2. Assignments are to be submitted to ONLY contact email/emails as provided by your Study Center and not to any other email id.

3. The learner will submit a scanned copy of the handwritten solved assignment. Also, retain the handwritten solved assignment with you for future requirements.

4. You are advised to submit the online assignment along with the below mentioned information.

5. If any discrepancy is found in the assignments submitted, it will be returned back to the learner for correction and resubmission.

6. In case A4 writing paper is not available with you, you may use any kind of writable paper to complete your assignment.

7. The sent report of the email by which you submit your assignment is your assignment submission receipt. No separate receipt will be provided.

8. You can send the course wise assignment attachment separately one by one by email if all assignments cannot be attached together in a single email.

9. Retain hardcopy of the Assignments sent, for future reference.

Guidelines for Submission of Assignments. The handwritten assignments are scanned into PDF format and the file must be named in the following format: Enrollment No+ Course Code e.g. If enrollment Number is 202012345 and Course is BCS011. The name of the Assignment file must be named as 202012345BCS011. PDF Kindly submit the assignments in the given format. if submitted ONLINE before the last date given by IGNOU.

Advantages and disadvantages of Submission Of assignments via link

One of the main advantages of online assignment submission is that it is very easy for the students. They can submit their assignments anytime and anywhere. All they need is a computer or a mobile with an internet connection. Another advantage of this system is that it saves a lot of time. The students do not have to go to the IGNOU center to submit their assignments.

However, there are some disadvantages to the online submission process as well. The first disadvantage is that the students need to have a good internet connection. If the internet connection is not good, then the students will not be able to send their assignments. The second disadvantage is that the students need to be very careful while submitting their assignments. If they make any mistakes, then their assignments will be rejected. it is also hard for the teachers to evaluate the assignments from the online scan copies.

How to Submit IGNOU Assignment for TEE December 2024?

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods 2024 – As per the regular schedule of the IGNOU Assignment submission, the university going to accept the IGNOU Assignment for the Term-end examination December 2024 till 30th September 2024 so the students can submit their assignments latest by 30th September 2024 to get eligible to appear in the upcoming TEE December 2024 . It is also noted that the given last date is subject to change or extension that should not be treated as the final date of submission.

The university may extend the assignment submission date so candidates have to wait for the official announcement from IGNOU after they missed the due date. The students now can also submit their assignments online if they are not able to visit their respective centers. So, now there are three different ways how the students can submit the assignments based on their convenience.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Offline Mode

This is the usual way through which the students usually submit the assignments. The students have to finish answering the questions of the assignments and then submit them to the study center. While preparing the assignments, you should make sure that the very first page of the assignment should have all the necessary details.

How To Submit IGNOU Assignment?

  • The name of the student
  • Enrolment number
  • Program and Code code
  • Name, Code, and address of the study center where you are submitting the assignment
  • Mobile number and email address of the student

If you are submitting the assignments directly through offline mode, the person at the study center will offer you a receipt that you need to keep safe till the result is not declared.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Online Mode

For students who are not able to visit the study center to submit the assignments can also submit them online now by following any of these two methods. It is noted that both of the methods are subject to availability at the respective regional centre.

Google Form

The very first method is that of Google Forms. The students can visit the respective regional portals of IGNOU and then submit the assignments. You can follow the below steps for the successful submission of assignments through Google Form.

Step – 1 – First of all, have a look on the list of IGNOU Regional Centres at the Official Website of IGNOU and go to your RC website.

Step – 2 – On the homepage of RC’s official page, go to the section of News and Events.

Step – 3 – You should get the option of Assignment Guidelines or Assignment Submission on which you have to click.

Step – 4 – As you click on the link, the Google form will get open in the browser.

Step – 5 – Now now start filling the form with proper details such as your name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.

Step – 6 – Carefully upload the scanned copy of your assignment and submit the form.

Instructions to Follow

While you are submitting the assignments through Google Form, make sure that you follow these important instructions.

  • You have to fill a new form for each subject.
  • Make sure that you are uploading the assignment files correctly.
  • You need to scan the handwritten copies of the assignments and upload them.
  • The scanned copy of assignments should not be more than 100MB.
  • You should only submit the PDF format of the scanned copy.
  • Though you will be entering the basic details in the Google Form, it is also a great idea to mention the same details on your assignment copy also.
  • The option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms will be available only when the quota of email submission is over.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Email

Though IGNOU has started the option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms, it will be not available in all the regional centers. The option of Google Forms will be only applicable if the email quota of a regional center is over and they are not more able to receive assignment emails from the students.

Here is the method that you need to follow to submit your assignments through email.

Step – 1 – Mention all the important details on the IGNOU Assignment Front Page that you would do in the case of offline submissions such as name, subject name and code, program and course code, study center name and code, contact details, and others.

Step – 2 – Scan your handwritten assignment copy and get it in PDF format. Each subject assignment should be in each PDF copy.

Step – 3 – Find out the email address of your regional center from Google in the same way how you search for the regional center portal link.

Step – 4 – In the body of the email, provide all the details in a listicle format that you have mentioned on the front page of your assignments.

Step – 5 – Now attach the PDF formats of your assignments and send the email to the respective regional center email address.

After you have sent the email, you should receive an acknowledgment. It may take a few hours to get this acknowledgment email. But if you have still not received it, you should check whether the regional portal has shared the link for Google Forms or not and should upload the assignments there too.

It is also noted that the many of the regional centre of IGNOU is not sending any confirmation or acknowledgment after the submission of IGNOU Assignments so you don’t need to worry about it instead of keep checking the IGNOU Assignment Status to get the latest status, marks and result.

All the students of IGNOU-2842 are informed that submission of assignments for December, 2024 Term-end-examination can be done through offline mode. Submission of assignments will start from 18th September,2024 (Wednesday) and it will end on 30th October,2024 (Wednesday). Instruction to Examinees for Term-End-Examination: December,2023

This is to inform all examinees that the IGNOU Term-end-examination: December 2023 will begin on 1st December, 2023 and continue until 9th January 2024. You are required to download your hall ticket from the link provided below and follow below instruction carefully before the examination hall visit. We advise you to keep track of any updates or changes regarding the exam through the official IGNOU website.

  INSTRUCTION TO BE GIVEN TO THE CANDIDATES :-

a.   Carrying of Mobile phones, digital watch and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the confidential room of the Examination Centres. Only the Centre Superintendent may carry the mobile phone in case of exigencies.

b.  No candidate should be admitted to the Examination Hall unless she/he presents  the Hall Ticket issued to him/her or otherwise satisfies the Centre Superintendent as to his/her eligibility and identity. The Hall Ticket of all candidates should be verified during all sessions of the Examination. All the candidates should carry with them the identity card issued by the University. If for some reason, the examinee does not have his/her valid IGNOU identity card, and their name appears on the attendance sheet, they may show any valid Photo Identity card issued by any Government Institution for entry in the examination hall.

c.     Every candidate shall take his/her seat at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

d.  No candidate shall be admitted in to the examination hall after 30 minutes have elapsed since the commencement of the examination.

e.  No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before 60 minutes have elapsed since the commencement of the examination.

f.   Centre Superintendent should bring the instructions to the rooms as mentioned in the hall ticket.

Notification regarding MAJMC & PGJMC Viva Test (Registration Process)

IGNOU Study center 2842 is going to conduct viva voce test (MJML-020 & MJML-021) after 16 th August 2023, so those who want to give this test should register themselves through google form link in instruction. And follow each step of the instruction below. 

1.       Register your name by this Google form ( https://forms.gle/pqu9Uk9t8NnebGZ1A ) and upload softcopy links (content of CD/DVD/Pen Drive) within 16 th August 2023 and make sure that someone can access your file after clicking on your link. Because this link will be sent to the head office of IGNOU for future verification.

2. Only those candidates who have filled the Term-end-exam form of June:2023 for MJML-020 and MJML-021 viva voce (practical examination), only those candidates will fill this registration form.

3.       After collecting data then the study centre prepares a schedule and sends it to regional centre Kolkata (28) for approval. after finalized then upload viva schedule in  our website of IGNOU-2842 or send to your register email.

4.       Students will report to the IGNOU study center-2842 on the specified day and time according to the practical viva time schedule. Viva schedule will be uploaded on our website after being approved by IGNOU RC-Kolkata.

5.       Carry your IGNOU Identity Card when visiting for viva test.

6.       Candidates must bring their hard copy of Portfolio (MJML-20 & MJML-21) and Softcopy content of CD/DVD/Pen Drive (MJML-20 & MJML-21) for audio-visual and viva voce test. If these are submitted at the study center-2842 then they must be collected from the center on the day of examination.

Notice regarding Term-end-Examination:December,2022

Term-End-Examination: December, 2022 will start from 2nd December, 2022 and it will continue till the 9th January,2023. Therefore, the examinee are informed that before visiting the exam hall, they should bring their IGNOU Identity card and Hall ticket (compulsory for all examinees) with them, and they are informed to take the exam by maintaining face mask and distance according to the covid-19 protocol. The study center will be open from next 2nd December,2022 to 9th January,2022 according to the examination schedule and for this reason study center will be closed on Sundays (Study centre close dates are 04.12.2022, 11.12.2022, 18.12.2022, 25.12.2022, 01.01.2023, 08.01.2023) during the examination period.
