Master's in bioengineering worth it before PhD? : r/bioengineering
Hi all, I was recently accepted into a Master's program for BME (biomedical engineering) at UMich. I am regretting not applying for a PhD program instead as I will most likely have to take out ~40k federal unsubsidized loans to pay for tuition costs. The BME program at this university seems to be pretty good and my end goal is a PhD.
