Assignment/retraining questions. Question. Looking for someone that is familiar with assignment limitation codes. I have an airmen that is a FTA. He has a projected overseas assignment that he doesn't not want to go on for a few reasons. He attempted to withdraw his volunteer status but it was denied.
Edit 4: Read the reg. I read AFI 36-2110 an L means declined orders as a first-term airman, nuff said. ALC 8 means you're overseas. Take the assignment, if not your career is essentially over. If you deny an assignment or don't get retainability for one you can't re-enlist or anything else including retraining.
