How to make an awesome Behance presentation?

Presentations are an awesome way to show off your recent projects. You want to make a good first impression, right? In this article, we will point out the key aspects you should focus on while creating your project. For the inspiration purposes, we prepared for you examples of our solutions. Feel free to get some inspiration!

Let's get started!

Describe the process

Show everyone how you did it. It's good to answer the following questions:

What was the task?

What targets did you want to achieve?

What fonts did you use and why?

At this stage, don't forget about making use of the brand book - you are displaying the project you have already done. Don't make changes to it. Talking about the design, use screenshots of your project. Remember about app platforms. Show the final effect on a desktop, mobile, and a tablet.

When someone watches your presentation, you don't want them to feel like "I've seen it all before". If you want to make your presentation look professional, don't use popular and well-used mockups. This rule applies to you especially when you become a more and more advanced designer. Show off your skills!

"No" for using more than two different fonts. Using the proper spacing. Picking the right font colors and more. These are little details that make a difference in when you make a Behance presentation. Add a pinch of your ideas

Of course, the client is the one who sets the rules for how the application or website design should be. However, it doesn't mean that you can't add new interesting elements to the Behance presentation. The background gives you a room for maneuver.

Let's suppose you're preparing a drone app presentation. Think of using a drone animation, beautiful aerial photos etc.

Remember that presentation is not for the client but for your Behance promotion purposes. You can do some tweaks to display the project in an attractive way.

Call to action

At the end of your Behance presentation, it's worth convincing the viewer to give you a thumb up. Use your creativity to intrigue person behind the screen!

When is the best time to post on Behance?

This piece of advice is not directly related to the subject on how to make a Behance presentation. However, it's good to keep the good timing on Behance, no matter if you post a presentation or just a quick shot.

What is the first thing I and many other Designers do in the morning? We all check the Internet for inspirations. Dribbble, Pinterest and of course Behance. When you post your work around 9-10 AM (my time zone is UTC+01:00), there is a greater chance that people will notice and appreciate your work. Try to avoid posting Behance projects in the evening or on the weekends. This is the time when your recipients are less active on Behance.

Behance promotion

So you have already done the presentation. Is this the end of guide on how to make a Behance presentation? Nope! Now it's the highest time for Behance promotion. Designers post thousands of projects daily, so the probability that your work will break through is low. Even if it's outstanding.

Papers (Technical track, Symposium, and Workshop) presentation

• Authors and speakers are encouraged to use the following template for their presentation. 
• Authors are requested to check the program  here .
• The presentation duration per paper is 12-15 minutes (plus 2-3 minutes Q&A) maximum.
• Authors (in-person and virtual) are requested to upload their presentations (PDF or PPT) to EDAS. 

Poster Presentation

• Poster boards will be available in the main lobby. At least one author should attend posters during the poster sessions, either on Monday or Tuesday (the time will be announced later). 
• Poster boards have a height of 100 cm and are 70 cm wide.
• Posters will be attached to the boards through tools that will be available on-site.
• In addition, the authors (maybe) scheduled to present their short 5-minute talk with PPT during the technical paper sessions. Authors are requested to check the program  here .

Behance (Bēhance) is a social media platform that aims “to showcase and discover creative work”.

It is more about sharing work that you have completed or sharing insights and processes on work.

I got decent results after applying these techniques that I mentioned below.

Below are the stats on my profile after applying these steps. I got around 100K+ visitors on my profile.

1. Share your best work only

You have done a lot of work to showcase. But you have only a few seconds to catch the eye of the viewer or potential clients. So I recommend sharing only the best work or I recommend making that type of work on top that you are looking to get hired for.

Quality over Quantity Give your viewers or clients a WOW movement & make them appreciate 👍++

Bonus Tip: I recommend sharing at least 9–13 Project case studies so your profile doesn’t look blank when someone lands on your profile.

2. Keep it simple & clean

The best way to grab attention is to keep it simple as much as possible. the best way to keep it simple is by making a decent 808x632px cover size & make it pop with the best shot inside the project or case study. Let the cover simplicity do the talking for your project & make use of click the peace of ART.

3. Let me know more.

Potential clients like to know more about the past projects that you have done. So that I can know you are the right one to give me a solution.

Adding a stunning detailed description in the project is a must to solve this above problem. By adding a brief description is every part of the project helps to understand your project better.

4. Craft your BIO

Let me know who you are & what you do? Be clear about who you are, what you do, your expertise, and contact details.

Write it carefully since people who will hire you have less time to look into your portfolio. So make it clear & easy to read.

5. Keep it fresh

Update your portfolio by adding a project that you have completed. Personally, I prefer adding 1 project every month to my portfolio. this is a good way to make people know that you are active.

6. Show your expertise

Focus on one niche & be specific about it. No buddy likes to hire a jack of all trades. Don’t be that guy. Be an expert. dig it deeper and rule.

7. Be polite

People are interested in your work the would like to know more or maybe they have a query. Reply to every comment politely & appreciate other's work.

8. Show your process

Feel free to share your process with the world. Behance is great for in-depth process showing. people like to know how you work or how you achieved that result. you can do it by recording a timelapse video, a high-quality GIF, or just some nice shots of sketches.

9. Share it

You have created a knockout presentation with all the efforts by investing days & nights but it all will be a waste if nobody know you have done it. So share it on all of your social media platforms. Ask for Feedback.

No. 10 FSU upset by Georgia Tech on field goal as time expires

DUBLIN — Avery Boyd, Chase Lane and Malik Rutherford stepped in front of their Georgia Tech teammates, who were passing around the Aer Lingus College Football Classic trophy, and decided to let loose.

There was one dance fitting for the moment: an Irish jig.

They delivered. It was their second perfect performance of the day at Aviva Stadium.

Aidan Birr made a 44-yard field goal as time expired, and Georgia Tech upset No. 10 Florida State 24-21 on Saturday in the first major college football game of the season.

The win was Georgia Tech’s first over a top-10 opponent since a 22-16 victory over the Seminoles in October 2015.

Jamal Haynes ran for 75 yards and two touchdowns for Georgia Tech, while Haynes King threw for 146 yards and ran for 54 yards. The Yellow Jackets (1-0, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) were able to control the line of scrimmage and accumulate 190 rushing yards and 5.3 yards per carry.

“Really proud of the offensive line,” coach Brent Key said. “Shocking there, right? Really proud of those guys and how they were prepared.”

Coming off an undefeated regular season and with a remade roster, the Seminoles tied the game with 6:33 left in the fourth quarter on a 15-play touchdown drive that included two fourth-down conversions by DJ Uiagalelei.

Florida State (0-1, 0-1), which was favored to win by 10½ points according to BetMGM Sportsbook, never touched the ball again. Birr came on with 5 seconds left to hit the winner that just stayed inside the left upright.

Uiagalelei completed 19 of 27 passes for 193 yards in his Florida State debut, completing mostly shorter passes until the late fourth-down completions.

Ryan Fitzgerald made a 59-yard field goal, a career long and the second-longest in school history, just before halftime to tie the game at 14. Fitzgerald had a 52-yarder earlier.

The teams had just seven drives apiece. Georgia Tech’s final two drives were among the best, an 11-play, 89-yard touchdown drive and then the 12-play, 49-yard drive to set up Birr’s kick.

“Very limited possessions,” Florida State coach Mike Norvell said. “The importance of every snap in that game was monumental.”

Florida State was able to build four scoring drives but just one in the second half. While Lawrance Toafili and Roydell Williams had rushing touchdowns, the ground attack stalled as Georgia Tech’s defense held FSU to 98 yards on 31 carries.

“We’re not trying to prove anything to anyone,” Key said. “We’re not trying to go out and impress people. All we’re trying to do is play as hard as we can possibly play — as a team, as a family.”

Coming off a 7-6 season, Georgia Tech certainly impressed, sending quite the message to the rest of the ACC.

Florida State fans packed Aviva Stadium for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, the third straight Week 0 opener in Dublin.

Georgia Tech has been upset-minded in ACC play against Top 25 teams. The Yellow Jackets knocked off two ranked ACC opponents — at Miami and vs. North Carolina — in 2023. In 2022, Georgia Tech won games against ranked opponents at UNC and Pittsburgh.

Poll implications

Florida State will tumble in the next AP Top 25, which will be released after Week 1′s games wrap up on Sept. 3.

Florida State: The Seminoles’ defensive line was viewed as one of the ACC’s best but did not record a sack and allowed Tech to run at will.

Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets averaged 203 rushing yards per game (13th in the Football Bowl Subdivision) in 2023 and picked up right where they left off.

Florida State plays host to Boston College on Sept. 2.

Georgia Tech plays host to Georgia State on Aug. 31.
