About CV Raman and Raman effect
C.V. Raman, also known as the great Indian physicist Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman, was born on November 7, 1888, in Trichirapalli, Tamil Nadu. Raman’s father was a physics teacher and therefore grew up loving the subject. He was an excellent student from the start. He passed his matriculation examination at the University of Madras at the tender age of 12 as a bright and promising young man.
He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of London in 1924. In 1928 he adopted the “Raman effect”. For this, he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. He was the first Indian to receive this prestigious award. His fame skyrocketed after receiving this award and numerous renowned universities and institutions awarded him a D.Sc.and Ph.D. Degree on it.
The Raman effect, which occurs when molecules diffract a beam of light, results in a change in the wavelength of the light. A small portion of the light that travels through a clear, dust-free sample of a chemical compound emerges in a different direction than the incident (incident) beam. Most of this scattered light has wavelengths that do not change. The Raman effect is responsible for causing a small portion of the material to have a different wavelength than the incident light.
The above National Science Day speech is in a longer format. Students are advised not to cram the speech. Instead, understand it and acquaint yourself with it and then add your vocabulary to it.

Short Speech on CV Raman and Raman Effect
Cv raman .
CV. Raman (born November 7, 1888, Trichinopoly, India; died November 21, 1970, Bangalore), Indian physicist whose work influenced the growth of science in India. He received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 for the discovery that when light passes through a transparent material, some of the bent light changes its wavelength. This phenomenon is now called Raman scattering and is the result of the Raman effect.
Raman Effect
Other scientists quickly recognized the importance of the Raman effect. Professor R. W. Wood of Johns Hopkins University telegraphed to Nature reporting that he had confirmed Raman’s “brilliant and surprising discovery”…. in all details. It seems to me that this beautiful discovery, which resulted from Raman’s long and patient study of the phenomenon of light scattering, is one of the most convincing proofs of quantum theory.”
Raman had also recognized that his discovery was important to the debate. in physics about the new quantum theory, because an explanation of the new radiation required the use of photons and their change in energy as they interact with atoms in a particular molecule. Raman also knew that there was a more important result, pointing out in his 1930 Nobel Prize speech that “….the character of the scattered radiation allows us to get an idea of the ultimate structure of the scattered substance.”

Long Speech on National Science Day
In India, National Science Day is observed on February 28 each year. The great Indian scientist C.V. Raman made a significant discovery on this day. It is widely observed by the scientific community, the government, and colleges and universities.
The Purpose of the Celebration
C.V. Raman's discovery of the phenomena of light scattering is celebrated on National Science Day . The "Raman Effect" is the name given to this phenomenon. On February 28, 1928, C.V. Raman and K.S. Krishnan, one of his students, made the discovery.
An important development in the study of light scattering was the Raman Effect. It proves that some of the deflected light changes amplitude and wavelength when it passes through a transparent material. He received the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physics as a result of the discovery, being the first non-white Indian to do so.
Across the nation, it is observed in schools, colleges, and universities. Newspapers, radio, television, social media, and other print and electronic media all extensively cover different events. Every year, a theme is chosen, and that subject serves as the focus of the events.

Young authors, scientists, and innovators are recognised and congratulated for their achievements. Overall, National Science Day's main goals are to inspire those involved in research and technology and to advance science in any way that is practical.
About CV Raman and Raman Effect
C.V. Raman, also known as the Great Indian Physicist Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman, was born in Trichirapalli, Tamil Nadu, on November 7, 1888. Raman's father was a physics teacher, therefore he grew up with a liking for the subject. He was a standout student from the start. He passed his matriculation test from Madras University at the tender age of 12 as a bright and promising young man.
He was selected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of London in 1924. In 1928, he made the "Raman Effect" his own. He received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 for it. He was the first Indian to receive this esteemed award. His fame skyrocketed after receiving this honour, and numerous prestigious universities and institutions bestowed D.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees upon him.
The Raman effect, which happens when molecules deflect a light beam, causes a change in the wavelength of light. A small portion of the light that travels through a clear, dust-free sample of a chemical compound exits in directions different from the incident (incoming) beam. Most of this scattered light has wavelengths that are unaltered. The Raman effect is responsible for the presence of a small portion of the material that has wavelengths distinct from those of the incident light.
