Essay on Man is the architect of his own fate

essay on man is the architect of his own fate

There is a class of men who think that everything is pre-determined in life and, however much you may try, you cannot get out of that groove. So even your best efforts cannot yield more gains than those God has already settled for you, for fate rules supreme. Even great Shakespeare had said – there is a divinity that shapes our will. Man cannot change this fortune. What is lotted cannot be blotted or avoided.

But there is another school of opinion, that is more reasonable in this age of science, that a man has powers and parts to build his own career. The efforts of a resolute and steadfast worker are sure to be crowned will success in the long run. If the students who get plucked once discontinues his effort with the belief that it is his settled lot not to pass this examination, wells to him destiny is supreme. But if he tries again and again with greater determination and devotion to his studies, he will certainly pass next time. Fate has certainly endowed every man with some powers. His duty is to turn to use those powers. It is quite likely that in God’s good time he will come out successful. Indeed, fortune favours the brave, the active and diligent man. So Rastra Guru Surendranath Banerjee used to say ‘knock and the door will open for you’, suffer that you can prosper.

Man Is The Architect Of His Own Fate

There is no doubt about the fact that man makes or mars his own fate. Fate does not make the man. Many people think that the course of a man’s life on earth is decided by fate, but this is a wrong idea. A man’s future depends on his own self. If he wastes his time in idleness, or depends too much on others or loses heart in the face of difficulties, he will fail in life. If, on the other hand, he makes proper use of his time and opportunities, and follows his aim in life with patience and perseverance, success is sure to come to him. Even ordinary abilities will bring him success if he makes good use of them. If man were not the master of his own fate, he would not have succeeded in annihilating early distances through the discovery of the wheel. He is after now mastering the secrets of outer space to transport him into space to experience a new mode of living. Man wishes to exploit the resources of nature through continuous research and development in the realm of technology. He has made the best use of his intellect. That is why he has access to modern conveniences of living. That shows the writ of man lies in his own hands. He is not a playful tool in the hands of fate. He shapes his own fate in the world. Shakespeare supports this view. One of the characters in ‘Julius Caesar’ addresses Brutus by saying: ‘Fault lies not in our stars, but in our own selves that we are underlings’. It is a realistic observation. Stars are powerless to determine the fate of human beings. It is a different matter that those who possess a weak will fall prey to superstitions and begin to ascribe their failures to external forces of nature. In fact, history abounds with examples of men rising to greatness from a humble beginning merely by their own exertions. Man is the master of his own destiny. It is he who makes or unmakes it. On the other hand, we often come across men endowed with abilities failing in life. This is because they did not make proper use of their time and opportunities but wasted them in idleness. Their abilities thus got rusted and hence became useless. So it is we that make or mar ourselves, or our fate.

Fate In All The Pretty Horses

In life, ones fate is already set. The choices one makes influence everything else in their life. Often, fate throws unexpected situations at you and one must learn how to interpret the reasoning behind it. Many believers in fate think for every bad situation that occurs a positive one will follow. Fate is something that you can’t control. All actions whether they may be in the past, present, or future occur because they are meant to. Everything happens for a reason, and everyone handles situations differently.

As the author said, sometimes the fate can be changed by choice you make. It encourages the reader that it is always possible to change and fix destinies before it is too late. One important quote that the author wrote is, “This book is meant to show us how... our destinies can be determined by a single stumble down the wrong path , or a tentative step down the right one." (Moore xiv).

There was nothing they could do to change that. Therefore, they should accept the fate and give up hope. In Source A, the author struggled to sell his writing. Fate In A Christmas Carol By Edgar Allen Poe

Although several aspects of life are predetermined, there are moments people have control over their fate. For example, no one has control over death, and even though many refuse their undeniable fate, it cannot be avoided. However, there are choices we make that mold our future, thus, changing our fate. On various occasions, there will be a fork in one’s path, and that person will have to choose which journey to take. In life, there are small, ineffective decisions you have to resolve, but there are also larger, life altering choices. Of course, others may feel the same way about fate, or entirely different. In fact, since the beginning of time, authors of literature have discussed their ideas on such matters, a few examples being Dr. Seuss, Charles Dickens, and Edgar Allen Poe. These authors, famous for their thought provoking literary work, provide differing opinions on the fate and destiny of a human being through the use of allegory.

Fate seems to defy humanity at every turn.  A man may have his life planned out to the last second, but then some random force intervenes and he dies the second after he has completed his life plan.  Some believe in fate, believing that our lives are predetermined from the moment we are born.  Other people believe that everything is random, the result of some god rolling the dice in a universal poker game.  Still other people believe that each and every person is in total control of his or her destiny, every step of the way.  Who is to say which viewpoint is false?  Every culture has a unique perception of the role of fate in our lives, and no group has the "right answer," simply a

Does Democracy Work?

In the case that politicians do not live up to the ideals and criteria they were chosen for, a merit of democracy is that it allows the citizenry to punish these officials – not necessarily through extreme forms like impeachment, but perhaps by simply electing someone else in the forthcoming election. A Successful Man As A Self Made Man

The self-made man is often portrayed as a story of rags to riches. A person who overcomes any obstacle thrown at him/her and defies all odds. These stories incite a reaction in readers, often leaving them in awe. How can a person become so successful, even though the universe is seemingly against them? The truth Malcolm Gladwell uncovered in his novel “Outliers” is the people at the top of the ladder did not have everything stacked against them. Gladwell says that there is no such concept as a self-made man. Successful people have been helped along the way by a variety of reasons, such as how wealthy their family was, to their birth month. While I feel that there is no such thing as a self-made man because circumstance and motivation are a key factor in how successful one becomes, I feel as if a person’s luck has a lot to deal with them thriving in their career.

Man is the architect of his own fate

Man is the architect of his own fate. self architect

Man is the architect of his own fate means that man can either make or mar his fortune. Youth is the golden season of life. In youth the mind is soft and can be moulded in any form, we like. If the man makes a proper division of his time and does his duties accordingly, he is sure to improve and prosper in life. But if he does otherwise, he is sure to repent later when it is too late. To kill time as a culpable blame- worthy as to commit suicide. For one life is nothing but the sum total of hours, days and years. If we lose the morning hours of life, we shall have to repent afterwards. If we saw a seed at proper time, we shall reap a good harvest when we grow up. In this sense, man is the architect of his own life.

you have rightly mentioned that every ones future les in his own hands .If you want something ,first you have to give something . It is give and take policy. You will not get anything unless you give something so never hesitate to give.

Hi, Your topic is very nice. The description you have given is excellent. It is very true that man is responsible for his own fate. He does all the mistakes and blames the fate for everything. It is not the fate which creates everything. It is his actions that are responsible for whatever he does. If man is good and performs good actions, totally his fate is decided to be good. So always man is responsible for his fate.

Hi, It is cent percent true that man is the architect of his own future. It is he who can make his future and it is he who can even spoil it. Althoug many have knowledge, he definitely tends to make mistakes. He has to try to overcome it rather than blaming others for his own fault. If man wishes, he can work hard and lead a good life for himself as well as his family. If he has no hardworking tendency and wants money, he will definitely not prosper in life. A man should have confidence and courage to face life with all the osbtacles he comes across in his life. Instead of blaming others for his mistakes, if he realises it, then he can prosper in life. Best regards, Mala.

MAN IS THE ARCHITECT OF HIS OWN FATE

Man is distinct from other living beings because of his willpower and intellect. God has bestowed the immense power of rationality and determination upon humankind. Man, if wills with all his heart, can achieve whatever he wishes for. Determination is a pathway to success. If one wants to achieve his/her goals then he/her must adhere to the plan even after countless confrontations with failure. Failure does not depend upon fate. Indeed, fate is just an imagination of the human mind to console the heart after every failure. The truth is that man can make his own fate.

Nothing is impossible in this world. Humankind has accomplished many tasks that were considered impossible in the past. Tommy Lasorda has rightly said that “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man’s determination.” Failures do affect our aims, but people who swap their aims just because of one failure are the most cowardly ones. When determination combines with hope then success is guaranteed. Fate has nothing to do with the failures and the success. It is the man alone who has to decide which path to choose.

Joyce Alcantara’s poem

Joyce Alcantara’s poem “You Will Never See Me Fall” perfectly sketches the feelings of a determined person. A determined person does not care about his potential; rather he focuses on the goal he set for himself. Life is not easy, everyone has to confront failures, but such unwanted failures must not shake the determination. If one keeps struggling despite the hard times he/she soon will reach the destination. The poem has very strong lines:

“You may see me struggle…

but you will NEVER see me fall.”

An Oscar-winning film Hollywood, Cast Away (2000), is also an amazing depiction of an endless struggle for life and goal. The film portrays a FedEx executive who was deserted on an island due to a plane crash. He, after many years of struggles and hurdles, returns to his hometown. He kept on trying to go back and finally succeeded in his task.

People with unshaken determination and strength to keep trying until they meet the end are always destined to be successful. In all aspects of life, every person yearns to get the best. Everyone wants to struggle for the betterment of life. For this, everyone is bound with endless struggle. Therefore, if the struggle is an important aspect of life then it must be done with all strength and will. Shuddering back from difficulties and hurdles of life are the habits of non-successful people. Such people can never attain anything in their life. e are still using at present. The industrial revolution has played an important role in extending an individual’s potential. You Are the Architect of Your Own Destiny

You Are the Architect of Your Own Destiny Essay

  • Introduction
  • There is no difficulty for the man of firm determination
  • Story of the carpenter body
  • Fortune favors the brave

The maxim means in simple English that the fortune of a man depends upon his own self; he can make or mar according as he wishes. In other word, the destiny of a man lies in his own hands and he can be successful if he only wills it. God endowed with all those qualities, which are essential for greatness, has sent out man to this world. It is up to man to utilize these qualities. If he puts his whole heart into his work and makes the best use of his talents, he cannot but be successful in life. He only courts failure, if he does not do this.

A man who possesses a strong will and a firm determination finds all difficulties solved. To him there are a thousand ways open to steer clear of all dangers and difficulties. Such a man goes on working hard with a strong resolution and an unshaken will, which achieves success and makes his fortune. It is the height of folly to suppose that wealth; fame or power comes to a man by his sitting at home and only asking for it. A person must be persevering and must exert himself if he wants to shape out his destiny. He who fails to bring the strength of mind and industry to bear upon his work in life has nothing but suffering and troubles as his lot. If a man cannot achieve wealth and fortune unless he works hard and unless he has a powerful will, it follow that he is the builder of his own fortune. He can make his fortune if he wishes to do so, by being industrious and persevering. He can also bring misery and suffering upon himself if he has not the wish to labour.[the_ad id=”17141″]

The well-known story of the carpenter-boy shows how even impossible things are made possible and how one’s destiny can be completely changed by an iron will. A carpenter-boy was one day found hard at work in repairing a chair and polishing it. One of his neighbours, who were watching him at his work, ridiculed him for his taking so many pains. The boy replied to his neighbour’s ridicule by saying that there was a motive behind his action. He was polishing it so carefully because he would one day sit upon it. The neighbor laughed at his idea, but what was his surprise when he found that the boy, by dint of, perseverance and strength of will, rose to be a magistrate and actually sat upon the chair, which he had himself mended. The carpenter-boy by his own efforts changed his destiny of remaining a poor carpenter all his life.

Every man reaps the result of his own actions. If he is active, he will be rewarded for his activity and if he is idle, he will have to suffer for his idleness. Many men have a tendency to sit idle for they say it is impossible to do anything against fate. But there can be nothing so foolish to believe that luck or destiny makes one’s fortune. We all known that Fortune favours the brave, and there is no exaggeration in this. Fortune comes only to those who have the capacity to face dangers without shrinking and who are not disheartened by failure. In other words, those who are active and work with a determination can only come by fortune. This is the same as saying that only those who have a strong desire to win fortune can be favored by it. To trust to fate and remain inactive is nothing but cowardice, and it is idle to expect that fortune will ever favour such cowards. To suppose that other persons or powers can be of help to promote one’s well-being or give one a fortune only proves one’s weakness. This is never possible. It rests entirely with every individual to shape his own ends.

It is thus clear that man cannot improve his condition in life or get fame and fortune, unless he wills it and acts in accordance with his wish. It is out of the question to hope for success by doing nothing and only dreaming of wealth and renown. It is only the weak and feeble-hearted who lay blame at the door of their failures, for which their own idleness and negligence alone are responsible. Those who exert their will are sure to find that fortune is theirs, and their examples as also of those who are fatalists will prove beyond the shadow of doubt that it depends upon every man to improve his position in life or spoil it according to as he wishes.

Every Man Is the Architect of His Own Future Essay Example

  • Type: Essay

We all have an idea of where we would like our futures to lie but is this really achievable? When we come into this world are futures are partly determined by our family situation and general environment. As we grow older, we start to make more individual choices about how we would like our lives to proceed. We face challenges and decision making that will sculpt our pathway through life. The outcomes of these decisions are never fully in our control, and they never will be, it is how we deal with them that can determine what could happen in our future.

Our Living and working environments have a huge influence upon our personal decision making. It is up to us as individuals to decide if we want to break free from things that we deem oppre

ssive. Some people have this quality, and others simply don’t have the strength of character or inclination to change and are just happy with their ‘job lot’ in life. How people decide to approach life can depict how they live their lives. Take into consideration the common expression “Is the glass half empty or half full? ” The answer to this question seems to divide people into two simple categories.

Those with a positive outlook and those with a negative outlook. People who are self-motivated, confident and positive tend to forge forward in life, whilst those who are timid, insecure and with a more negative aspect towards life tend to be less high achievers. We all have the tendency to map out our lives in our minds, how we see ourselves in our future. Tha

can be with regards to a career choice, family plans or personal goals. Everybody has a wish list. Whilst we can make decisions to move towards these aspirations it is impossible to know if we will achieve any of them.

Outside influences are continually brushing up against our personal lives and this makes our future unpredictable and exciting. Life-changing events can influence people’s personalities. Some of these changes we decide and implement, and then we have to live with the consequences of our decisions. However, other events happen that are completely out of our control and are forced upon us through no fault of our own. It is through such events and how people decide to deal with them that can depict where their future lie.

For example, when a life threatening situation occurs and a person survives, it can make them re-asses their priorities. This can give them a jolt into radically changing their approach to life, usually in a positive way. Things that have been taken for granted can suddenly come in to sharp focus. Other people on the other hand can be thrown in to a deep depression. Every person has influence on their own personal life, but many factors will always be totally out of your control. It is how you deal with this fact of reality that makes you who you are and how your future will unravel.

Throughout history, the concept of fate has been a common theme among works of literature and man's thought in general. Does he have the ability to choose his path through life, or is his destiny laid out before him? This question takes on new meaning in modern society, as people try to make their own choices while conforming to the structure of society and its norms. While society, with its customs and laws, seems to limit a person's freedom, the person is still essentially free to make their own choices.…

Persuasive Essay On Macbeth

Ever taken a test, and believed with utmost confidence that you would succeed even though not much studying or effort was put into the topic prior to the test? And funny enough you come out with a high score although the odds would say otherwise. I personally am a strong believer that we carve the paths to our own destiny, and that fate isn’t a sealed, but rather is driven by our present thoughts and actions. While we control the ultimate outcome of our timely uncertain future, all we can do is guide ourselves to the most beneficial outcome for us and those around us. This can be seen in Shakespeare’s work Macbeth, where the main character Macbeth was told multiple times what he was gonna become. And through repetition in his thoughts and over-analyzation, he was able to realize that he really did want what the witches had foreseen for him in the future. So he did anything at his grasp to become what he had been told he was gonna be, by tyranting down a path of pain and backstabbing for him and all his…

What Is Free Will In Macbeth

For centuries, there has been lots debate on whether or not there is such thing as fate or free will. To this day, people are trying to decide if one’s life is already laid out for him/her and that if no matter what he/she does that it will still unfold in a preset way, in which that they cannot change, or if one has free will and the ability to completely change his/her life. In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the main character, Macbeth, is not doomed by fate, but by free will. In particular, Shakespeare’s Macbeth demonstrates that it is not fate that determines one's life as it is one's flaws and choices. This is illustrated through Macbeth himself, who, first, makes the choice of not listening to his conscience, which continuously makes…

There are other, more substantial decisions like choosing which college to attend or whether or not it is the right time to buy a home. Depending on the size of the decision and influence, everything that happens in one’s life could be crucial moments that determine the final outcome of one’s life. This was seen in Rudolfo Anaya’s Bless Me, Ultima and Bernard Malamud’s The Natural. Both author’s used the main characters to show that one’s future is determined by the choices made throughout life, and the outside influences that guide the choices. Anaya and Malamud use other’s expectations, other’s guidance, and decisions made as significant points that help determine the outcome of the main character’s future.…

The Alchemist - Personal Legend

In my life, I’ve made some good and some bad decisions. I doubt that anyone can perfectly predict my life down to every small detail. I choose to do what I do. For example, I either choose to do my work or choose not to. Or when I take a test and I score low and then I retake the test again a week later without looking over the material again, and fail this time; that’s not destiny. It was my decision that caused that outcome to happen. I choose not to study and I won’t be prepared to take the same test that I already took. Since, I didn’t correct what I got wrong, I’ll probably get it wrong again. It wasn’t fate that made me fail; it was my decision, my laziness and ill will.…

Sometimes People Are Unable to Control the Directions Their Lives Take.

Sometimes people are unable to control the direction their lives take. This can be a hard concept to grasp, but one needs to understand that one cannot control every single detail or event in one’s life, and also cannot possibly predict what will happen in the future. Obstacles of every kind will strike, whether these trials come in the form of day to day hardships, catastrophic natural disasters, or even the fate of the gods. The only thing one can really do is adapt to the new situation and try to move forward.…

Romeo and Juliet Freewill vs. Fate

Every waking moment we are faced with decisions that – whether big or small – make different types of impacts on our lives and others. Although it was Shakespeare who made it seem so the characters had no free will, within real life our fate isn’t written for us. Every decision is another opportunity to change the paths of our outcome. Characters such as Romeo, Friar Laurence, and Lady Capulet are faced with the conflicts that fate presents them, in which they use their free will to take action upon.…

Free Will Julius Caesar Research Paper

People say that fate is unavoidable, but, through my personal experiences, it has come to my realization that one’s fate is in their own hands. A person’s actions determine their fate, which is why I believe that life is essentially defined by a person’s free will. An instance in my life, when my fate was being defined by my actions was when I moved from Jersey City to Erie. Since I did not approve of this move, my thoughts made me believe that what was about to happen was just life being unfair, in other words, my fate. Now I have come to understand that this move could have been avoidable; I was given a chance to stay, if only I would have improved my grades and gotten into the high school that my parents wished for me to go to. Alas, I did not take that situation seriously, and I paid the consequences by having to leave my…

There Is No Shortcut to Success

The magic of hard work and perseverance cannot be underestimated. We see in general that people who have succeeded in life have done an immense amount of hard work and their success is we all see, but the effort put in, we fail to measure. We do wonder how he could achieve so much, but it is absolutely certain that achievement has come his way after much of continued effort. Most of us do make efforts but, soon lose heart and leave our projects and this is why we fail to reach the pinnacle of success. It must be clear in our minds that, we never can achieve with just a simple raising of a finger, we have got to put our heart and soul in a particular job and that also with continued vigour in every attempt then only we can hope for any success. Those of us who leave effort midway are obviously left midway by success also, and then we are disheartened and broke, just to ogle jealously at those who have succeeded. If we have the confidence in our effort, there is nothing that can deter us from…

you can find in this post Man Is The Architect Of His Own Future Essay for school going children’s.People do say that what man gets is due to his destiny and fortune and his efforts cannot be the real crafting ingredient in this cause, like many other people I also do oppose this statement because man has the power and the mental strength to craft and to design his own future according to his own preferences and priorities.

Man Is The Architect Of His Own Future Essay

No doubt this is right and is very authentic that what a man gets is due to his destiny and fortune but many people can change their fortune and destiny by their hard work and his commitment so according to the real stats and scenario the most appropriate statement is their concern is that man is the architect of his own future, and what he wants he can obtain that is his upcoming life.

It is not only about the success and the achievements which one can obtain in his future but at the same time the failures and disappointment which one obtain in his life is also due to his own efforts. If the man will work hard and will be very much clear regarding the way to progress and the destination which he is eying for himself than he will overcome all his hurdles and the obstacles which will be coming in the way of his and his mission but contrary to that if the individual is not committed as well is not dedicated towards his own future than he will be responsible for the failures and the unsuccessful life which will be coming ahead, and for that he will be alone to be blamed and responsible for what he achieves form the life, because if he would have inculcated the entire effort and hard work than there would have been no reason for not obtaining the success and getting to his desired vision.

So a man is an architect of his own future and for that blaming others is a very coward and irresponsible action, there is now ambiguity in the fact that there are some external factors which do tends to play an affecting role in the establishment of the future but always blaming the fortune and the destiny for your success and failures is not justified because the human efforts and the hard work never go in vein and always pay off and that is when the man gets the power of changing and modifying the destiny and the fortune in his own favor. So it is in the hands of the human beings whether to craft and construct a very successful future by hard work and commitment or just sit by putting hand on hand and blame the fortune and destiny for your failures.

Order custom essay Every Person Is an Architect of His Own Future with free plagiarism report

First, the future depends on person’s attitude to life.

  •  Inspiring yourself
  • . Doing everything with love

Second, person and only person can create favorable conditions in his or her life.

  • Experience of successful people

However, some people argue that no one can manage the future.

  • The destiny
  • Life circumstances

Meaning of the “Every man is an architect of his future” make the public understand the phrase in different ways. Some people become rich and successful by a chance, while others reach their goals after a long struggle. According to Dahl & Ransom (1999), wealthy people may help to poor people, but they will not make poor people become as rich as they are.

Why they will not make them rich? Someone may say that wealthy man cannot make poor man rich because being poor and being wealthy is the fate. Others may say that living in wealth depends on person: if poor person do not want to be rich, he will not be rich; but he can be wealthy if he really want it. Some people believe in nature’s laws that everything in this world is related and nothing can happen just like you want; while others know that everything in their hands, that they are masters of their life, they are making their destiny by themselves.

Although some people believe that it is quite hard to manage the future because of inevitable fate, there seem to be no doubt that the person and only person is a creator of the future. One of the main reasons for saying that everyone is an architect of his future is the person’s attitude to life. Our future is what we are thinking and doing now. We creating next day by thoughts, wishes, behavior, etc. That is true! There is not only one possible course of events in your life. Every person has several variants of a destiny, and everyone choose the way which he or she wants to follow.

The problem is how people feel about a situation that forces them to make this choice. Almost everyone meet with some obstacles on their life road, and many people see them as something irresistible, irreparable. Others see these obstacles as a challenge. They see them as not a dead end, but the opportunity. In all the events that happen around us, for someone there are opportunities and for others may be “dead end”. For example, Steil (2007) in his article mentioned about a girl, who almost lost the ability to see and move because of accident, weird accident.

Doctors said that the situation is very bad, and many people may give up in her place. However, this girl believed herself and in her strength, she was positively-oriented to everything. It was reflected in her attitude to herself and other people. No matter how the situation was bad, she could struggle with this obstacle and move straight to her goals. Another reason is that the person and only person can create favorable conditions in his or her life. The one of good examples for that are the successful people.

Not getting that promotion can make person feel like the end of the world, but people who are the idols for whole world show that devastating failures are just another stop on the road to success. For example, Marilyn Monroe's first contract with Columbia Pictures expired because they told her she wasn't pretty or talented enough to be an actress. Monroe kept plugging away and now she is one of the most iconic actresses and sex symbols of all time (http://marilynmonroe. com/history/).

Oprah Winfrey was fired from her television reporting job because they told her she wasn't fit to be on screen. But Winfrey rebounded and became the undisputed queen of television talk shows. She's also a billionaire (http://www. oprah. com/index. html). These are the one of the world's greatest success stories of people, who just happen to have experience of massive failure that could have easily made them give-up. But they didn't and now they're the monuments of success that they are remembered for, a good source of encouragement when it feels like you will never make it to the top.

However, some people argue that no one can manage the future because of the destiny and life circumstances. As Conchalovsky says (2005), “For every person, there is a destiny. Nothing happens accidentally, everything happens because of some law or other things. ” There is a nature’s law that everything comes from something, all subjects and objects are related to each other. Another example is inevitable life situations occurring frequently nowadays that can ruin plans of human at anytime. But, as it was written, the attitude to life helps to fight with these situations.

To conclude, our life is complex and unpredictable. Often people think that no one can hide from the fate, that we were born and live on a particular scenario, and that everything what destined above will happen. But few of us have thought about the fact that person creates the future, person’s actions, thoughts, desires and feelings. Always remember that people are the creators of the future, so they must create it with enthusiasm, reveal the creative potential.

Man is the Architect of his own Fate

“Man is the Architect of his own Fate” Mahavir Jain (Vardhaman)

Believe me! Man is the architect of his own Destiny. Many people believe that life is a matter of chance and that experiences and opportunities that arise spontaneously, in addition to being pleasant surprises, are the best way to live and grow personally. These types of people rely more on external events and for that reason, they wait for things to happen.

Simply because they are people who believe in coincidences and that the universe has a great future in store for them.

According to these types of people, you just have to “give time to time” and resist the harshness of your problems in life. After all, “after the storm comes calm”, so the best thing you can do is endure the current difficulties, because sooner or later, “better times will come” for you.

Take care of your habits, because they will become your destiny.” Mahatma Gandhi

The destiny that is written especially for you will find you and you will no longer have the complications that you have now; after all “there is no evil that lasts a hundred years, nobody that can resist it. So one day, whether you like it or not, your troubles will end.

Here’s Be True to Yourself | Love Yourself.

Simply put, extraordinary things in life appear unexpectedly, you simply have to be in one way or another; prepared to make use of the good times that destiny is offering you or will offer you, tomorrow or in a couple of days or years.

“We must act, not to go against destiny, but to go before it.” Hebbel

To all this fanciful and idealistic verbiage, I strongly oppose it.

Success is no accident . Many will be able to respond to me with dozens of biographical references in which a character in the story “had good luck” and due to a happy eventuality, he succeeded in his life. Even the majority will be able to shout to the sky, citing the hundreds of cases in which a person worked hard all his life and in the end did not obtain the great success that his painstaking work should have offered him. However, you might agree with Emily Elizabeth that:

“Good luck is not accidental; it is a product of work.” Emily Elizabeth Dickinson

Obviously, unpredictable lucky, and unfortunate situations happen all the time, but I think these cases are more of an exception to the rule. I simply personally and a true leader, in my opinion, would not believe that coincidences, luck, or fateful destiny should guide my life and my purposes (some even think that destiny will show them what purposes they should have in their lives and which ones not, which never ceases to amaze me).

Man is the Architect of His Own Destiny

“Man is the true creator of his destiny. When he is not convinced of it, he is nothing in life.” Gustavo Le Bon

I believe in forging a physical and psychological discipline to improve and grow as a person. I believe that the best way to ensure your “destiny” in life is to create it and that the best way to predict your future is by doing everything possible to make the things you want to happen. No doubt, some sudden happenings and changes in nature can dispute things within a fraction of a second, but here we are talking about success, which is rarely possible without hard work.

Here are the 3 Basic Tips to become Successful in Life .

Man is the Architect of His Own Destiny:

In my opinion, we are in this world to create opportunities for ourselves, not to wait for them to magically come to us. In addition, I think that you do not have to be excessively controlling to stop believing in destiny and that you do not have to be a psycho-rigid person who yearns to be in control of everything that happens. You can have adventures, “live in the moment” and do things spontaneously, but I assure you that those things will not guarantee that your dreams will come true, even though they are a fundamental component in the life of any person.

Some people will tell me that it is simply necessary to be prepared and that luck will do the rest but does not being prepared negate that something is due to luck?

“There are no secrets to success. In practice, all theories collapse. It all comes down to luck and long patience.” André Maurois (A famous French novelist and essayist)

However, I wrinkle my brow and wonder what does “have a long patience” really means? Should I just sit on my couch and watch TV and wait for the blessings of a good life to fall on me?

Be the Best Version of You | Change yourself to change your Destiny !

Maybe fate will make me watch the best TV show I’ve ever seen, but nothing better than that will happen. Even the most skeptical will agree with me that mere hope and patience guarantee absolutely nothing.

“The most powerful man is the one who is totally in control of himself.” Aristotle

I only see in luck, coincidences, and destiny an accumulation of excuses not to make plans, not to set goals in your life, not to start working on what you want to do. No sensible person who has succeeded in life will tell you that their achievements are only the product of the goodwill of destiny. Will Smith, the famous American rapper, and actor will not tell you that his fame, money, and physical attractiveness are due to happy coincidences and a series of good luck strokes.

Man is the Architect of his own destiny. The myth of destiny is the perfect excuse for inaction, for you to stay right where you are now waiting for predestination to do its thing with your life.

If you still believe in fate, think about what this fantasy is doing to your life. Reflect on how this unhappy idea feeds your passivity and your laziness, telling you that you cannot have a better life than “something” or “someone” has already established, no matter how much or how little you do or what ambitions and dreams you have in your life.

Don’t be a conformist and idealistic person, be someone more pragmatic. Don’t wait for fate to knock on your door when you haven’t even built the door!

The things you want will not come into your life “as if by magic” or “fall from the sky.” You are the architect of your own destiny. In your hands are your personal fulfillment and your most precious goals.

Opportunities will not appear on your way from one moment to the next, you have to intensively build hundreds of paths so that they intersect yours. Be the pilot of your life so that you fly to the destination you want, stop being the casual passenger of destiny, and land where others tell you to. Take a start today, set goals for yourself, and make your dreams come true with hard work, consistency, and self-belief.

It does not depend on a true leader, a party, or an association, because those are ways of structuring reality: it depends on us and on our decision. The longer you wait for your future, the shorter it will be. Stop waiting and build your life, nothing and no one is going to do it for you.

The dilemma is not ideological, it is more one of respect, freedom, closeness, and collaboration, involving people in the forging of their destiny, and this is not the domination of the ruling elite. Historically, it has been the product of the tiresome debate of extreme left or right of the same nature, and in political practice, the ruling elite and their associates have often come out profitable. Let’s understand that this pseudo model is sold out.

In these dark hours for humanity, it is up to us to open paths of hope and set our sights on high. Even in the dark, there will be a beacon of hope.

“Do not grieve partner Already stands out on the mountain, Overflowing the laurels with their rays of luck, A new summer sun, which has flooded the horizon” Unknown

essay on man is the architect of his own fate

We are the architect of our future. Parents, teachers and mentors can show us the correct way and guide us, but we are the one who can find our own destiny of success. It is said that, “Time and tide wait for no men” it means if we have not prepared a schedule of our individual day and waste our precious time, we will have to face a lot of difficulties in the end. It is said that ‘Rome was not built in a day’ so we cannot expect that we have tried today, and the result will be instant. In the way of success everyone will face a lot of difficulties but the one who doesn’t give up, lose hope is the one who will fly. We cannot give up if we fail, we have another chance. If we make a small stroke now, we can achieve something big later. An architect knows how to chisel his own life because he knows the correct path to reach the ladder of success.
