An assignment is a piece of (academic) work or task. It provides opportunities for students to learn, practice, and demonstrate they have achieved the learning goals. Students must note that the submission of the YCMOU Assignment Paper pdf is different for all course programs. Therefore, we will provide all the complete details regarding the YCMOU FY BA Home Assignment Answers set. The students must submit legibly handwritten Assignments s/Projects of TYBA/FYBA to the Study Centre before the last date.

What is the YCMOU Home Assignment?

An assignment is a piece of (academic) work or task. It provides opportunities for students to learn, practice, and demonstrate they have achieved the learning goals. It provides evidence for the teacher that the students have achieved the goals. The output can be judged using sensory perception (observing, reading, tasting, etc.). The YCMOU Home Assignment can focus on a product as output (e.g. research report, design, prototype, etc.) and/or a process (e.g. research process, group process) and/or the performance of individual skills or competencies (e.g. professional skills, communications skills).

YCMOU Home Assignment Submission Dates 2021-22

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University assigns the home assignment for the students who have take YCMOU Admission in any degree/ diploma course. The submission of the assignment of the course programs in two sessions. July and January. Students have to submit the assignment within the deadline date. So, the submission dates of YCMOU FY BA Home Assignment is as follows-

YCMOU Home Assignment Questions (Course-wise)

University uploads the  YCMOU Home Assignment 2024 questions on the university website that is ycmou.digitaluniversity.ac . Students should download the YCMOU assignment questions from the university website. A student who fails to submit assignments within the stipulated time would not be allowed to re-submit the same after the commencement of the Semester end examination and they would be awarded ‘zero’ marks, and the same would be displayed in his/her mark sheet. Instructions for writing YCMOU Home Assignment PDF

Here we have provided complete details of how to write the Assignment Paper of YCMOU. Students must make sure that they follow all the instructions carefully.

• First and Foremost, use a Foolscap Size Paper or A4 Size Paper to write your assignments.
• Leave spaces of one or two lines after each answer. This will help the evaluator to provide any suggestions if required.
• Ruled Papers would be better than blank paper. This is also recommended by the YCMOU Officials.
• Use Blue ot Black pen to write down your assignments. No other color pen is allowed on the assignment paper.
• The assignment must be written manually and must be within the word-limit.
• Do not print or type tour assignments. This is not allowed.
• You cannot copy the answers from any units/material. Students will receive zero marks if they copy the answers from anywhere. Hence, it will be later rejected by the University.
• For each course, make separate assignment sets.
• Write the question before each answer.
• After finishing the work assignment, attach all the files in a proper manner, and submit to the co-ordinator only.
• After the submission of the YCMOU Home Assignment , students will receive a receipt that they have to keep it safe for future reference. An acknowledgment will also be sent to the study center. Save the YCMOU Assignment Receipt

HUM 100. Academic Writing Workshop in the Humanities. 1 hour.

The role of writing in inquiry and research in an academic context. Broad introduction to research that is enhanced by the topics and writing assignments in HUM 101 and HUM 102 . Course Information: Prerequisite(s): Grade of B or better in ENGL 160 or placement into ENGL 161 . Corequisites: Students must concurrently enroll in either HUM 101 or HUM 102 and continue in HUM 101 or HUM 102 throughout the semester.

HUM 101. Humanities Core: Understanding the Individual and Society. 3 hours.

An exploration of historical and modern views of the nature of the individual, the nature of society, and the complex interplay between the two. Topics will vary. Course Information: This is a writing-intensive course with extensive practice in expository writing and revision. A grade of B or better in HUM 101 will satisfy the ENGL 161 requirement. Prerequisite(s): Grade of B or better in ENGL 160 or placement into ENGL 161 . Open only to freshmen. Individual and Society course .

HUM 102. Humanities Core: Understanding the Past. 3 hours.

An exploration of events, ideas, writing and creative works from the past and their influence on the present. Topics will vary. Course Information: This is a writing-intensive course with extensive practice in expository writing and revision. A grade of B or better in HUM 102 will satisfy the ENGL 161 requirement. Prerequisite(s): Grade of B or better in ENGL 160 or placement into ENGL 161 . Open only to freshmen. Past course .

HUM 110. Introduction to the Humanities I: Critical Thinking, Writing, and Literature. 4 hours.

An exploration of modes of thought and self-expression through literature and philosophy. Topics will vary. Course Information: This course is open only to students in the Odyssey Project.

HUM 111. Introduction to the Humanities II: U.S. History and Visual Studies. 4 hours.

How humans experience, investigate, make, and represent the world. Course Information: Open only to students in the Odyssey Project.

HUM 120. Engaged Humanities: Understanding the Individual and Society. 4 hours.

An exploration of the complex relationship between the individual and society, with special attention given to the Chicago context and activities designed to develop student research and writing skills. Topics will vary. Course Information: Credit is not given for HUM 120 if student has credit in ENGL 161 .This is a writing-intensive course with extensive practice in expository writing and revision. A grade of B or better in HUM 120 will satisfy the ENGL 161 requirement. Prerequisite(s): Grade of B or better in ENGL 160 or placement into ENGL 161 . Open only to freshmen. Class Schedule Information: To be properly registered, students must enroll in one Lecture-Discussion and one Discussion. Individual and Society course .

HUM 201. Topics in the Humanities. 3 hours.

Introduction to key concepts and ideas in the humanities. Students in this course may join the Engaged Humanities Initiative and receive funding for humanities research. Course Information: May be repeated to a maximum of 9 hours if topics vary. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 161 ; or HUM 120 ; or consent of the Engaged Humanities Initiative (https://ehi.uic.edu/).

HUM 202. Engaged Humanities Research Workshop. 1 hour.

An overview of engaged humanities topics, possibilities, and themes along with guidance for preparing for summer research activities. Course Information: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading only. Prerequisite(s): HUM 201 ; and consent of the instructor.

HUM 210. Seminar in the Humanities. 3 hours.

Focuses on in-depth discussion of topics in the humanities and builds on methods introduced in HUM 110 and HUM 111 . Course Information: Open only to students in the Odyssey Project. Prerequisite(s): HUM 110 and HUM 111 ; or consent of the instructor.
