Essay on My First Day At School in 1000-1500 Words
My First Day At School
I still remember my first day at school vividly, even though it happened many years ago. It was a day filled with excitement, nervousness, and a little bit of fear. I was just a little kid, barely five years old, and I was about to embark on a new journey in my life – the journey of education.
I woke up early that morning, feeling a mix of emotions. I was excited to finally be going to school like all the big kids I had seen in my neighborhood. I was also nervous about what to expect – would the teachers be nice? Would I make friends? Would I be able to keep up with the lessons? These thoughts raced through my mind as I got ready for the day ahead.
My parents helped me get dressed in my new school uniform – a crisp white shirt, a navy blue skirt, and shiny black shoes. They packed my bag with all the necessary supplies – notebooks, pencils, erasers, and a lunchbox filled with my favorite snacks. I felt like a little soldier, ready to face the challenges of the day.
As we walked to the school, I clutched my mother’s hand tightly, feeling a sense of security in her presence. The school building loomed in front of us, a massive structure with rows of windows and a playground in the front. I could hear the sounds of children laughing and playing, and my heart raced with excitement.
We entered the school gates, and I felt a rush of adrenaline as I saw the bustling corridors filled with students of all ages. The air was filled with the chatter of voices, the ringing of bells, and the sound of footsteps echoing on the tiled floors. I felt like I had entered a whole new world, a world of learning and discovery.
My mother led me to my classroom, where I saw rows of desks and chairs neatly arranged in front of a blackboard. The walls were adorned with colorful posters and charts, and the room had a warm and inviting atmosphere. I found my assigned seat and sat down nervously, looking around at my new classmates who were all busy chatting and getting to know each other.
The teacher entered the room, and all the students fell silent. She introduced herself as Mrs. Smith, a kind and gentle-looking woman with a warm smile. She welcomed us to the class and started the day with a few icebreaker activities to help us get to know each other. I felt a little shy at first, but soon I was laughing and talking with my classmates, feeling like I had known them for years.
The rest of the day passed in a blur of lessons, games, and activities. I learned how to write my name, count to ten, and recite the alphabet. I played with my new friends during recess, running around the playground and laughing until my sides hurt. I even got a gold star for answering a question correctly in class, and I felt a surge of pride and accomplishment.
As the day came to an end, I felt a sense of satisfaction and happiness. I had survived my first day at school, and it had been an amazing experience. I had made new friends, learned new things, and had a lot of fun in the process. I couldn’t wait to go back the next day and continue my journey of education and discovery.
Looking back on that day now, I realize how important it was in shaping the person I am today. My first day at school taught me valuable lessons about courage, resilience, and the joy of learning. It instilled in me a love for education and a thirst for knowledge that has stayed with me ever since.
I am grateful for that day and for all the days that followed, as they have helped me grow into the person I am today. I will always cherish the memories of my first day at school and the excitement and wonder that it brought into my life. It was a day that marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I will always be grateful for the opportunities and experiences that it brought me.

Essay on My School: 2
Do you ever wonder why we forget what we learned in the Colleges or life but still remember those 24 letters of the alphabet that we learned when we were infants? Well, to us, this is a miracle that happened at the start of our educational journey of every student that an infant mind captures the things so long. The school is a blessing in disguise and the proof of the importance of a school in our life. School is the place where we cry going the very day and also cry, leaving the last day.
There is an excellent slogan in Sanskrit, which, when translated in English, reveals that education imparts morality and loyalty to each and everyone and is the reason behind everyone’s success in life. Here people may question that many people are still successful despite being dropouts. Then why education alone is credited for his/her success?
At the very instance, it seems correct. We may take example of Sachin Tendulkar. Despite a school dropout, he has created histories in his life. Correct. but do you know who has been credited for his stupendous achievements? The answer is Shri Ramakant Vitthal Achrekar. This man was Sachin’s first teacher, who taught him how to handle a cricket bat. There are many more examples where it has been seen that the person had not formerly completed the education yet also succeed in their lives with the help of the very first instance that he look the face of school. School plays a crucial role not only in imparting education but also in developing overall personality in the students.
I studied in a school which was near to my home. It was a small school in a small town, not like today’s convent like school. It has only a two-storied building. The infantry and junior sections were on the ground floor while the senior parts were on the first floor of the building. It was those days when I joined the school in lower Kindergarten. My heart was in deep sorrow that I have to be away from my mother for like 4-5 hours. I was weeping and in agony that Dai Maa arrived at me and asked if I need some help from her and then brought me a glass of water and I clean tone asked me to drink. I drank the complete water in one ship out of shivering and afraid of being scolded again. Then she took me to my class and ordered me to be there till the last bell rings. Being afraid of scolding again, I sat quietly and waited for the last bell to ring. After the bell, I hurried as if a prisoner is freed from prison and asked to leave otherwise will be prisoned again. I ran to the Dai Maa and took me back Home. It continues for some days, and I met my first School friend. I, along with him, started the journey of an education getter and stared to exploring what a beautiful place my school was. Surrounded by a garden from all the sides with notice board, “Plucking off a flower is strictly prohibited.” Our Headmaster, a master in biology and zoology, himself took care of the garden, and anyone who disobeys was taken to task.
Not only a fascinating garden, but my school also had an excellent science laboratory where we use to analyze various chemical compounds and sometimes make a blunder, which could break all the furnishes( flask) available with a boom. The teachers of my school were all good and fit for the profession they chose. It is their role in my life that today when I looked back, my eyes fill with tears in their remembrance.
With the teachers who compel me to learn the tasks daily and impel to my success at considerable length. They propel me ahead of anyone else in the journey called life. It is not only the one reason I love my school but also as they noted guardian they overlook and not ignored my wicked deed on the campus of the school’s premises. Was that of my first crush whom I meet in class 8th. Understanding the seriousness of the age group and the attraction towards the opposite sex, my teacher called me and, with much sympathy, promised me that he will help me when the time comes.
Today we both are settled with our partners with the same essence of friendship understand that it was just an attraction and nothing more than that. As this can happen at the age, we were in, but as the time came, both of us understood the reality.
What has My School Taught Me?
My school, like everyone else’s school, taught me to live life to the fullest and enjoy this present movement without worrying about the future. The very first day itself, our Headmaster taught the importance of plants and gardens. It fills my heart with the joy unspeakable to try to sum up what my school taught me. My school life started with the lesson and big lecture in the form of cold-hearted scold by my master over the importance of plantation and why we should not pluck the flower off.
Not only about the greenery had my school also taught me the value and importance of wildlife. Some time it disheartened me over the decreasing number of Tigers in our country. It happened only due to the teaching of my school. My school taught me the importance of life and also the importance of being a livelihood.

How To Write An Essay On ‘Myself’ For Class 1 Kids
Key Points to Remember When Writing on This Topic for Class 1
10 lines on ‘myself’ for class 1, short essay on ‘myself’ for class 1, what will your first grader learn from an essay on ‘myself’.
Essay writing is an important activity for your child. This will improve your child’s creative writing skills. When your child thinks about an essay topic, it improves their thought flow. A solid foundation in grammar is formed when the child arranges those thoughts on paper in short and simple sentences, and their vocabulary improves. When your child writes an essay on themselves, it makes them think about them, which is very important. It helps that they’re able to know themselves a little better and understand their likes and dislikes. Your child will think about their wishes and what they want to become when they grow up.
There are a few points to remember while writing a simple essay about ‘Myself’:
- First, ask your child to form the ideas they want to write.
- The second step is where your child will write down the ideas (that they thought in the first step) and jot them down on paper in short, simple sentences. This will form an outline for the essay.
- The third step will be to express the ideas into short and simple sentences. There’s no need to elaborate too much on any particular idea. This style will help to stick to the word count and stay to the point.
- Next, guide them to write with a proper flow.
- Encourage them to write short sentences with simple words.
Your child can write about their name and age, where they live, family, close friends and the like. They can write about their school, and teachers, and even about their likes and dislikes, hobbies and ambition.
Your child can cover these points while writing an essay about themselves. Here are 10 lines that will help your child write on this topic –

When your little first grader writes an essay, it also develops their fine motor skills, which is very important around that age. When they frame sentences, it also helps in building a strong grammar base. These basics will be useful throughout their life. Writing is a strong skill that will help your child express their thoughts to anyone in the future. When they write about themselves, it makes them think about themselves – their likes, dislikes, people who matter the most to them, how they influence those around them, etc.
The above write-up will help your little one write an amazing piece on thmemselves. We hope your child will enjoy writing their composition now!

My First Day of School as a Senior
My father has a government job which requires him to shift a lot. Even though we stayed in the same place, my father moved from one place to another. After being in the same school for 8 years, my father finally got a permanent posting.
This meant that we had to move to a new city and join a new school. I was very nervous to move to a new city and even more to join a new school. My present school has all my friends whom I cannot stay apart from.
Nonetheless, when we moved to the new city, I became friends with my neighbour . On my first day of school, I joined the fifth standard. The teacher introduced me and I went to sit in my seat.
Many children sitting beside me started talking to me. They were being friendly and cordial. Thus, all my nervousness went away. Upon talking with them, I realized that they are very welcoming.
Some of them also shared their lunch with me. My neighbour also came to meet me during the recess and we played on the swings. On the first day, only the feeling of being an outsider went away. I enjoyed my first day a lot and came back home smiling.
Conclusion of the First Day of School Essay
Thus, the first day of schools is not easy. It is equally difficult for little children as well as teenagers. It is not easy to enter a place with unknown faces, but it is definitely not impossible. We all need to come out of comfort zone someday, so it serves as a great way of reminding us of this fact.
