    For biology students, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, there are numerous grants, fellowships or scholarships available to help fund education and research. Scholarships are given to the student to help financially support their secondary education.

    The American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) fund promising undergraduate students so they can conduct meaningful research in plant biology during the early part of their college careers.

  6. External Fellowships & Grants | Biology - Columbia University

    Eligibility: A PI can apply to support a high school student, undergraduate, graduate student or postdoctoral researcher who will enhance diversity. This grant is awarded as a supplement to existing NIH-supported projects and the research proposed must be within the original scope of the project.

  7. Fellowships - Molecular and Cell Biology

  8. Graduate Funding | Department of Biology | Georgetown University

    The Georgetown Biology Ph.D. program is fully funded; a stipend and tuition waiver will be provided for all five years of the program. Students in the program receive their stipends through a combination of research assistantship jobs, teaching assistantship jobs, university fellowships, and external fellowships.
