मेरा शहर (My City)

मैं मुंबई शहर में रहता हूँ। मुंबई महाराष्ट्र राज्य की राजधानी है। मुंबई की गिनती भारत के बड़े शहरों में होती है।

मुंबई शहर अरब सागर के किनारे बसा है यह व्यापार का बहुत बड़ा केंद्र है। मुंबई को देश की आर्थिक राजधानी कहा जाता है। यह शहर देश के सभी भागों से जुड़ा हुआ है। यहाँ बहुत सारे दफ्तर, बैंक, सिनेमाघर और होटल हैं। चौपाटी, जुहू बीच, गेट वे ऑफ इंडिया, हैंगिंग गार्डन, कमला नेहरू पार्क, सी-लिंक आदि यहाँ के दर्शनीय स्थान हैं। रानीबाग यहाँ का प्रसिद्ध चिड़ियाघर है। यहाँ का म्यूजियम भी देखने लायक है। मुंबई शहर से भारत की आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत होती है । मुंबई शहर फिल्म इंडस्ट्रीज के साथ साथ उद्योग केंद्र के लिए भी जाना जाता है । ऐसा कोई भी बिजनेस नहीं है जो मुंबई में नहीं किया जाता हो ।

मुंबई शहर का इतिहास काफी प्राचीन समय से रहा है ।मुंबई एक ऐसा महानगर है जहां पर कई उद्योगपति अपना मुख्यालय बनाकर पूरे देश में बिजनेस करते हैं । मुंबई को पूर्व में बॉम्बे एवं बंबई के नाम से सभी जानते थे । यह मुंबई के प्राचीन नाम है । मुंबई शहर भारत का सबसे सुंदर एवं सबसे अच्छा शहर है । मुंबई महाराष्ट्र राज्य की राजधानी है । यहां का जो इतिहास है वह बहुत ही दिलचस्पी बाला है । अब हम आपको यह बताने वाले हैं कि मुंबई का  मुंबई नाम कैसे पड़ा ।

मुंबई शब्द दो शब्दों से मिलाकर बना है । हिंदुओं की मां दुर्गा देवी को मुंबा देवी कहा जाता है और आई को मराठी भाषा में मां कहा जाता है । इन्हीं दोनों शब्द से मुंबई नाम की उत्पत्ति हुई थी । मुंबई शहर भारत का सबसे अच्छा एवं कारोबारी शहर है । मुंबई में हर तरह के कारोबार किए जाते हैं । बड़े-बड़े उद्योगपतियों के यहां पर कार्यालय हैं । देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत करने में मुंबई शहर का सबसे बड़ा योगदान है । मुंबई को पैसों वालों की नगरी भी कहा जाता है ।

मुंबई शहर से भारत की आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत होती है । मुंबई शहर फिल्म इंडस्ट्रीज के साथ साथ उद्योग केंद्र के लिए भी जाना जाता है । ऐसा कोई भी बिजनेस नहीं है जो मुंबई में नहीं किया जाता हो । मुंबई में दूरदर्शन केंद्र का सबसे बड़ा ऑफिस स्थित है जिसे फिल्म केंद्र भी कहा जाता है । मुंबई शहर एक बहुत ही सुंदर दीप समूह है । मुंबई की सड़कें एवं मुंबई के आस पास का स्थान बहुत ही सुंदर है । मुंबई शहर फिल्म इंडस्ट्रीज के लिए जाना जाता है ।

यहां पर फिल्म डायरेक्टर एवं फिल्म अभिनेता रहते हैं । यहां पर फिल्मों की शूटिंग की जाती है । फिल्म का प्रमोशन भी मुंबई से किया जाता है । मुंबई के किनारे समुद्री जाल बिछा हुआ है । यदि हम पर्यटक की बात करें तो विदेशों से जो भी पर्यटक भारत में घूमने के लिए आता है वह सबसे पहले मुंबई में जाता है और मुंबई शहर को देखता है । इसलिए मुंबई को भारत देश का प्रवेश द्वार कहा जाता है । मुंबई के समुद्री इलाके से जहाजों के माध्यम से  विदेशों में आयात एवं निर्यात किया जाता है जिससे भारत की आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत होती है ।

मुंबई में सबसे बड़े एवं सबसे अच्छे होटल मौजूद है । मुंबई शहर मे हर धर्म एवं जाति के लोग निवास करते हैं । मुंबई शहर की आबादी तकरीबन 3 करोड़ से ऊपर की है । यदि हम इतिहास की बात करें तो मुंबई शहर का इतिहास काफी पुराना रहा है । पहले यहां पर बहुत से छोटे एवं बड़े दीप समूह हुआ करते थे । इन छोटे एवं बड़े दीप समूह को मिलाकर मुंबई शहर की उत्पत्ति हुई थी । 3 शताब्दी के समय यहां पर मौर्य साम्राज्य का शासन स्थापित हुआ था जो कि बहुत समय तक चला था।

इस दीप समूह के बारे में ऐसा कहा जाता है कि यह दीप समूह पाषाण युग में बसा हुआ था । समय बीतता गया सन 1343 को मुंबई शहर पर हिंदू सिलहारा वंश का शासन स्थापित हुआ और हिंदू सिलहारा वंश के राजाओं ने यहां पर अपना शासन चलाया था । इसके बाद गुजरात के राजाओं ने मुंबई पर अपना शासन स्थापित किया था । गुजरात के राजाओं के बाद यहां पर पुर्तगाली राजाओं का शासन चला था । मुंबई के इतिहास के बारे में ऐसा कहा जाता है कि 16 शताब्दी में मुंबई पर पुर्तगाली का शासन चलता था ।

इसके बाद 17 शताब्दी के दौरान यहां पर ब्रिटिश शासन प्रारंभ हुआ और ब्रिटिश ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी ने सूरत से औद्योगिक केंद्र को मुंबई में स्थापित कर दिया था । मुंबई शहर बहुत ही सुंदर महानगर है । मुंबई शहर की पुरानी एलीफेंटा गुफाएं एवं वालकेश्वर मंदिर दार्शनिक हैं ।यहां पर कई पर्यटक आकर इन गुफाओं को देखते हैं ।

मेरा शहर सिर्फ इतना ही नहीं है जितना मैं अपनी जगह पर रहता हूं बल्कि वह मेरी पहचान का एक अनिवार्य हिस्सा भी है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की अपने शहर की अच्छी यादें जुड़ी हैं और वे हमेशा किसी व्यक्ति के जीवन का हिस्सा बनी रहती हैं। मेरे लिए मेरा शहर एक ऐसा स्थान है जहां मैंने अपने बचपन का अधिकांश समय गुज़ारा है। यह एक ऐसी जगह है जिससे मैं प्यार करता हूं और मेरा सारा जीवन गुज़ारना चाहता हूं। यह एक ऐसी जगह है जिससे मैं जुड़ा हुआ हूं।

निबंध 1 (300 शब्द).

मैं सिर्फ 2 साल का था जब मेरे माता-पिता नोएडा में स्थानांतरित हो गए थे। नोएडा एक नियोजित शहर है जो कि भारत के राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र का एक हिस्सा है। यह शहर 17 अप्रैल 1976 को अस्तित्व में आया था और दिन से हर साल इस दिन को नोएडा दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

मेरा शहर मेरी लाइफ़लाइन

मैं पिछले 12 वर्षों से नोएडा में रह रहा हूं। मुझे अभी भी हमारा पुराना घर याद है जहां मैंने अपने जीवन के 3 साल बिताए थे। यद्यपि मैं उस समय बहुत ही छोटा था पर अभी भी मेरे मन में अपने दोस्तों की यादें ताज़ा हैं जो हमारे पड़ोस में रहते थे।

हम पहले 3 वर्षों के लिए किराए के आवास में रहे और फिर एक सभी सोसाइटी में हमारे अपने फ्लैट में चले गए जिसमें सभी आधुनिक सुविधाएं मौजूद थी। मेरा विद्यालय मेरे घर से सिर्फ 3 किमी की दूरी पर है और मेरे माता-पिता का कार्यालय भी करीब है।

नोएडा अपने बड़े मॉल और शॉपिंग कॉम्प्लेक्स के लिए जाना जाता है। दिल्ली और एनसीआर के अन्य हिस्सों के लोग विशेष रूप से इन मॉलों में अपने परिवार और दोस्तों के साथ अच्छा समय बिताने के लिए आते हैं। मैंने इन सभी मॉल को देखा है और यहाँ व्यतीत किए गए मजेदार समय का आनंद लिया है। हम फ़िल्में देखने, गेम खेलने और परिवार के रात्रिभोज के लिए इन मॉल में जाते थे। चूंकि पिछले कुछ महीनों से मेरे माता-पिता ने मुझे दोस्तों के साथ मॉल में जाने की इजाजत देनी शुरू कर दी है हालांकि वे मुझे मेरे घर से ले जाते हैं और मुझे यहीं छोड़ जाते हैं। इन मॉल की यात्रा बेहद रोमांचक हैं। मुझे विशेष रूप से इन मॉल पर बोलिंग और एयर हॉकी जैसे विभिन्न गेम खेलने से प्यार है।

नोएडा फूड़ीज़ डिलाईट

नोएडा निश्चित रूप से फूड़ीज़ डिलाईट है। आस-पास के कई कार्यालयों और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों की वजह से नोएडा स्वादिष्ट सड़क भोजन का केंद्र है। सभी प्रकार के खाद्य पदार्थ, लखनऊ कबाब से चीनी मोमोस तक – यहां उपलब्ध सभी चीजें बहुत स्वादिष्ट हैं।

मेरा शहर देश के सबसे अधिक रोमांचक शहरों में से एक है। सब कुछ यहाँ बहुत मज़ेदार है। मैं चाहता हूं कि यहां की सरकार महिला सुरक्षा को भी मजबूत करे।

लखनऊ शहर में मेरा जन्म हुआ है। यह वह जगह है जहां मेरा परिवार और विस्तारित परिवार रहता है। जब मैं 10 साल का था तब से हम यहाँ रह रहे हैं लेकिन लगभग 2 साल पहले हमें मेरे पिताजी के व्यवसाय की वजह से राजस्थान में स्थानांतरित होना पड़ा। मैं और मेरे माता-पिता उदयपुर, राजस्थान में रहने लगे लेकिन मेरे दादा दादी लखनऊ में ही रहते थे। हालांकि मेरे पिता की परियोजना पूरी हो चुकी है और जल्द ही हम लखनऊ लौट जाएंगे। मैं अपने तेरहवें जन्मदिन को अपने ही शहर में मनाऊंगा और इसके बारे में मैं बेहद उत्साहित हूं।

लखनऊ की मेरी प्रारंभिक यादें

हम एक संयुक्त परिवार में रहते थे। मैं अपने माता-पिता और दादा दादी के साथ रहता था। लखनऊ की मेरी शुरुआती यादें मेरे दादा-दादी, उनकी कहानियों, लखनऊ की सड़कों और आसपास के बाजारों की सप्ताहांत यात्राओं से संबंधित हैं। मुझे याद है कि मैं सुबह दादाजी के साथ घूमने जाता था जहाँ वे अपने बचपन के अनुभवों के बारे में बताते थे। मुझे बोगनविले प्लांट की ताजगी आज भी याद है जो हमारे पिछवाड़े में लगा हुआ था। मुझे अपनी दादी के साथ शाम को सुंदर सफेद संगमरमर मंदिर पर जाना आज भी याद है। मैं हमारे पड़ोस में सड़क की दुकान पर ताजा तैयार कबाब परमानों की खुशबू आज भी महसूस करता हूँ। अपने माता-पिता के साथ बाज़ार में सप्ताहांत की यात्राओं की याद मेरे जेहन में आज भी ताज़ा हैI हमने खरीदारी की और साथ में खाना खायाI ऐसा करने में हमें बहुत मज़ा आया।

लखनऊ में मेरा पसंदीदा स्थान

लखनऊ अपने बाजारों, अपने शानदार भोजन और सुंदर स्मारकों के लिए जाना जाता है। लखनऊ में मेरा पसंदीदा स्थान इमाम बारा, मरीन ड्राइव, हज़रत गंज बाजार और भूतनाथ बाजार है। मेरे जेहन में इन जगहों की बहुत यादें ताज़ा हैं।

मैंने कई बार इमाम बारा का दौरा किया है। पहली बार जब मैं अपने माता-पिता के साथ इस जगह पर गया था तब मैं बहुत छोटा था। कुछ साल बाद मैंने अपने स्कूल भ्रमण की यात्रा के रूप में इस जगह का दौरा किया। हम उस स्थान भी गए जब मेरी मामी और ममेरे भाई हमारे पास आए थे। मैं इमाम बारा बार-बार जाता हूं और अभी भी इससे बोर नहीं हुआ हूँ।

हम अक्सर शाम में मरीन ड्राइव जाते थे। नदी की तरफ टहलना बेहद मनोरंजक था। मुझे अपनी मां के साथ भूतनाथ और हज़रत गंज बाजार में खरीदारी करना बहुत पसंद थाI हम दोनों प्यार से खरीदारी करते हैं और विभिन्न प्रकार की चीज़ों को खरीदते थे जो वाकई अद्भुत थीI

मैं नवाबों के शहर में वापिस जाने का इंतजार नहीं कर सकता। मैं लखनऊ के स्वादिष्ट कबाब और कोरमा खाने के लिए तरस रहा हूं। मैं शहर में अपनी सभी पसंदीदा जगहों पर जाकर अपने पुराने दोस्तों से मिलना चाहता हूं।

मैं चंडीगढ़ में रहता हूं। मैं यहाँ पैदा हुआ और बड़ा हुआ तथा मुझे इस जगह की हर चीज़ पसंद है। हमारे देश में सबसे सुंदर मेरा शहर है। यह भारत में सात संघ शासित प्रदेशों में से एक है और यह पंजाब और हरियाणा दोनों की राजधानी भी है।

शहर का इतिहास और उत्पत्ति

चंडीगढ़ भारत का पहला योजनाबद्ध शहर है। इसकी उत्पत्ति स्वतंत्रता के बाद हुई थी। भारत के विभाजन के दौरान पंजाब को दो भागों में बांटा गया था। पंजाब की राजधानी लाहौर को नवगठित पाकिस्तान का एक हिस्सा बनाया गया जिससे राज्य के दूसरे हिस्से के पास कोई राजधानी नहीं रही। पंजाब को राजधानी देने के उद्देश्य से चंडीगढ़ की योजना बनाई गई थी। 1966 में पूर्वी पंजाब से एक नया राज्य बनाया गया था। इसे हरियाणा के रूप में जाना जाने लगा। चंडीगढ़ शहर पंजाब और हरियाणा की राजधानी के रूप में कार्य करता है।

चंडीगढ़ शहर – योजनाबद्ध और संगठित

चंडीगढ़ एक अच्छी तरह से योजनाबद्ध के तहत बनाया जाने वाला शहर जाना जाता है। दुनिया भर में इसके डिजाइन और वास्तुकला के लिए इसकी सराहना की जाती है। चूंकि यह तत्कालीन भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू के सपनों का शहर था। अमेरिकन आर्किटेक्ट अल्बर्ट मेयर को विशेष रूप से इसे डिजाइन करने के लिए कहा गया था। लोकप्रिय फ्रांसीसी वास्तुकार ले कोर्बुज़िए ने विभिन्न इमारतों की रचना की और शहर की वास्तुकला में योगदान दिया। शहर को विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में बांटा गया है और प्रत्येक क्षेत्र का अपना बाजार और आवासीय क्षेत्र है। शहर में सुंदर पेड़ों की एक किस्म को एक साथ अच्छी तरह से लगाया गया है।

चंडीगढ़ का मुख्य आकर्षण सुखना झील है जो सेक्टर 1 में बनी एक कृत्रिम झील है। यह 1958 में बनाई गई थी और तब से शहर में सबसे लोकप्रिय स्थानों में से एक रही है।

जिस तरह से यह बनी थी उस तरह के व्यवस्थित दृष्टिकोण के साथ चंडीगढ़ के लोगों ने इसे बनाए रखा है। न केवल शहर को अच्छी तरह से डिजाइन किया गया है बल्कि यह हर तरह से बहुत साफ भी रखा जाता है। जैसा कि देश के अन्य भागों में कूड़ा देखा जाता है वैसा आपको इस शहर में कोई कूड़ा नहीं मिलेगा। शहर में यातायात पुलिस अत्यंत सतर्क है। कोई भी यहां यातायात नियमों को तोड़ने की हिम्मत नहीं कर सकता। प्रत्येक स्तर पर अनुशासन बनाया रखा जाता है। लोग यहां शांति और सद्भाव में रहते हैं।

सुखना झील – मेरा पसंदीदा स्थान

शहर में मेरा पसंदीदा स्थान निश्चित रूप से सुखना झील है। यह जगह दिन में देखने लायक होती है। सुबह का वातावरण शाम को पूरी तरह से अलग होता है। सुबह में यह जगह शांत और ताज़ी हवा से भर जाती है। यह आराम करने और खेलने का सबसे अच्छा स्थान है। शाम को यहाँ नाव की सवारी का आनंद ले रहे लोगों और नाश्ते करने वाले लोगों की भारी भीड़ होती है। बच्चों के लिए इलेक्ट्रॉनिक झूलों को भी स्थापित किया गया है। यह जगह शाम के वक़्त लोगों की हलचल के साथ भर जाती है। मित्रों और साथियों के साथ बाहर जाने के लिए यह अच्छी जगह है। मैं सुबह में जल्दी और शाम को इस जगह पर जा सकता हूं। जब यह जगह शांत हो जाती है और जब यह लोगों से भरी होती है तब मैं इसे प्यार करता हूँ।

चंडीगढ़ सिर्फ मेरा शहर ही नहीं है बल्कि यह मेरी जीवन रेखा भी है। मैं यहां अपने सारा जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहता हूं। मुझे नहीं लगता कि मैं किसी अन्य शहर में इतनी खुशी और शांति से जिंदगी जीने में सक्षम हो पाउँगा।

जब मैं 3 साल का था तब से मैं दिल्ली में रहता हूं और मैं इस शहर को बहुत प्यार करता हूं। यहां जीवन बहुत तेज़ है, यहां लोग जोश से भरे हुए हैं और जो भोजन आप यहां प्राप्त करते हैं वह बहुत लज़ीज़ है। भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली का अतीत ऐतिहासिक और सुंदर है।

दिल्ली का ऐतिहासिक अतीत

दिल्ली का इतिहास 12वीं शताब्दी का है। यह केवल भारत में ही नहीं बल्कि दुनिया भर में सबसे पुराने बसे शहरों के रूप में जाना जाता है। दिल्ली में इब्राहिम लोदी, जहीरुद्दीन मुहम्मद बाबर, शेर शाह सूरी, पृथ्वी राज चौहान, कुलाब-उद-दीन अयबक, जलाल-उद-दीन फिरोज खिलजी, शाह आलम बहादुर शाह प्रथम और अकबर शाह द्वितीय समेत अनेक शक्तिशाली राजाओं ने शासन किया है। शहर को विभिन्न सम्राटों द्वारा कई बार तहस-नहस किया गया और फिर से बनाया गया।

यह माना जाता है कि पांडव भी देश के इस हिस्से में रहते थे। उस युग के दौरान दिल्ली शहर इंद्रप्रस्थ नाम से जाना जाता था। कहा जाता है कि उस समय के दौरान पुराने किले का निर्माण किया गया था।

दिल्ली के सुंदर स्मारक

दिल्ली अपने सुंदर स्मारकों के लिए जाना जाता है। शताब्दियों से यहाँ कई शानदार स्मारक स्थापित किए गए हैं। कई नए भवनों का निर्माण बाद में किया गया है और वे बहुत शानदार भी हैं। दुनियाभर के पर्यटकों ने इन स्मारकों को देखने के लिए दिल्ली की यात्रा की है। यहां मेरे शहर के कुछ सबसे लोकप्रिय स्मारकों पर एक नजर डाली गई है:

लाल किला दिल्ली में सबसे पुराना स्मारकों में से एक है। लाल बलुआ पत्थर से बने किले में विभिन्न संग्रहालय शामिल हैं। 16वीं शताब्दी में मुगलों द्वारा वास्तुकला का यह शानदार नमूना स्थापित किया गया था। मुग़ल सम्राट लगभग 200 वर्षों तक यहां रहे थे।

• हुमायूँ का मकबरा

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि हुमायूं का मकबरा अद्भुत ताजमहल की प्रतिकृति है। यह लाल बलुआ पत्थर और सफेद संगमरमर से बना है। कब्र इस्लामी वास्तुकला की फारसी शैली का एक उदाहरण है। कब्र 47 मीटर ऊंची और 91 मीटर चौड़ी है और सुंदर फारसी-शैली वाले बगीचे से घिरी हुई है।

• लोटस टेम्पल

जैसा कि नाम से पता चलता है यह मंदिर कमल के आकार में बनाया गया है। इसमें सफेद संगमरमर से बनी 27 पंखियां हैं। इसमें नौ दरवाजे हैं जो मुख्य हॉल में खुलते हैं। इसकी क्षमता एक बार में 2500 लोगों को समायोजित करने की है। यह शानदार भवन काफी बड़ा है।

लोटस टेम्पल पूजा का एक घर है लेकिन यह हर धर्म से संबंधित लोगों के लिए खुला है।

मैं इन सभी जगहों पर गया हूं और इन्हें बार-बार फिर से देखना चाहता हूं। मेरे पास इन जगहों की सुंदर यादें हैं।

ऐतिहासिक स्मारकों के अलावा दिल्ली में कई जगहों के आसपास भी खरीदारी करने के लिए बाज़ार भी शामिल हैं। यह निश्चित रूप से दुकानदार को खुशी दे सकता है। मुझे अलग-अलग बाज़ारों में जाना अच्छा लगता है जो मुझे अच्छी चीजें खरीदने का अवसर ही नहीं देते हैं बल्कि मुझे स्ट्रीट फ़ूड का आनंद लेने का मौका भी देते हैं। मैं दिल्ली के अलावा कहीं रहने की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकता हूं।

मुंबई भारत के प्रमुख मेट्रो शहरों में से एक है। यह महाराष्ट्र की राजधानी है। यह भारत के कई घनी आबादी वाले शहरों में से एक है। यह सिर्फ एक तटीय शहर है। यह भारत के पश्चिमी तट पर स्थित है। यह फिल्म निर्माण का केंद्र है। इसे भारत की वाणिज्यिक राजधानी के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।

मुंबई मध्यम जलवायु क्षेत्र में स्थित है। यहां का मौसम पूरे साल खुशनुमा रहता है। यह न तो बहुत ठंडा है और न ही बहुत गर्म। उस समय भी जब पूरा उत्तर भारत भीषण गर्मी की चपेट में है, मुंबई का मौसम सुहावना है। खासतौर पर बीच पर तो इसका मजा ज्यादा आता है। जुहू बीच पर भीड़ है। इसी वजह से मुंबई को फिल्म निर्माण का केंद्र बनाया गया है।

शहर क्या है?

शहर को अंग्रेजी भाषा में सिटी कहा जाता है। यह एक ऐसी जगह होती है, जहां पर जन संख्या काफी अधिक मात्रा में होती है, क्योंकि अक्सर ग्रामीण इलाके के लोग पलायन करके रोजी रोजगार के लिए या फिर नौकरी के लिए शहर की तरफ ही जाते हैं।

शहर में अधिकतर मकान पक्के होते हैं और लोगों की आमदनी भी अच्छी खासी होती है। शहर में गरीब वर्ग के लोग भी निवास करते हैं, साथ ही मिडिल क्लास और अमीर वर्ग के लोग भी निवास करते हैं।

शहरों में रहने वाले अधिकतर लोग अच्छी पढ़ाई लिखाई वाले होते हैं और वह अपने अपने इलाके में सफल व्यक्ति होते हैं। शहरों में रोड काफी चौड़े होते हैं परंतु इसके बावजूद अक्सर लोगों को ट्रैफिक जाम से परेशान होना पड़ता है।

दुनिया में सबसे बड़े शहर की लिस्ट में जापान देश के टोक्यो शहर को शामिल किया गया है जहां की टोटल जनसंख्या 37 मिलियन के आसपास में है।

टोक्यो सिटी देखने में काफी खूबसूरत है और वहां पर घूमने के लायक भी कई मनमोहक जगह उपलब्ध है। हमारे भारत देश में मेट्रो सिटी के तौर पर दिल्ली, मुंबई, चेन्नई, कोलकाता का नाम शामिल है।

आधुनिक भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली प्राचीनकाल से ही लोगों के आकर्षण का केंद्र रही है. दिल्ली भारत का दिल है. यहाँ अनेक दर्शनीय, ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक एवं सांस्कृतिक स्थल हैं जो अपने दामन में कला, सभ्यता, संस्कृति तथा इतिहास समेटे हुए हैं.

दिल्ली कितनी ही बार उजड़ी और बसी हैं. दिल्ली के हर कोने में पुराने खंडहर अपने प्राचीन अस्तित्व एवं वैभव की याद दिलाते हैं. महाभारत काल में इसे इंद्रप्रस्थ कहा जाता था, जिसका निर्माण युधिष्ठिर ने करवाया था.

आठवीं शताब्दी में राजा अंगपाल ने इसे अपनी राजधानी बनाया, इसके पश्चात पृथ्वीराज चौहान, मुहम्मद तुगलक और मुगलों ने सजाया संवारा.

दिल्ली के अनेक स्मारक विभिन्न काल तथा राजाओं के स्मृति चिह्न हैं. पुराना किला पांडवों के शासन की याद दिलाता हैं, तो लालकोट का दुर्ग पृथ्वीराज के समय का स्मारक हैं.

तुगलकाबाद तुगलक वंश तो कुतुबमीनार, फिरोजशाह कोटला, हुमायूं का मकबरा, जामा मस्जिद मुस्लिम सभ्यता के प्रतीक हैं. इसके अलावा जन्तर मन्तर, बिड़ला मंदिर, लोट्स टेम्पल, राष्ट्रीय भवन संसद भवन, चिड़ियाघर, नेहरू म्यूजियम आदि अनेक दर्शनीय स्थल हैं.

दिल्ली का लाल किला एक ऐतिहासिक दर्शनीय स्थल हैं. इसके अंदर नौबतखाना, दीवान ए खास, दीवान ए आम देखने योग्य हैं. और जामा मस्जिद विश्व की सबसे बड़ी मस्जिदों में से एक हैं.

इसी प्रकार कुतुबमीनार अपनी ऊँचाई एवं भवन निर्माण कला से पर्यटकों का दिल मोह लेती हैं. दिल्ली में अत्यंत प्राचीन लौह स्तम्भ हैं, जिस पर कभी जंग नहीं लगती.

जन्तर मन्तर ज्योतिष शास्त्र पर निर्मित एक अद्भुत इमारत हैं. इसे सवाई मानसिंह ने बनवाया था. इससे दिन में समय की जानकारी प्राप्त होती हैं, तो रात में नक्षत्रों की गणना की जाती हैं.

पुराना किला के समीप बने चिड़ियाघर को देखने हजारों पर्यटक प्रतिदिन आते हैं. इसमें देश विदेश से लाए गये पशु पक्षियों को देखने का सुअवसर मिलता हैं.

इसी प्रकार लोट्स टेम्पल आधुनिक भवन निर्माण कला का अद्भुत नमूना हैं अंग्रेजीकाल  निर्मित कनाट प्लेस, इंडिया गेट, गोलाकार संसद भवन, राष्ट्रपति भवन आदि भी विशेष आकर्षण के केंद्र हैं.

इस प्रकार मेरे दिल्ली शहर में अनेक दर्शनीय स्थल हैं, जो ज्ञान का स्रोत होने के साथ ही संस्कृति एवं सभ्यता के द्योतक हैं. ये स्थल दिल्ली की सुन्दरता में चार चाँद लगाते हैं और उसके ऐतिहासिक महत्व को बढ़ाते हैं.

मेरे शहर का नाम वडोदरा शहर है जो कि देश के गुजरात राज्य में स्तिथ है। बड़ोदरा सिर्फ एक शहर ही नहीं है बल्कि मेरे सपनों का शहर है क्योंकि इसी शहर ने मेरे पिताजी को रोजगार दिया था और इसी से मेरी पढ़ाई लिखाई भी हुई है।

 इस प्रकार मेरी बहुत सारी यादें बड़ोदरा शहर के साथ जुड़ी हुई है। वडोदरा शब्द वाटोदर बर्ड से बना हुआ है जिसका मतलब होता है बरगद का पेड़, जिसकी कहानी है कि वडोदरा शहर गुजरात में विश्वमित्री नदी के किनारे पर मौजूद है और इस नदी के किनारे मिले हुए कुछ अवशेष बताते हैं कि विश्वमित्री नदी के आसपास पहले बहुत सारे बरगद के पेड़ होते थे। इसलिए आगे चलकर के इस शहर का नाम साल 1971 में वडोदरा पड़ गया।

बड़ोदरा शहर जाने के लिए भारत के किसी भी कोने से आपको ट्रेन मिल जाएगी। अगर आपको बड़ोदरा आना है तो आप कुछ ट्रेन को पकड़कर के डायरेक्ट बड़ोदरा आ सकते हैं।

मेरे बड़ोदरा शहर में एयरपोर्ट भी है जहां पर भारत के ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशों के भी कई विमान आते हैं। इस प्रकार वडोदरा शहर में रेल, बस और हवाई जहाज की अच्छी कनेक्टिविटी है।

बड़ोदरा गुजरात का आईटी हब कहा जाता है क्योंकि बड़ोदरा में ही आईटी की कई फेमस कंपनी और उनके ऑफिस मौजूद हैं। इसके अलावा विश्व प्रसिद्ध महाराजा सयाजीराव गायकवाड यूनिवर्सिटी भी बड़ौदा में ही है, जहां पर पढ़ने के लिए विदेशों के साथ-साथ इंडिया के भी अलग-अलग राज्यों से विद्यार्थी आते हैं।

हमारा वडोदरा शहर स्वच्छता में भी काफी आगे हैं और लगातार ये स्वच्छता में अपनी स्थिति को सुधार रहा है। बड़ौदा शहर के बीच में ही सूरसागर तालाब स्थित है जहां पर भोलेनाथ की बहुत ही बड़ी खड़ी हुई प्रतिमा स्थापित है।

वडोदरा शहर को संस्कारी नगरी भी कहा जाता है। यहां पर मौजूद इंडस्ट्रियल सिटी भारत की इकोनॉमी में बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण किरदार अदा करती हैं। जमशेदजी टाटा जैसे महान उद्योगपति भी वडोदरा शहर से ही संबंध रखते हैं। 

वडोदरा शहर में हैंडीक्राफ्ट, टेक्सटाइल और फर्नीचर बिजनेस काफी जोर-शोर से चलता है, साथ ही हमारे बड़ोदरा शहर के लोग खाना खाने के भी काफी शौकीन है। इसलिए आपको वडोदरा शहर में रेस्टोरेंट और होटल की भी भरमार मिल जाएगी।

बड़ोदरा शहर में घूमने लायक कई जगह है, जिसमें प्रसिद्ध सयाजीराव गार्डन, लक्ष्मी विलास पैलेस, काला घोड़ा इत्यादि है। बड़ोदरा शहर से 50 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर विश्व प्रसिद्ध माता काली जी का पावागढ़ मंदिर भी स्थित है जो की ऊंची पहाड़ियों पर बसा हुआ है।

इस मंदिर की अपनी एक अलग ही महिमा है। यह मंदिर माता पार्वती जी के 52 शक्तिपीठों में गिना जाता है जहां पर दर्शन करने के लिए लोगों का तांता लगा रहता है।

बड़ोदरा शहर का प्रसिद्ध स्ट्रीट फूड दाबेली,वडापाव, सेव उसल, फाफड़ा जलेबी, कचोरी के अलावा चाइनीस और मैक्सिकन फूड है जो कि खाने में बहुत ही टेस्टी लगते हैं। इसीलिए तो बड़ोदरा शहर में रात में भी आपको खाने पीने की दुकानों पर भीड़ दिखाई देगी।

अगर आपको शॉपिंग करने का शौक है तो आपको शॉपिंग करने का भी पूरा मजा बड़ोदरा शहर में आने वाला है क्योंकि बड़ौदा शहर में मांडवी बाजार, कपड़ा मार्केट, पानीगेट, चार दरवाजा विस्तार यह कुछ ऐसे इलाके हैं जहां पर आपको अच्छा सामान काफी कम कीमत में प्राप्त हो जाएंगे।

हमारे बड़ोदरा शहर की एक खास बात यह भी है कि हमारे बड़ोदरा शहर के पास अपनी खुद की क्रिकेट टीम है जिसमें महत्वपूर्ण खिलाड़ी हार्दिक पांड्या, युसूफ पठान, इरफान पठान और नयन मोंगिया जैसे खिलाड़ी खेल चुके हैं।

यूसुफ पठान और इरफान पठान का तो घर भी वडोदरा शहर में ही है। इसी शहर में विभिन्न प्रकार की क्रिकेट एकेडमी भी मौजूद है, जहां पर क्रिकेट में जाने हेतु बच्चे प्रैक्टिस करते रहते हैं।

शहर की चकाचौंध अक्सर ही लोगों को आकर्षित करती है और शहर एक ऐसी जगह होती है, जहां पर व्यक्ति को यह लगता है कि वह अपने सपनों को साकार कर सकता है।  गांव तो सो जाता है परंतु शहरों के बारे में कहा जाता है कि शहरों की सड़कें हमेशा जागती रहती है।

शहरों में आपको 24 घंटे गाड़ियां और व्यक्ति रोड पर चलते हुए दिखाई देते हैं। मैं भी एक ग्रामीण इलाके से हू परंतु अब मैं भी एक शहर में रह रहा हूं जिसका नाम बड़ौदा है जो कि भारत देश के गुजरात राज्य में मौजूद है।

मेरे शहर के बिल्कुल बीचो बीच में से एक बहुत ही बड़ी नदी गई हुई है, जिसका नाम विश्वामित्र नदी है। इस नदी में काफी खतरनाक मगरमच्छ पाए जाते हैं। बरसात के मौसम में इस नदी में भयंकर बाढ़ आती है जिससे आसपास के इलाके पानी से लबालब हो जाते हैं। हालांकि इसके बावजूद इस नदी में अक्सर धार्मिक कार्यक्रम होते रहते हैं।

इस नदी के पानी की वजह से शहर के लोगों को पीने का पानी मिलता है क्योंकि नगर निगम के द्वारा नदी के पानी को फिल्टर किया जाता है और उसके बाद नलों के द्वारा लोगों को पानी दिया जाता है, साथ ही इस नदी के पानी का इस्तेमाल खेतों में सिंचाई करने के लिए भी होता है जिससे किसानों की फसल लहलाती है।

मेरे शहर में एक म्यूजियम भी स्थित है जहां पर इतिहास से संबंधित कई वस्तुएं रखी गई है। इस म्यूजियम में हम कई बार घूमने के लिए गए थे। म्यूजियम में हमें ऐसी कई चीजें देखने को मिली है जो अपने आप में अद्भुत है।

यह म्यूजियम हमारे शहर के बीच में ही स्थित है। म्यूजियम के अंदर हमारे शहर के इतिहास से संबंधित कई जानकारियों को हमें जानने का मौका मिलता है।

इसके अलावा म्यूजियम में कई ऐतिहासिक मूर्तियां और फोटो भी रखी गई है, साथ ही यहां पर कई ताम्रपत्र भी रखे गए हैं जिन पर अलग-अलग जानकारी लिखी गई है।

मेरे शहर में दुनिया की टॉप यूनिवर्सिटी में से एक महाराजा सयाजीराव यूनिवर्सिटी भी मौजूद है जिसे संक्षेप में एमएस यूनिवर्सिटी कहा जाता है।

इस यूनिवर्सिटी में सिर्फ मेरे शहर के ही नहीं बल्कि गुजरात के अलग-अलग राज्यों से विद्यार्थी पढ़ाई करने के लिए आते हैं। इसके साथ ही भारत के अलग-अलग राज्यों से विद्यार्थी पढ़ाई करने के लिए आते हैं।

मेरे शहर में चारों तरफ पक्के रोड का जंजाल है। जिस प्रकार ग्रामीण इलाके में कच्चा रोड होते हैं वैसे रोड हमारे शहर में नहीं है। हमारे शहर के नगर निगम को वडोदरा महानगर पालिका कहा जाता है जिसके ऊपर शहर की साफ सफाई की जिम्मेदारी होती है।

मेरे शहर में खेल खेलने के लिए स्टेडियम भी बना हुआ है जिसका नाम मां शारदा स्टेडियम है। इस स्टेडियम में कई बार क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का आयोजन भी होता है साथ ही यहां पर वॉलीबॉल का मैच भी खेला जाता है और बास्केटबॉल का खेल भी खेला जाता है। यह गवर्नमेंट स्टेडियम है। इसीलिए यहां पर अक्सर खेल होते ही रहते हैं।

मेरे शहर में एक मेडिकल कॉलेज भी मौजूद है जो कि गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज है। इस मेडिकल कॉलेज में काफी सस्ती दरों पर लोगों के इलाज किए जाते हैं। इसलिए हमारे शहर के अलावा दूसरे राज्यों के लोग भी यहां पर अपना इलाज करवाने के लिए आते हैं।

यहां पर गंभीर से गंभीर बीमारियों का इलाज किया जाता है और जिन लोगों के पास आयुष्मान कार्ड होता है, उनका इलाज बिल्कुल मुफ्त में किया जाता है। इस कॉलेज में हजारों लड़के और लड़कियां ट्रेनिंग भी हासिल करते हैं।

मेरे शहर में अलग-अलग धर्मों के लोग निवास करते हैं परंतु हमारे शहर में सबसे अधिक हिंदू धर्म की आबादी निवास करती है। हमारे शहर में सभी लोग त्योहारों को जोश के साथ मनाते हैं।

हमारे शहर में मुख्य तौर पर होली, दीपावली और उत्तरायण जैसे त्योहारों को मनाया जाता है। हमारे शहर को संस्कारी नगरी भी कहा जाता है। हमारे शहर के लोगों की भाषा बहुत ही मीठी है। इसलिए हमारे शहर के लोग हर किसी को अपना बना लेते हैं।

इस शहर को भारत का खेल और शिक्षा का केंद्र माना जाता है, क्योकि इस प्रकार की अधिकतर गतिविधिया इसी शहर में सम्पन्न होती है। मुंबई काफी विकसित और पुराना शहर है। यहाँ अनेक संस्थाए और सरकारी कार्यलय है। मुंबई एक तटीय शहर है, क्योकि यह समुद्र के तट पर स्थित शहर है।

मेरा शहर जो की सफाई के मामने के काफी सुन्दर हैं और स्वच्छ है। मेरे शहर में काफी कुछ देखने के लिये हैं। हमारे शहर के बीच में से गुजरती नहर लोगों की पानी की कमी को दूर करती हैं। मेरे शहर में एक शानदार और सुन्दर बगीचा भी बना हुआ हैं। मेरे शहर में काफी देखने के लिए हैं, जिसे देखने के लिए लोग दूर दूर से आते हैं।

प्रस्तावना .

जब भी शहर की बात करते हैं तो हमे सबसे पहले एक ही चीज़ याद आती हैं वो हैं शहर की रौनक और शहर की सडकों पर दौड़ती तेज गाडियां। हम जिस शहर की बात कर रहे हैं वो शहर हमारे संभाग जोधपुर से करीब 60 किलोमीटर दूर हैं। हमारे शहर में काफी दर्शनीय स्थल हैं और घुमने के लिए भी कई अलग अलग जगह हैं। मेरे शहर में कुछ ऐसी भी जगह हैं, जहां हमारे प्राचीन काल के इतिहस की झलक दिखाई देती हैं।

मेरे शहर के बीच से गुजरती नहर

हम जिस शहर में रहते हैं, उस शहर के बीच से एक पानी की नहर गुजरती हैं। यह नहर शहर के लोगो के साथ-साथ आसपास के कई गाँवों की प्यास भी बजती हैं। यह नहर शहर के बीचो  बीच से गुजरती हैं, इसी नहर की वजह से आसपास के क्षेत्र को नहर क्षेत्र के नाम से जाना जाता हैं।

यह नहर शहर के पास के एक गाँव से ही निकलती हैं जो शहर में आती हैं और शहर के बाहर जाकर एक नदी में मिल जाती हैं। इस नहर के आसपास का क्षेत्र भी काफी हरा भरा रहता हैं।

शहर में बना हैं म्यूजियम

मेरे शहर में एक म्यूजियम भी हैं। इस म्यूजियम में इतिहास से जुड़े कई स्त्रोत मिल जाते हैं। यह शहर के बीचो बीच आया हुआ हैं। शहर के बीच में बने इस म्यूजिम में कई देखने योग्य चीज़े हैं। इस म्यूजिम में मध्यकाल में हुयी क्रांति की माँ की भी मूर्ति हैं।

इस म्यूजिम में राजस्थान के प्राचीन और मध्यकाल इतिहास की जानकारी और उनसे जुड़े फोटो और मुर्तिया भी मिल जायेगी। यह म्यूजिम शहर के बीच में ही आया हुआ हैं। प्राचीन काल में इतिहास कर जिस प्रकार से ताम्र पत्र का उपयोग करते थे, उन सभी ताम्र पत्रों को जानकारी और उनके कुछ टुकड़े भी हमे इस म्यूजिम में देखने को मिलते हैं।

शहर में पहुचते ही दिखती है कॉलेज

शहर में प्रवेश करते समय ही हमे हमारे शहर की और हमारे जिले की सबसे बड़ी कॉलेज दिख जाती हैं। यह कॉलेज हमारे पुरे जिले में सबसे बड़ी हैं। इस कॉलेज में सभी विषयों की कक्षाए लगती हैं या यूँ कहे कि वो सभी क्लासेज इस कॉलेज में लगती हैं जो दुसरे प्रशिद्ध कॉलेज में लगती हैं।

शहर में भी इस कॉलेज के केम्पस में एक लों कॉलेज भी बनी हैं, जहां पर कानून की पढाई कराई जाती हैं। इस कॉलेज में शहर के पास सभी गाँव और कस्बो के छात्र पढने आते हैं और इस कॉलेज में अपना भविष्य निर्धारित करते हैं। शहर में बनी यह कॉलेज काफी बड़े क्षेत्र में फैली हुई हैं। इस कॉलेज में एक खेल का मैदान भी बना हुआ हैं जो बास्केट बोल के लिए हैं। इस कॉलेज का केम्पस इतना बड़ा हैं कि इस केम्पस में 3 क्रिकेट मैदान बन सकते हैं।

शहर में बना हैं एक स्टेडियम

मेरे शहर में एक स्टेडियम भी बना हुआ हैं। इस मैदान में क्रिकेट के साथ-साथ और भी कई खेल खेले जा सकते हैं। इस मैदान में बास्केट बोल के साथ साथ फुटबॉल भी खेल सकते हैं। शहर में बना यह मैदान काफी बड़ा हैं और इस मैदान में कई प्रतियोगिताए भी होती हैं।

जिले स्तर की प्रतियोगिताएं और राज्य स्तर की प्रतियोगिताए भी इस मैदान में होती हैं। इस मैदान के आसपास शहरी इलाका हैं, इस वजह से यहा कम खेल होते हैं। बावजूद इसके यह मैदान शहर के साथ-साथ पुरे शहर में प्रशिद्ध हैं। मेरे शहर में यह एकमात्र स्टेडियम हैं, हलाकि इसके अलावा और भी कई स्टेडियम हैं पर वो आरक्षित ही है।

शहर के बाहर बना हैं मेडिकल कॉलेज

मेरे शहर के बाहर एक मेडिकल कॉलेज भी बना हुआ हैं जो वर्तमान में भी नया बना हैं। इस कॉलेज में मेडिकल से सम्बंधित पढाई करवाई जाती हैं। इस कॉलेज में लड़के और लडकियां दोनों की पढाई करती हैं। यह मेडिकल कॉलेज शहर से बाहर बना हैं।

शहर के बीचो बीच बना हैं जिले का सबसे बड़ा अस्पताल

मेरे शहर में मेडिकल की सुविधा भी काफी अच्छी हैं। मेरे शहर में बीचो बीच में जिले का सबसे बड़ा अस्पताल बना हुआ हैं। इस अस्पताल में वो सभी सुविधाए मोजूद हैं जो एक आम आदमी को चाहिए। मेडिकल कॉलेज के साथ बना यह अस्पताल शहर का सबसे बड़ा और सबसे पुराना अस्पताल हैं।

• मंबई की यात्रा करने से पहले यहां के ट्रैफिक के बारे में जरूर जान लें। क्योंकि सुबह मॉर्निंग आवर्स में 8 बजे से 10 बजे तक साउथ मुंबई की ओर ट्रैफिक बहुत रहता है। इसलिए आप इसके बाद या फिर शाम को 4 बजे के बाद मुंबई की यात्रा पर निकलें। शाम 5:30 बजे के बाद साउथ बॉम्बे की सड़कों पर बड़ा जाम देखा जा सकता है।
• अगर आप पहली बार फ्लाइट से मुंबई आ रहे हैं तो आपको मालूम होना चाहिए कि यहां दो टर्मिनल हैं। टी-1 और टी-2 । टी 1 घरेलू एयरलाइन टर्मिनल है, जबकि टी-2 से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उड़ाने उड़ान भरती हैं। जिन लोगों को नहीं पता वे अक्सर टर्मिनल को लेकर कंफ्यूज हो जाते हैं।
• मुंबई में सेल्फी के कारण मृत्यु दर में हो रहे इजाफे के बाद मुंबई पुलिस ने शहर में 16 नो सेल्फी जोन की घोषणा कर दी है। इसलिए मुंबई में सेल्फी लेने से पहले आपको इन जगहों के बारे में जरूर पता होना चाहिए। वरना आपके लिए सेल्फी खतरा बन सकती है।
• अगर आपका तुरंत मुंबई जाने का प्लान बना है तो होटल की टेंशन तो होगी, लेकिन मुंबई एक ऐसा शहर है जहां ठहरने के लिए होटल बुक करना काफी आसान है। आप लास्ट मिनट टूर के लिए ऐप की मदद से होटलों में ऑनलाइन रूम बुक कर सकते हैं।
• आपको बता दें कि मुंबई के लोग काफी व्यवहारिक हैं। अगर आप मुंबई से अनजान हैं तो बेशक वे राह बताने में आपकी मदद करेंगे, लेकिन ये भी सही है कि यहां ठगने वाले लोगों की तादाद बहुत है। ऐसे में यहां इन लोगों से बचकर रहें और स्मार्ट बनें।
• मुंबई का मौसम सालभर अच्छा रहता है। यहां तक की आप कभी सर्दियों में भी मुंबई आएं तो आपको अपने साथ स्वैटर और अन्य ऊनी कपड़े ले जाने की जरूरत नहीं है। कॉटन के कपड़ों के साथ आप हल्के कपड़े पैक कर ले जाएं।
• अगर आप मुंबई में लोकल ट्रेन से सफर करना चाहते हैं तो पहले जान लें कि लोकल ट्रेनें सुबह 8 से 10 बजे तक और शाम को 6 से 8 बजे तक फुल मिलती हैं। यहां आपको बैठने के लिए सीट नहीं मिलेगी। इसलिए बेहतर है कि इन समय को छोड़कर अन्य समय परद लोकल ट्रेन की यात्रा करें।
• मुंबई में आपको किसी भी जगह जाना हो ऑटो रिक्शा सबसे अच्छा सार्वजनिक वाहन माना जाता है। यहां के ऑटो ड्रायवर्स व्यवहारिक होते हैं साथ ही राह बताने में आपकी मदद भी करते हैं। अच्छी बात ये है कि यहां ऑटो मीटर से चलते हैं इसलिए आप किसी भी तरह ठगी का शिकार नहीं बन सकते।

Mumbai is a busy city with a rich history of being one of the birthplaces of the Indian independence movement. It has a diverse culture with people from different religions, speaking various languages.

Mumbai is also known as the financial capital of India. It is the second most populous city after Delhi. Mumbai is the birthplace of Indian cinema. Mumbai is known as the city of dreams and has a large number of cinema halls featuring Bollywood, Marathi and Hollywood movies.

Indian Cinema | The city of Mumbai is the birthplace of Indian cinema. Slumdog Millionaire, an English-language British film, was shot entirely in Mumbai and bagged 8 Oscar Awards.

Beaches | Beaches are a major tourist attraction in the city. Juhu Beach, Aksa Beach and Marve Beach are some of the well-known beaches in the city.

Mumbai began as a cluster of seven islands established by the Kolis fishing community which shared a common Marathi language. Later, King Bhimdev established his kingdom in the 13th century.

Under British rule, Mumbai was given as part of dowry when the marriage agreement between Charles II of England and Catherine was made in 1661, after which it became part of the United Kingdom until India gained independence in 1947.

After Indian independence in 1947, the city became a part of the Bombay state, presently known as Maharashtra. Mumbai is now known for being one of the world's most economically-powered cities.

Geographical Features

Mumbai lies on the West coast of India within an area of 603 square kilometres. It is called “The Island City” as it is made up of a group of seven islands. The islands were finally merged into a single mass through various infrastructural projects in 1845.

Climate Of Mumbai

Mumbai has a tropical climate, mostly tropical wet and dry climate. The dry period extends from October to May and a wet period peaks in June. The colder seasons start from December to February followed by hotter seasons from March to May. Mumbai is prone to Monsoon floods caused due to climate change that is affected by heavy rains and high tide in the sea.

Places To Visit In Mumbai

Juhu Beach | One of the most famous and visited beaches in India. This beach is also known as the Celebrity Beach of Mumbai. The beach is a famous tourist spot which is famous for its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

Elephanta Caves | Located 10 km away from mainland Mumbai, the caves were built around the 7th or 8th century and consist of some of the most artistic caves, which also make them resistant to any calamity that has been met to date.

Gateway Of India | Also known as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai, the Gateway of India is located on the waterfront at the Apollo Bunder area at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai. It was used as a ceremonial entrance to India for the Viceroys and Governors of Bombay during British rule.

Marine Drive | This beautiful walkway is officially named the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road. It is a 3km long road along the coastline in Southern Mumbai where large crowds of people gather to experience the stunning sunset. Marine Drive is also known as the 'Queen's Necklace', due to the effect of the streetlights surrounding the palace, making it appear like pearls when viewed from the top.

Festivals And Celebrations In Mumbai

At different times in a year, Mumbai witnesses the celebration of various festivals:-

Ganesh Chaturthi is the biggest celebration seen amongst the people of Mumbai.

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is an exhibition of art that encapsulates artistic works in the field of music, dance, theatres and films.

The Bandra Fair and Banganga festivals two other well-known festivals celebrated in Mumbai.

My Visit To Mumbai

I visited Mumbai during my winter vacations last year. I always wanted to visit th cities since I had seen a lot of it in movies and wanted to experience it for real. I and my parents took a direct flight from Delhi to Mumbai, and stayed at one of the better hotels at Bandra. We tried different types of Marathi dishes, such as Pav Bhaji, Dabeli, Vada Pao, and more. The beaches are beautiful to walk on in the evenings. I had some really deep and meaningful conversations with my parents during our walks on the beaches, which gave me real insights into life. I also saw my favourite actor, Shahrukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat, and I was jumping with excitement as I saw the actor waving at his fans on one of the mornings. My trip to Mumbai is one I shall always remember.

जयपुर शहर घूमने के लिए काफी प्रसिद्ध स्थान है। यहाँ पर बहुत सी ऐसी जगहें मौजूद है, जहाँ लोग घूमना काफी पसंद करते है। यहाँ पर हवामहल, जलमहल, आमेर का किला, जंतर-मंतर, जयगढ़ और भी कईं ऐतिहासिक स्थल है, जो पर्यटन के लिए काफी महत्वपूर्ण है।

यहाँ पर काफी प्रसिद्ध मंदिर भी है, जैसे:- बिरला मंदिर, ढेर के बालाजी, आदि। जयपुर शहर पर्यटन में काफी प्रसिद्ध जगहों में से एक है। यहाँ प्रतिवर्ष लाखों लोग घूमने के लिए आते है। यहाँ देश के लोग ही नहीं बल्कि विदेश से भी लोग आते है।

जयपुर शहर विकास की राह में काफी आगे है। यहाँ सभी प्रकार की सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध है। यहाँ पर चिकित्सा, विद्यालय, सड़कें और विश्वविद्यालय, आदि मौजूद है।

विकास की राह में जयपुर शहर धीरे-धीरे आगे बढ़ रहा है। यहाँ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा व मेट्रो प्रणाली की सुविधाएँ भी लोगों को मिल रही है। यहाँ सड़के चौड़ी व सीधी है। यहाँ शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य व रोजगार विकसित हो रहे है।

मेरे शहर का निर्माण :-

जयपुर शहर का निर्माण सवाई जयसिंह द्वारा सन 1727 ईस्वी में करवाया गया था। सवाई जयसिंह आमेर के राजा थे। वहाँ पानी की कमी व अधिक लोग होने के कारण राजा जयसिंह ने जयपुर शहर का निर्माण करवाया, ताकि आमेर के लोगों को जयपुर में स्थानांतरित किया जा सके।

राजा ने 6 गाँवों को मिलाकर जयपुर शहर का निर्माण करवाया था। जयपुर शहर की वास्तुकला का निर्माण वास्तुकार विद्याधर भट्टाचार्य द्वारा किया गया था। काफी ख़ास ध्यान देकर जयपुर शहर का निर्माण किया गया है।

मेरा शहर काफी सुन्दर शहरों में से एक है। मुझे यहाँ रहना काफी पसंद है। मेरे शहर में सभी सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध है। मेरा शहर स्वच्छ शहरों में से एक है। यहाँ काफी साफ-सफाई रहती है।

मेरा शहर काफी प्रसिद्ध शहरों में से एक है। इसे गुलाबी नगरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, क्योंकि यहाँ पर सभी घर व दुकानें गुलाबी रंग से रंगे गए है।

निस्संदेह दिल्ली ही प्रिय नगर है । यह केवल ऐतिहासिक नागरी ही नहीं अपितु औद्योगिक नगरी भी है । भारत का हृदय है । सत्ता का केंद्र है तथा विभिन्नताओं से भरा हुआ अपने आप में एक देश है । दिल्ली भारत की राजधानी है ।

यहाँ मंत्रालयों, कार्यालयों तथा होटलों का बड़ी-बड़ी तथा ऊँची-ऊँची इमारतें तथा सड़कों पर लोगों तथा वाहनों की भीड़ देखने को मिलती है । प्राचीन काल से ही यह राजनीतिक गतिविधियों का केन्द्र रहा है । कहते हैं कि एक राजा ने अपने राज्य को स्थिर रखने के उद्‌देश्य से धरती में एक कीली गड़वाई । शीघ्र ही उसने कीली की जाँच करनी चाही ।

उसने कीली को उखाड़ा । कीली पर खून के निशान थे कहते हैं कि यह खून शेषनाग का था । कीली दुबारा गड़वाई गई । किन्तु यह ढीली रह गई तभी से इस नगर को पहले दिली और कुछ समय बाद दिल्ली कहा जाने लगा । यह ऐतिहासिक नगर है । प्राचीन काल में इसका नाम इन्द्रप्रस्थ था ।

यह मुस्लिम तथा मुगल शासकों की राजधानी रहा है । अंग्रेज शासकों ने भी दिल्ली को ही अपनी राजनीतिक गतिविधियों का मुख्यालय बनाया । अत: स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद दिल्ली को ही भारत की राजधानी के रूप में चुना गया । दिल्ली का अपना एक लम्बा इतिहास है । यहाँ की सुन्दर तथा भव्य इमारतें अपने युग की कहानी कहती हैं ।

पुरानी दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन के पास ही चाँदनी चौक का मुख्य बाजार है । यहाँ बड़ी-बड़ी दुकानें हैं । लाखों का व्यापार होता है । हर समय यहाँ लोगों की भीड़ लगी रहती है । इस बाजार में प्रत्येक वस्तु मिल जाती है । चाँदनी चौक के एक ओर जहाँ फतेहपुरी, नई सड़क तथा नगर निगम की भव्य इमारतें हैं ।

वहाँ दूसरी ओर दीवान हॉल, आर्य समाज मन्दिर, गौरी शंकर मन्दिर, जैन मन्दिर, प्रसिद्ध जामा मस्जिद तथा ऐतिहासिक लाल किला की इमारतें हैं । प्रतिदिन हजारों की सख्या में लोग इन धार्मिक तथा ऐतिहासिक इमारतों को देखने दिल्ली आते हैं ।

दिल्ली का लाल किला एक विशाल तथा आकर्षक इमारत है । इसे मुगल बादशाह शाहजहाँ ने बनवाया था । अब लाल किले की प्राचीर से भारत के प्रधानमंत्री स्वतत्रता दिवस पर राष्ट्र को संबोधित करते है । लाल किले के ठीक सामने भव्य जामा मस्जिद है । इसे भी शाहजहाँ ने ही बनवाया था ।

महरोली के निकट प्रसिद्ध कुतुब मीनार को देखने दूर-दूर से लोग आते है विदेशी पर्यटकों के आकर्षण का यह मुख्य केन्द्र है । हुमायूँ का मकबरा भी दिल्ली की एक प्रसिद्ध ऐतिहासिक इमारत है । कहते हैं कि इसी इमारत से प्रेरणा पाकर आगरा के विश्व प्रसिद्ध ताजमहल का निर्माण हुआ था । सफदरजंग का मकवरा भी पर्यटकों के आकर्षण का केन्द्र है । इसी प्रकार निजामुद्दीन की दरगाह, रहीम का मकबरा, अशोक स्तम्भ तथा जन्तर-मन्तर कुछ और दर्शनीय ऐतिहासिक स्थल हैं । कोई भी दिल्ली आने वाला प्रसिद्ध बिरला मंदिर देखे बिना नहीं जाता ।

अब तो दिल्ली में स्वतंत्र भारत के कुछ और भी दर्शनीय स्थल बन गए हैं । संसद भवन देखने योग्य है । सत्र के दौरान प्रत्येक भारतीय अपने नेताओं को राष्ट्र के सम्बन्ध में बड़े-बड़े निर्णय लेते देख सकता है । राष्ट्रपति भवन भी भव्य दर्शनीय इमारत है । इसे देखने लाखों की संख्या में लोग पहुँचते हैं । पुराना किला भी अच्छा खासा पर्यटक स्थल है । राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी की समाधि राजघाट तथा इंडिया गेट को देखने प्रतिदिन हजारों की संख्या में पर्यटक पहुँचते हैं ।

पिछले कुछ वर्षों में दिल्ली का रूप और भी सजाया और सवांरा गया है । सड़कें चौड़ी कर दी गई है । सड़कों के दोनों ओर वृक्ष लगाए गए हैं । जगह-जगह सुन्दर पार्क विकसित किये गये हैं । कई बड़े-बड़े और सुन्दर मन्दिर खड़े हो गए हैं । यहाँ हर समय भक्तों का मेला लगा रहता है ।

पिछले कुछ वर्षों में दिल्ली की जनसंख्या में भारी वृद्धि हुई है । परिणामस्वरूप लोगों के आवास और खान-पान से सम्बन्धित अनेकों समस्याएँ उठ खड़ी हुई हैं ।

Mumbai is situated in the west part of India, also called the Financial Capital of India. It is one of the largest cities of India. Mumbai is one of those places in India where the past meets the present. Marathi is considered to be the regional language of Mumbai, as it is a part of Maharashtra. It is also one of the highest populated cities of India. It was also named as the Alpha World City in the year 2008. Interestingly, this city has the most numbers of Millionaires and Billionaires of the country.

Geographical Features of Mumbai

Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra, with an area of 603 squared-kilometers, lies on the western coast of India. It made from the group of seven islands, and hence, it is sometimes also called the Island city. These seven islands are as follows: Isle of Bombay, Mazagaon, Colaba, Old Woman’s Island, Parel, Worli, and Salsette Island.

History of Mumbai City

Mumbai was named after a local goddess, Mumba Devi in 1995. The history of this spectacular and modern city dates back to the rule of the famous King Ashoka. These seven islands were under the rule of him until his demise. After his demise, it was ruled by various rulers. And finally, these isles were handed over to the East India Company by the Portuguese in 1668, and then it was named “Bombay”.

These islands were finally merged into a single mass through various infrastructure projects in 1845; But it was the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869, that opened the city to the rest of the World. And from here on, Mumbai went on to become a major port in India. Post-Independence, Mumbai went on to become one of the most developed cities of the country, and in 1960, it was declared as the new Capital of Maharashtra.

Places to visit in Mumbai

Gateway of india.

The Gateway of India, also known as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai, is located on the waterfront at Apollo Bunder area at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg, South Mumbai. It was built during the British Raj, to be used as a ceremonial entrance to India for the Viceroys and Governors of Bombay. The structure is 85 feet high.

Marine Drive

Officially named as the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road, it is a 3 km long road along the coastline in southern Mumbai. Large crowds of people gather here, to experience this beautiful walkway and the stunning scenario of the setting sun at dusk. Interestingly, Marine Drive is also known as ‘Queen’s Necklace’, due to the effect of the streetlights surrounding the place, making it appear like pearls when viewed from the top.

Also known as the Celebrity Beach of Mumbai, it is one of the most famous and most-visited beaches of India. Tourists visit this beach to experience its peaceful atmosphere and its scenic beauty. Not just that, the beach is also famous for its local street foods.

Elephanta Caves

Located just 10 kilometers away from the mainland Mumbai, the Elephanta Islands consists some of the most artistic caves, i.e. the Elephanta Caves. These caves which were built between around 5th and 8th century. Till then, the caves had survived every calamity that met with it.

Bandra Worli Sea link

Also known as the Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, it is a cable bridge that connects Bandra to Worli. This bridge stands as an example of one of the brilliant engineering miracles. The length of this bridge is around 5.6 kilometres and had decreased the traffic by a considerable amount. And many more places are there to visit.

Mumbai, despite being the financial hub of the country and the place of the world-famous Bollywood, it still has its own problems and hurdles that it need to overcome. The rising difference between the poor and rich, and the existence of Underworld, are some of the issues that the city is still struggling with. मुंबई की सैर

Mumbai Ki Sair 

एक बार मैंने अपने मित्र सौरभ के साथ मुंबई की सैर करने की योजना बनाई। हमारे स्कूल की दुर्गा पूजा की छुट्टियाँ पड़ गई थीं। इसलिए हम पाना सुबह-सुबह (5 बजे) नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन पर आ गए और टिकट लेकर ‘पंजाब मेल’ में बैठ गए। सबह-सुबह कम भीड़ थी इसलिए बैठने के लिए बर्थ (टेन की बेंच या कर्सी) आसानी से मिल गई थी।

रेलगाड़ी पहले मथुरा आई, फिर आगरा पहुँची। आगरा से हमने वहा। की मशहूर मिठाई पेठा लिया। पेठा खाने के बाद हम ताश खलन लगा। ताश खेलते-खेलते झाँसी आ गया। फिर हमने खाना खाया आर गाड़ी के बाहर के दृश्य देखने लगे। बाहर देखते-देखते हम सो गए। जब आँखे खुली तो हमारी गाड़ी इटारसी में थी। वहाँ का मनोरम और मन दश्य तो अत्यंत मनभावना था-ऊँचे-ऊँचे पहाड़ और दूर तक फैले के मैदान। हमने देखा कि पहाड़ों पर बादल छाए हुए थे। हमने अर किया कि काश! हम पहाड़ पर होते तो बादलों को छु लेते। मेगा सौरभ अपने साथ कैमरा भी ले गया था, तो उसने उस मनोहारी दी को कैमरे में कैद कर लिया।

इटारसी का वर्णन तो मैंने साहित्य में भी पढ़ा था कि इटारसी भारत के स्वर्ग ‘कश्मीर’ से कम नहीं है। अत: कश्मीर से उसकी तुलना की जाती है। मैंने जो कुछ साहित्य में पढ़ा था, उसे आँखों से साक्षात् देखकर मेरा मन तृप्त हो गया।

ट्रेन में चलते-चलते एक बुजुर्ग सज्जन ने हमें बताया कि मुंबई महाराष्ट्र की राजधानी है। उसकी भाषा मराठी है। उसमें 31 जिले हैं। मुंबई को मायानगरी भी कहते हैं। पूरा फिल्म उद्योग जगत वहीं पर है। महाराष्ट्र भारत का तीसरे नंबर का सबसे बड़ा राज्य है। मौर्यों के पतन के पश्चात् लगभग 1000 वर्ष तक महाराष्ट्र पर कई हिन्दू राजवंशों का शासन रहा। छत्रपति शिवाजी के उदय के बाद महाराष्ट ने इतिहास में एक नए चरण में प्रवेश किया।

फिर अगली सुबह ‘कल्याण’ स्टेशन आया। वहाँ हमने चाय पी। मैं अपनी बर्थ पर पालथी मारके चाय पी रहा था और मेरे नए जूते मेरी सीट के नीचे रखे थे। चाय पीने के पश्चात् जैसे ही मैंने पाँव नीचे किए, तो देखा कि मेरे जूते गायब थे। एक आदमी बोला-“क्या हुआ भैया? जूते चोरी हो गए। भीड़भाड़ में कोई ले गया होगा। अच्छा हुआ, मैंने जूते नहीं उतारे। वैसे हमें अपने सामान पर हर समय नजर रखनी चाहिए।” उसका बात सुनकर मेरा मित्र हंस दिया। मैं बोला-“ये मेरी जिन्दगी की पहली यात्रा है भैया! धीरे-धीरे सब सीख जाऊँगा।” मेरा मित्र बोला “ठीक बात है। आदमी खोकर ही कुछ पाता है।”

उसके बाद हम मुंबई वी. टी. स्टेशन पहुँच गए। रेलगाड़ी से उतरकर सर्वप्रथम मैंने चप्पलें खरीदीं। फिर हम बस द्वारा रानी बाग गए। वहाँ पर हमने मगरमच्छ, एक बहुत बड़ा उल्लू और एक तालाब में राजहंस देखे। राजहंस मैंने जीवन में पहली बार देखे थे-लाल सुर्ख चोंच और हल्की गलाब और सफेद रंगत! वहाँ हमने संगमरमर से बनी रानी की प्रतिमा भी देखीं और संग्रहालय में रखे कुछ प्राचीन हथियार एवं अन्य वस्तुएँ भी देखीं। तत्पश्चात् हमने खाना खाया। फिर हम बस द्वारा चौपाटी गए। वहाँ पर समुद्र भी मैंने पहली बार देखा था, जो बहुत विशाल था-किनारे से लेकर क्षितिज तक पानी ही पानी। समुद्र की लहरें, तेज़ हवा के साथ बार-बार आ और जा रही थीं। मैं कुछ अंदर तक समुद्र के पानी में गया। मैंनं समुद्र का पानी चखकर देखा, जो खारा था। वहाँ कई लोग घूम रहे थे-कुछ पैदल और कुछ बग्गी में। वहाँ हमने भेलपूरी भी खाई। कई लोग वहाँ बच्चों के खिलौने भी बेच रहे थे। वहाँ मेला-सा लगा हुआ था।

तत्पश्चात् हम गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया गए। जिसे सन् 1911 में ब्रिटिश सम्राट जॉर्ज पंचम तथा महारानी मैरी के भारत आगमन पर विजय स्मारक के रूप में बनवाया गया था। वहाँ हमने पानी का जहाज़ भी देखा। इसके अतिरिक्त हमने मुंबई कैसल (महल), प्रिंस ऑफ वेल्स म्यूजियम, मैरीन ड्राइव, हैंगिग गार्डन, विक्टोरिया गार्डन, जहाँगीर आर्ट गैलरी, जुहू बीच, हाजी मस्जिद, छत्रपति शिवाजी टर्मिनस, संजय गाँधी नेशनल पार्क और एक फाउंटेन भी देखा। ये सब देखने के पश्चात् हम अपने घर वापस गए। मुंबई की सैर करके मुझे ऐसा प्रतीत हुआ, जैसे मैंने पूरी दुनिया की भ्रमण कर लिया हो। मुंबई की सैर मुझे सदैव स्मरण रहेगी।

दिल्ली भारत के चार सबसे बड़े शहरों में से एक है। ऐसे अन्य तीन शहर मुंबई, कोलकाता और चेन्नई हैं। दिल्ली भारत की राजधानी है यह सदियों से भारत की राजधानी रही है, ऐसा इसलिए था क्योंकि विभाजन से पहले, यह देश के दिल में थी। हालांकि, आजादी के बाद भी इसका महत्व कम नहीं हुआ है।

माना जाता है कि पांडवास भी देश के इसी हिस्से में रहते थे। उस युग के दौरान, शहर को इंद्रप्रस्थ के नाम से जाना जाता था। कहा जाता है कि पुराना किला उस समय के दौरान बनाया गया था।

दिल्ली अपने खूबसूरत स्मारकों के लिए जानी जाती है। सदियों से कई शानदार स्मारक लंबे समय से खड़े हैं। कई नई इमारतों को बाद में बनाया गया है और वे उतने ही शानदार हैं। इन स्मारकों को देखने के लिए दुनिया भर के पर्यटक दिल्ली आते हैं। यहाँ मेरे शहर में सबसे लोकप्रिय स्मारकों में से कुछ पर एक नज़र डालते है

दिल्ली की एक और वास्तुशिल्प प्रतिभा, कुतुब मीनार भी लाल रेत के पत्थर से बना है। इसे कुतुब उद-दीन-ऐबक ने बनवाया था। 73 मीटर ऊंची यह इमारत यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर स्थल है। इसमें पांच मंजिला शामिल हैं जो सर्पिल सीढ़ियों के माध्यम से जुड़े हुए हैं।

लाल किला दिल्ली के सबसे पुराने स्मारकों में से एक है। लाल बलुआ पत्थर से बने इस किले में विभिन्न संग्रहालय शामिल हैं। वास्तुकला की यह शानदार किला मुगलों द्वारा 16 वीं शताब्दी में बनाया गया था। मुगल बादशाह यहां लगभग 200 वर्षों तक रहे।

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि हुमायूं का मकबरा अद्भुत ताजमहल की प्रतिकृति है। यह लाल बलुआ पत्थर और सफेद संगमरमर के साथ बनाया गया है। मकबरा इस्लामी वास्तुकला की फारसी शैली का एक उदाहरण है। मकबरा 47 मीटर ऊंचा और 91 मीटर चौड़ा है और सुंदर फारसी शैली के बगीचे से घिरा हुआ है।

जैसा कि नाम से पता चलता है, यह मंदिर कमल के आकार में बनाया गया है। इसमें सफेद संगमरमर से बनी 27 पंखुड़ियां हैं। इसमें नौ दरवाजे हैं जो मुख्य हॉल में खुलते हैं। अद्भुत इमारत एक समय में 2500 लोगों को समायोजित करने के लिए काफी बड़ी है।

लोटस टेंपल पूजा का एक बहाई घर है, लेकिन यह किसी भी धर्म से संबंधित लोगों के लिए खुला है।

इंडिया गेट शहर का एक और ऐतिहासिक स्मारक है जो दुनिया भर से कई पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करता है। इस स्मारक पर शहीदों के नाम उकेरे गए हैं। इस स्मारक के नीचे जलाई गई अमर जवान ज्योति भारतीय सैनिकों के लिए एक श्रद्धांजलि है।

अक्षर धाम मंदिर भक्ति और पवित्रता का स्थान है। यह दिल्ली में स्मारकों की सूची में नवीनतम जोड़ है। इसे वर्ष 2005 में जनता के लिए खोला गया था। खूबसूरती से नक्काशीदार मंदिर और अन्य अद्भुत इमारतों के अलावा, अक्षर धाम परिसर में हरे-भरे बगीचे और जल निकाय शामिल हैं।

मैं इन सभी स्थानों पर गयी हूं और इन्हें बार-बार देख सकती हूं। मेरे पास इन जगहों की खूबसूरत यादें हैं।

ऐतिहासिक स्मारकों के अलावा, दिल्ली में चारों ओर खरीदारी करने के लिए कई स्थान भी शामिल हैं। इसे निश्चित रूप से एक दुकानदार की खुशी कहा जा सकता है। मुझे विभिन्न बाजारों का दौरा करना पसंद है जो न केवल मुझे अच्छा सामान खरीदने का अवसर देते हैं, बल्कि मुझे मनोरंजक स्ट्रीट फूड का मौका भी देते हैं। मैं खुद को दिल्ली के अलावा कहीं और रहने की कल्पना नहीं कर सकती।

दिल्ली में बड़ी संख्या में पुस्तकालय, संग्रहालय और कला दीर्घाएं भी हैं। दिल्ली के कुछ प्रसिद्ध अस्पतालों में अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, राम मनोहर लोहिया अस्पताल, मूल चंद अस्पताल, सर गंगा राम अस्पताल, सफदरजंग अस्पताल, कलावती अस्पताल, सुचेता कृपलानी होस्पीटियाल, लोकनायक जयप्रकाश अस्पताल आदि शामिल हैं।

मेरे गाँव में बच्चों के पढ़ने के लिए एक प्राइमरी स्कूल है और एक हाई स्कूल भी बना है। मेरे गाँव में डाक भेजने के लिए एक पोस्ट ऑफिस और मरीजों के उपचार के लिए एक अस्पताल भी है। मेरा गाँव का आज के समय के कम्युनिकेशन सिस्टम के मामले में बहुत डेवलप है। गाँव की पंचायत सड़क के माध्यम से पास के भारत के नेशनल हाईवे से जुड़ा हुआ है। हमारे गाँव की सभी मुख्य सड़कें पक्की हैं तथा वाहनों के आने जाने के लिए बहुत चौड़ी हैं।

हमारे गांव में अलग-अलग प्रोफेशंस के लोग रहते हैं, लेकिन मुख्यत: हमारे गांव के अधिकतर लोग किसान हैं। इसके साथ गांव के कुछ लोग मछली पकड़ने, बुनाई, हस्तशिल्प, दुकानदारी आदि से जुड़े हैं। इसके अलावा, कुछ लोग मजदूर के रूप में भी काम करते हैं। एक गाँव का एक मुख्य बाज़ार भी है जो एक सप्ताह में दो लोगों की खरीद दारी के लिए एक बार आयोजित होता है। इसकी वजह से गांव में लोगों के अपने पसंद की चीजें खरीदने और बेचने के लिए दूर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। हमारे गाँव का तथा उसके आस-पास का मौसम बहुत अधिक सुहावना और सुन्दर है। यहां ताजी हवा और ऑक्सीजन मिलना संभव है। गांव में पीने का पानी स्वच्छ है एवं यह प्रदूषण मुक्त है मेरा गाँव दिन प्रतिदिन प्रगति कर रहा है। गांव का प्रत्येक बचा शिक्षा की ओर बढ़ रहा है और कई सारे छात्र पढ़ाई के लिए विदेश भी जा पा रहे हैं। मुझे अपने इस गांव पर बहुत अधिक गर्व है।
