Perception का हिंदी अर्थ अनुभूति होता है यानि जीवन में हम विभिन्न वस्तुओं, जगहों या व्यक्तियों के जब संपर्क में आते हैं तो उनसे जुड़कर हमें एक अनुभव प्राप्त होता है । उन अनुभवों पर आधारित हम धारणाएं बनाते हैं जिन्हें परसेप्शन या प्रत्यक्षीकरण कहा जाता है ।

चलिए इसे कुछ उदाहरणों के माध्यम से समझते हैं । नीचे मैं 2 ऐसे उदाहरण दे रहा हूं जिसकी मदद से आप अच्छे से समझ जायेंगे कि अनुभूति या धारणा क्या है ।

1. Perception on dowry system in India

सबसे पहला उदाहरण हम dowry यानि दहेज को लेते हैं । भारत में मुख्य रुप से दहेज लिया और दिया जाता है । Statista की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, वर्ष 2020 में भारत में दहेज प्रथा से जुड़े कुल 6,966 केसेस दर्ज हुए थे । अब को दहेज ले या से रहे हैं और जो लोग इस प्रथा का विरोध करते हैं, उन दोनों की धारणा दहेज प्रथा को लेकर अलग अलग होंगी ।

जो लोग दहेज लेते हैं उनका परसेप्शन ( अनुभूति/धारणा ) यह है कि वे इसे सही मानते हैं । अक्सर आपने सुना होगा कि दहेज इसलिए ही लिया जा रहा है क्योंकि यह लड़की के भी काम आएगा या लड़के की पढ़ाई लिखाई पर हम लोगों ने इतना ज्यादा खर्च किया, किसलिए ? दूसरा पक्ष है जो इस प्रथा के खिलाफ है और उनकी दहेज को लेकर धारणा1 अलग है ।

जो इस प्रथा के खिलाफ हैं, उनका perception है कि दहेज लेना लड़की के माता पिता को बर्बाद करने का एक तरीका है । लड़की कोई सामान नहीं है जिसे रूपए देकर खरीदा जाए और यह प्रथा बंद होनी चाहिए । तो इस केस में आप देख सकते हैं कि सबके पास हर घटना/व्यक्ति/वस्तु को लेकर अलग अलग धारणाएं या अनुभूतियां हैं ।

2. Perception on Indian Independence

चलिए अब दूसरा उदाहरण देखते हैं । हमरा देश भारत के स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन और भारत को आजाद कराने के लिए जिनकी मुख्य भूमिकाएं थीं, उनपर बंटा हुआ है । एक वर्ग का यह मानना है कि भारत में आजादी गांधीजी और अन्य लोगों द्वारा अहिंसा का मार्ग अपना कर मिली । इनका मानना है कि भारत की आजादी में सबसे बड़ा श्रेय गांधीजी का था । यह भी एक धारणा या perception ही है ।

देश में दूसरा वर्ग है जिनका कहना है कि देश की आजादी में सबसे बड़ा योगदान सुभाषचंद्र बोस, भगत सिंह, चंद्रशेखर आजाद का है । हिंसा एकमात्र मार्ग था ताकि अंग्रेजों को इस देश से खदेड़ा जाए । यह इनका परसेप्शन ही है । तो ये धारणाएं बनीं कैसे ? अनुभव के आधार पर । जरूरी नहीं कि ये अनुभव स्वयं के हों, किसी अन्य के विचार, अनुभूतियां, अनुभव भी इंसान को काफी प्रभावित करती हैं ।

धारणाएं या अनुभूति कैसी होती है ?

धारणाएं जिसे मनोविज्ञान की भाषा में प्रत्यक्षीकरण भी कहते हैं, वह 3 प्रकार की हो सकती हैं ।

• न सही, न गलत

Dowry system in India के केस में जो लोग दहेज लेना सही ठहराते हैं, उनका परसेप्शन बिल्कुल गलत है । वे अपने अनुभवों, ज्ञान और यादों के सहारे यह धारणा बनाते हैं कि दहेज लेना सही है । लेकिन, दूसरा पक्ष दहेज लेने के बिल्कुल खिलाफ है इसलिए उनका परसेप्शन सही है ।

परंतु, Indian Independence वाले केस में दोनों वर्गों की धारणाएं अपने अपने जगह बिल्कुल सही हैं । आप किसी एक को गलत नहीं ठहरा सकते । मान लीजिए कि दो बच्चे हैं और दोनों सुबह 6 बजे सोकर उठते हैं । अब एक बच्चा कहता है कि अरे मैं तो बहुत जल्दी उठ गया और दूसरा कहता है कि मैंने उठने में देरी कर दी । यहां दोनों का परसेप्शन/प्रत्यक्षीकरण/धारणा गलत नहीं है ।

आत्मविश्वास का अर्थ होता है स्वयं पर विश्वास। किसी भी कार्य को करने के लिए व्यक्ति का स्वयं पर विश्वास होना अति आवश्यक है क्योंकि इस विश्वास के सहारे ही वह उस कार्य में सफलता प्राप्त कर सकता है। आत्म विश्वास सफलता की सबसे बड़ी पूँजी है।

आत्म विश्वास की उत्पति

कुछ लोगों में आत्म विश्वास बचपन से ही होता है जबकि कुछ लोगों में आत्म विश्वास समय के साथ उत्पन्न होता है। माता पिता को चाहिए कि वह बच्चों को हमेशा प्रोत्साहित करे और उनके आत्म विश्वास को बढ़ाए। स्कूल में अध्यापक भी बच्चों को विभिन्न गतिविधियों में भाग लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हैं और उन्हें उनके हूनर के बारे में बता उस क्षेत्र में उनका अत्मविश्वास बढ़ाते हैं। व्यक्ति को खुद भी किसी भी कार्य को करने के लिए अपने उपर विश्वास करना चाहिए और दृढ़ इच्छा शक्ति रखनी चाहिए।

जिस व्यक्ति में आत्म विश्वास होता है सफलता उस व्यक्ति के कदम चुमती है। हर क्षेत्र में लोग उसी व्यक्ति को पसंद करते है जो विश्वास से भरा हो और दिए हुए कार्य को करने में सक्षम हो और अपनी बात लोगों को आसानी से समझा सके। जिस व्यक्ति में आत्म विश्वास होता है वह अकेला ही सौ के बराबर होता है। इतिहास में बहुत से ऐसे व्यक्ति हुए है जिन्होंने अपनी मेहनत और आत्म विश्वास को बल पर ही सफलता को प्राप्त किया है।

आत्मविश्वास का ज्ञान होते ही मनुष्य में दुगुना बल आ जाता है । हनुमान् जब अपने साथियों के साथ सीता की खोज में निकले तो पहाड़, जंगल, मैदान छान मारे; परन्तु सीता का पता न लगा। आगे समुद्र आ गया । सब थककर चूर हो चुके थे । वहीं धम्म से बैठ गये । वे सोचने लगे कि अब क्या करें ? उस समय जाम्बवान् ने ललकारा। उसने हनुमान् के आत्मविश्वास को जगाया। आत्मविश्वास का बोध होते ही हनुमान् की शक्ति के सामने समुद्र की शक्ति तुच्छ हो गई । अपनी बाँहों के बल पर हनुमान् समुद्र को तैरकर लंका में जा पहुँचे ।

आत्मविश्वासी चाहे लकड़हारा हो या लुहार, किसान हो या गड़रिया, वैज्ञानिक हो या नाविक – वह भरोसे का आदमी होता है । वह इज्जत के लायक आदमी होता है । वह आत्म- विश्वासी दृढ़ मनुष्य होता है । वह फौलाद का बना हुआ होता है । ऐसा मनुष्य अपनी पत्नी तथा बच्चों के लिए आवश्यकता पड़ने पर अपना सारा धन लुटा सकता है । अपने पड़ोसियों के लिए वह जी खोलकर खर्च कर सकता है । अपने देश और देश- वासियों के लिए वह सारे जीवन की कमाई कुर्बान कर सकता है । भामाशाह ने ऐसा ही किया था ।

आत्मविश्वासी विद्यार्थी को अपनी सफलता पर अटूट विश्वास होता है । वह कमजोर विद्यार्थी की उदारता से सहायता करता है । आत्मविश्वासी मजदूर नौसिखिये को काम का ढंग सिखाकर अपना मित्र बना लेता है । आत्मविश्वासी कारीगर बहुत से नये कुशल कारीगर तैयार कर देता है ।

आत्मविश्वास के बल पर एक व्यापारी थोड़ी पूँजो से व्यापार चलाकर बड़े से बड़ा उद्योग खड़ा करने में सफल हो जाता है । वह आत्मविश्वास के ही बल पर अनगिनत लोगों के लिए जीविका के साधन पैदा कर देता है । जीविका यानी रोजगार देने से बढ़कर सहायता दूसरी नहीं हो सकती ।

आत्मविश्वास से अपनी सहायता आप करने की हिम्मत पैदा होती है । आत्मविश्वास के बल पर मनुष्य कठोर से कठोर धरती पर भी हल चला लेता है । आत्मविश्वासी कहता है- ‘मुझे कठिन काम दीजिए । मैं उसे करूँगा ।’
