorbed within those bubbles and we lose the chance to socialize or explore something new. We tend to stick to the same movies, same hobbies, same games, and eventually , the same news, same celebrities , and the same biases those might express .

The Best (and Worst) IELTS Websites

I started this website in 2016 because I was sick of looking for IELTS materials and finding the same problem: most IELTS websites are run by people who 1) don’t speak English very well, and 2) don’t understand IELTS. There were only a few decent websites and so I thought I would make my own, which is both useful and reliable.

In the past few years, there have been several good websites founded but hundreds of terrible ones. I feel genuinely upset when I visit these websites for two main reasons:

They are hurting people who really need help by providing false information.
Many of them also engage in illegal or unethical activities.

There is not much I can do about this, unfortunately. I try my best to make good study resources but these are often stolen by others, and many people just want to go to the websites that make appealing but totally false promises.

The purpose of this article is to offer a fair and reasonable review of IELTS websites in order that people can better understand what is trustworthy and what isn’t.

I do not want to promote my own website (although I think it’s great 😊) and my only interest in this post is helping people to avoid the worst websites and use the best ones. I will update this post frequently as I find new websites. (If you are a website owner and you want your website added, please get in touch.)

Criteria for Reviews

First of all, let me explain how I have judged these websites. I am going to review them in three areas:

Level of English – this means how well the website owner speaks English. Most IELTS websites are unfortunately run by people who cannot speak English well and they will just teach you pointless vocabulary and incorrect grammar.
IELTS Knowledge – this means how well the website owner knows the IELTS exam. There are some people who have perfect English skills but have great misunderstandings about the actual exam. For example, they do not understand the marking criteria or question types.
Trust – this will refer to whether the website owner has engaged in plagiarism or other forms of theft, as well as unethical practices like making false promises or deliberately misleading you.

Each section will be marked out of 10, so each website will get a total score out of 30. For the sake of convenience, I will list the websites in a handy table and then give a more in-depth review below.

IELTS Website Reviews

Here, I will review each IELTS website individually. I will try to do this fairly. If you have any questions or complaints, please contact [email protected].

IELTS Liz has been around for a long time and is considered by some to be the gold standard of IELTS websites. Her advice is excellent and she is a native speaker of English. She understands the IELTS exam and offers realistic suggestions. She offers a wide array of free resources that are highly reliable, in addition to several paid products such as videos and ebooks. The fact that many IELTS websites simply steal her materials is testament to her expertise.

IELTS Advantage

One of the biggest names in IELTS at the moment is IELTS Advantage, which is run by Chris Pell from England. Their website is pretty good although they do not have the quantity of material that most sites do. However, they more than make up for that with quality. Their courses are highly reviewed and their website and YouTube videos are really reliable. I particularly like Chris’ videos that feature mock speaking tests with IELTS students.

My IELTS Classroom

Oh how I wish this website existed back when I was an inexperienced IELTS teacher! This is my favourite IELTS website (apart from my own 😉) and when people ask me for recommendations, I always tell them to visit this site. It is run by a woman called Shelly, who is a fantastic teacher and a really knowledgeable person when it comes to IELTS. She posts very long, helpful articles about important topics and offers some of the best advice that IELTS students could get. I highly recommend you check out her videos and listen to the new podcast she has started.

IELTS with Fiona

Fiona Wattam runs a useful website that offers a range of blog posts and even courses that can help you with your IELTS preparation. She has lots of video lessons and is very good at explaining both language points and general concepts relating to IELTS. I highly recommend both her website and her social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram, where she posts daily lessons. Like the other top-rated IELTS websites, she makes no false promises and only offers honest advice.

IELTS Charlie

Another decent IELTS website. This one seems packed with good information from a qualified teacher. As a native speaker, his English is very good and his advice also seems realistic and sensible. This is a good website to go for IELTS information and preparation techniques.

IELTS Jacky

This website is really good. Jacky seems like an excellent teacher who provides reliable information about different parts of IELTS and also about learning vocabulary. I can see nothing wrong with this website. If I had to nit-pick (and I should), she uses apostrophes to pluralise, which you should never do. But this is trivial.

IELTS Focus

This website is written by a native speaker, so the English used is good… but it is not perfect. There are some minor errors, like not knowing how to use conjunctive adverbs and randomly capitalising nouns. These are just minor flaws, though, and the website seems great.

This is a very old-fashioned-looking blog that provides a wide range of quite good materials for IELTS preparation. The level of English used is sometimes sub-par, with faulty punctuation quite common, and I am a little put off by the slightly misleading language about how they can help you. Still, it is reasonably good and certainly better than the majority of IELTS sites. They really do have a lot of material, most of which is quite helpful, and they offer things like books and courses. I cannot speak for these as I have not used them.

You probably thought Magoosh was among the very best of IELTS websites and indeed I sort of assumed the same. It’s a huge company with a vast budge and they can hire real experts. Or so it seems. I recently noticed that they are giving out quite terrible IELTS advice in posts like this . Here, they’ve told people to say “There is no doubt/There is no denying that…” which is actually a really poor sentence structure to use. In fact, if you said this you would not be able to get higher than band 7 for Task Achievement. They should know better. However, overall it is a pretty decent company with some great resources.

IELTS Buddy

This is a pretty huge website with lots of resources for all parts of the IELTS test. The level of English used here is pretty good (but there are some mistakes) and the knowledge provided is always acceptable. There is, however, a lot of content there that is slightly pointless… but this doesn’t mean that it’s bad. I think mostly it has been posted for SEO purposes rather than to provide actual value. However, there’s also some good stuff there. This is a generally quite good website, but one thing that puts me off is that there is no author credited. It is hard to trust something anonymous and so focused on simply garnering views.

This is an interesting website from Taiwan. It’s pretty good but the English is slightly unnatural and not all of the advice is perfect. Worryingly, they keep talking about “the three types of task 2 question.” Actually, there are more than three… They really should know this. However, their advice seems pretty solid and I can see no major red flags here.

IELTS Compass

If I had come across this website simply by searching on Google, I would have given it a great score. It is written by an experience teacher who is also a native speaker of English. The advice seems solid and I like that he does most of his teaching over YouTube, which is a great format for handing out advice. He gets some major points deducted for spamming, though. Recently, my IELTS groups have been overwhelmed by bots promoting his website, which is a huge red flag for me. Do not trust spammers, especially when they are so shameless about it.

IELTS Jonathan

IELTS-Jonathan provides lessons for IELTS students, but these have been stolen from other teachers. He is a notorious thief and he should be avoided. His website also contains numerous mistakes and he appears to have a relatively poor knowledge of IELTS or English grammar.

IELTS Material

This is another website that is run by people who do not speak English well. It is full of the most basic errors. For one thing, they do not know how to capitalise words correctly and just pick words totally at random. If you did this in IELTS, you would score a maximum of band 5. That’s not the sort of people you want to learn from. Just look at the errors in their header:

Like most IELTS teachers online, they also do not understand the IELTS exam. You can see here that they have made up an IELTS cue card… but they have included 4 bullet points instead of 3!

The website has been listed for sale on Flippa for several years, indicating that they are less interested in helping students than making money.

IELTS Dragon

Sometimes it seems like these people can speak English very well, but other times they make really egregious errors. Also, they sometimes use fake IELTS questions that are not very similar to the real ones, suggesting that their knowledge of the exam is sub-par. As you can see, even the most important page on the site is written with poor English.

This is a pretty nice website in terms of its layout and I cannot see any stolen materials, so it has some positive attributes. They also post some mildly useful language, although I would not trust them to use it with any great accuracy.

IELTS Master

This person is clearly no master of IELTS. The English used is pretty bad, the knowledge of IELTS displayed is quite weak, and the only good thing that could be said is that he does not appear to have stolen anything and there aren’t too many false claims on the website. This site appears to have not been updated in many months, so perhaps he has abandoned it. All things considered, that’s probably for the best.

IELTS Ninja

This is an Indian company that has a nice-looking website with lots of courses that promise to help you get a high score. However, the language on the website is absolutely atrocious! It indicates that the people who run this company would probably struggle to score band 5. You can see on this page that they have tried to offer an essay correction yet the person who is marking it cannot even speak basic English. They don’t seem to know how to use articles and their comments indicate that they do not understand the IELTS marking rubric. They have also made very embarrassing attempts to cram their articles full of SEO terms in order to win Google rankings, yet their material offers no value whatsoever. They even suggest that they can predict IELTS essay topics, which is a major red flag.

IELTS Fever

This website is written by people whose English skills are very poor. Even the most important pages on the website are riddled with errors. Furthermore, the questions here are made up and do not even sound like real IELTS questions. Avoid this site or you will learn bad English.

Evidence of bad English:

Here, you can see that even on the website’s most important page, they use English that is simply atrocious. If you wrote like this in IELTS test, you would be unlikely to score more than band 6. Elsewhere, they advertise a book about IELTS writing, but the author cannot spell “IELTS” or “writing” correctly. 🙄

IELTS Band 7

The only good thing about this website is that it helps to define irony: The people running this would not come close to getting a band 7! 😂 These people mostly produce sample answers to IELTS questions. However, they cannot speak English well and do not understand the basics of IELTS, so their questions are pure gibberish. They also do not understand the basic format of IELTS questions and so there is really nothing here worth learning. Avoid them or your English will suffer!

IELTS Rewind

Bad English… no knowledge of the IELTS test… and stolen materials. This is another shameless, useless website run by bad people. Just look at this:

They are openly promoting illegal material and they display such terrible English that the website owners would surely fail to get even band 6. Avoid this website!

Another rubbish website. This one contains yet more stolen material and bad English. However, I will commend them on citing some other websites that have created the material they often “borrow.” That’s a little better than others on this list. Still, the advice and language is terrible:

IELTSxpress

Yet another website made by people who can barely speak English and who provide illegal materials made by actual experts. They have stolen books from others (including me!) and illegal made them available. Shame on these despicable people. Moreover, it is absolutely astounding to me that someone would have the audacity to try and teach others about English when they cannot speak it themselves. Look at this:

How could you expect to score more than band 6 for IELTS if you make these sorts of errors? It is clear from their sample questions, too, that they do not understand the basic details about the IELTS exam.

This is another rubbish website. The people who run it don’t even have a basic grasp of English, don’t really understand IELTS, and openly give away illegal material. Here is an amusing example of their incompetence:

Is there an award for the worst IELTS website? This is a contender. More stolen materials, bad English, and general ignorance.

IELTS Practice Online

We have another contender for worst IELTS website! These people claim that they can help you improve your IELTS writing score, but they would definitely score a maximum of 5.5 with English like this:

They are also shameless thieves who steal material from real teachers. They have stolen this essay from IELTS-Simon [link now removed] without any attribution. Their website gets most of its traffic because it offers stolen materials for free. You should avoid these criminals.

Some interviewers ask candidates the most unexpected questions. One of these includes, 'What is your favourite website?'

This creative interview question could take you by surprise if you're not prepared with an answer. Most interviewees will come up with something off the top of their heads and give a response that doesn't reflect professionalism or competence for the role. In a state of panic, they blurt out websites like Facebook or 9GAG, blowing their chances of getting the job.

To help you prepare for this question and avoid any disastrous scenarios , we have put together a guide with useful tips so you can nail your answer at the interview.

Why Interviewers Ask this Question

As irrelevant as this question sounds, it's actually quite the opposite. When employers ask, about your favourite website, they're trying to uncover an array of things about your personality and professionalism.

The websites you read can determine whether you'll fit into the company culture : Are you serious and eager to learn like the rest of the team? Do you like to stay updated on industry trends? Or are you a social media addict with no regard for the latest news?

Interviewers want to know:

What you do with your free time: Employers want to see how you spend your time outside of work and in what ways you like to develop your personal and professional goals . Saying your favourite website is Instagram or Tumblr might show that you like being entertained, but the interviewer may take it as a sign that you waste time on social media and aren't focused on more work-related sources instead.

What your passions are: Do you spend your time studying articles on WebMD, TechCrunch, or Mashable? If so, it shows that you're interested in things that will benefit your daily and professional life, far beyond what you'll learn by hitting up social media or spending hours watching funny videos on YouTube.

What you're willing to do to improve yourself: People who spend a lot of time on useful websites tend to work more on their self-improvement, both in their personal and professional lives. If you spend all of your time on TMZ or Deadline, you're not really showing that you’re interested in the kind of things that will help you get ahead in life – unless, of course, you're applying for a role in entertainment.

Whether you stay updated on trends: Interviewers want to know if your interest in the role extends beyond working hours. For example, if you're applying for a marketing role, they want to know if you read websites like Moz or Hubspot. As an avid reader of industry-related sites, you prove that you like to stay on top of trends and advance your professional knowledge.

Other ways your interviewer could pose this question include:

What websites do you use during your free time?
What websites do you like the most?
Which websites do you visit most often?

How to Prepare a Response

No employer wants to hear that you like BeesBeesBees.com (yes, that's a legit website), nor do they care how much time you spend on dating sites.

Preparing for this interview question before the big day can help you provide an appropriate answer. Here are a few interview tips to avoid being mortified and hopefully land the job of your dreams...

1. Research the Company

To best prepare for this challenging question start by researching the company you're interviewing for. This will help you form a clear understanding of the company culture, operations, staff, and overall mission. You can then select a website that aligns with this information. If you discover that the firm has a team of suited and booted individuals, you're better off choosing a more serious and professional website. On the other hand, if the company’s social media page regularly publishes funny posts, it's safe to go with a site like Mental Floss as your favourite.

2. Research the Interviewer

A smart way to prepare for a job interview is by putting your detective skills in good use and researching your interviewers. Find them on LinkedIn or Facebook and try to nail down their personality. Do they have a sense of humour? Is their social activity always dead serious? You can base your website choice around the character of the interviewer. For instance, you don't want to select a website like BuzzFeed if you're being questioned by the James Bond of employers.

3. Jot Down a Few Websites

Once you have a better idea of the company culture and the person who will be interviewing you, write down some websites to use in your answer. Make sure to select the ones that are related to your job role. Prospective accountants might say The Economist, while teachers might say Scholastic, for example.

Mention informative and educational sites to show the interviewer that you are a hard worker and enjoy building your knowledge base. These are qualities that every employer values and uses to determine whether you will be a good cultural fit .

Depending on the company, you may want to give the impression that you're not all serious, and that you have a fun side, too. Name drop websites that offer entertainment, but also provide a lot of value in terms of professional and personal growth. For example, Upworthy has funny videos, but there are thousands of inspiring, motivational videos, as well. BuzzFeed has a lot of fun pages, but the site offers news, too. Your fun side can reveal the potential to get along with coworkers or add creativity into your work.

Once you have a few websites in mind, you need to make sure that you can support your choice. Be ready to describe how your chosen website boosts your personal growth or professional knowledge.

4. Avoid Interview Mistakes

Before stepping in front of that interviewing panel, make sure you're aware of any potential slipups. There are several mistakes you can make when answering this question. For instance, don't focus on social media. Twitter or Facebook are useful for interacting with others, but they don't represent who you are as a professional hoping to get hired. The safest action plan is to only mention social media if the job role entails it (e.g. a social media manager position).

While websites like YouTube are often used, avoid using this as an answer, unless you mention that you enjoy educational videos. Binging on funny clips all day isn't going to reflect the ideal candidate for a nurse's position, after all.

Finally, you don't want to highlight a website that you know nothing of. Select one that you genuinely use and know enough about to explain your reasoning.

To help you respond to this question in the best way possible, here are a few sample answers:

My favourite website is BuzzFeed. I love to see the latest news in the world of technology, particularly the latest advancements made in computer science and robotics. I've been a computer geek for years, even though it's not my profession. It's fascinating to see where computers are going and how technology is evolving.
While I enjoy the occasional fun video here and there, I spend a lot of time scrolling through sites like The Economist or Financial Times. I'm subscribed to their newsletters, too, so I'm always in touch with current events in the financial world.
Moz is a favourite of mine. I'm always reading the latest news to catch up on SEO advancements as well as their blogs, so I can get a new viewpoint on any changes in the marketing landscape. Staying up to date with this site is what keeps my marketing craving intact. It's actually what encourages me to learn new SEO tactics.
I'm a huge fan of TED Talks. This is where I gain a lot of inspiration and motivation. I find that it helps me push through any personal struggles and it gives me encouragement for my work life, too. There are also a few educational topics on there that enlighten me about business or science.

While it may not be the most common question to come up during your interview, it certainly isn't the hardest question to answer either. Revealing your favourite website during an interview can be pretty easy once you know which one to choose and have sound reasoning behind it.

Be honest about the sites you like, but make sure the answer paints you in a professional light and ultimately, indicates that you'll be the right candidate.

The IELTS speaking section takes place on a different day than the remainder of the session. You can choose the date according to your convenience. What is it.

Well, I am an admirer and freak of digital Gadgets. I love to gather different gadgets that come on the market. Recently, I have bought a new laptop that I will discuss today. I bought it a year ago when my old one had issues in functioning appropriately. I bought an HP laptop with the most updated technology and effective hardware. My new gadget supports most of the latest software too along with having an amazing configuration.

Moreover, my laptop has an upgraded IOS operating system along with Microsoft spheres. I found this gadget a bit expensive to purchase. Now, I can confidently say that it has proven worth the cost as it is functioning so effectively and efficiently that I work for hours now. I purchased it approximately a year ago. I had to replace my Asus laptop with this new one to perform better.

What Do You Use it For?

I use the laptop for a variety of official purposes as well as some personal works. I often use the laptop for finding information on the internet for several projects as well as to communicate with my friends. Listening to music using the laptop is one of my favourite activities. Also, I sometimes work on it to prepare some official documents and love to use it to play games on it as well.

But, I have to confess and say that all the functions of this new gadget are carried out extremely smoothly. I need not wait to execute the elements. Plus, it serves as a source of my entertainment too. My sister and I use my laptop more frequently than any other electronic device, even more than the mobile phone. For every professional and personal work, I frequently open up the laptop and use it conveniently.

How Long have You Owned It?

The laptop has been with me for more than 1 year now. Changes in technology are happening every passing day. The use of the latest software is in demand for faster performance. Everyone is busy with their work and wants great software to make their work easy.

This is the reason that everyone needs to upgrade their computers and laptops regularly to make sure that they are giving good performances. Well, for the same reason, I replaced my old laptop with this new one and found it extremely interesting and convenient. It has excellently worked for me.

This gadget is extremely important to me as I already mentioned that I use this laptop for a list of reasons. The reasons include sorting and writing documents. Also, I use it to keep in contact with my friends, colleagues and family members. I like to write and my favourite gadget is used to maintain my blogs too. To listen to music, watch movies, and for many other important functions, this gadget has proved a blessing to me.

My laptop is an unavoidable gadget that I utilize regularly for different functions. I carry all of my work on the laptop. This is why it is the best companion that I have.

What is it.

Technology is growing to an extent that it has become a part of everyone’s life. It is the greatest invention of this century. Talking about my favourite gadget, I am obsessed with my DSLR camera. I bought it about two years ago when I completed my 12th. I like photography. This is the reason for my graduation in the same field.

I purchased it to record the activities and invaluable moments of my school and friends. Since then, I have never stopped using this modern gadget which is extremely wonderful when it comes to capturing the most beautiful moments of life.

My favourite gadget is the DSLR camera. I wanted to buy it because I am keenly interested in clicking photographs and capturing the great moments of animals, birds, things, and human beings. The name of this gadget is “DSLR”. Talking about the features of DSLR, it is a basic “point-and-shoot” video camera, with a size of about 108 millimetres (or 4.25 inches), and it weighs about 265 grams.

It comes in a shiny black colour. The camera that I have bought is made by Canon and is also immensely affordable. Also, compared to some other basic video cameras in its class, it is wonderful to work with.

Now, the processing of the camera is great for all its users as it offers a zoom range of 5 to 15 times. This camera also has a bigger and better lens for its price. The video resolution of my new camera is 1600 x 1180 which I like personally. I found it hugely attractive and excellent to use.

I have owned this gadget for two years. After buying my camera, initially, I didn’t find much use for it except, of course, recording the activities in my school. But, as time passed, I became interested in using the camera for other purposes and activities. I started loving its functions.

Gradually, I started to carry it outside with me, when I used to travel to any place with friends or family. Also, I started to make videos of nature around me. I quite like wildlife photography when I learned to shoot the insects and unique birds doing their activities.

I, then, bought different lenses for the camera to capture distant and micro things. Well, factually, the more I was using it, the better I was feeling about my camera and my work. After some time, I felt bold and inspiring enough to carry my camera even to some parties, like weddings and birthdays, to capture the fun and happy moments because it started to give me happiness.

Now, I never think that it is awkward to carry my camera, rather, I carry my little camera pretty much everywhere with me like a trusted friend as it gives me strength and happiness.

And Explain Why it Is Important to You?

My DSLR camera is very important to me because it allows me to capture the favourite moments of not only my life but also the lives of other important people and living beings around me, on my own terms and conditions. I am offered to do professional photography for the studios and organizations but I would like to do it for myself right now.

Besides this, my camera also keeps me busy when I don’t feel like doing anything constructive or feel bored. It gives me true happiness from within. Furthermore, the camera allows me to look back to some of my favourite moments from the past when I feel down and depressed. It has become a true companion to me.

IELTS Preparation

The key to obtaining the desired band in achievement is to practice each area with effective strategies. It is often said that practice is the key to perfection. You can be unbelievable if you do the maximum practice. Along with intense battles, a creative task is also required, as a candidate is only given a limited amount of time to complete the exam.

But, you should ensure your confidence in each section which will come when you are highly knowledgeable about the areas. The aspirants can go easy to choose from a wide range of cue card themes and thoroughly rehearse them to begin your speaking category rehearsal. Also, make sure that you point down the thoughts and effective vocabulary to be great at the interview.
