My Hero in History, Muhammad Ali Jinnah

My Hero in History | Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Our history is full of great men. It is natural for men to love their heroes.  History is what great men make it. It is their biography. The great men are the men of outstanding characteristics showing excellent character. They have the power to change the course of life and bring their nation to the highest glory. They are liked and loved by the people.

Hail, ye heroes! The heaven-born band! Who fought and bled for freedom’s cause.

A hero is a man of unparalleled vigor, matchless genius, and unique talent. He has the charismatic qualities of an inspiring leader to lead the nation to its destination in spite of the obstacles he faces on the path to success. Mr.Jinnah’s great struggle spans over forty years He started work as Jinnah and finally developed into the Quaid.

  • Quaid’s struggle can be divided into four distinct but interlinked dimensions.
  • Uniting and leading an oppressed nation
  • Negotiating with the British
  • Countering the political tricks of Hindus
  • Leading a newborn state

Firstly, the Muslims of the sub-continent, who had been its previous rulers, became a rudderless boat. They were disunited, aimless, and had no leader of high caliber. Muhammad Ali Jinnah showed the right political path. It was his love, sincerity, and truthfulness that he became a great leader of Muslims.

There were many factions of Muslims with different political goals. Nevertheless, the larger factions of his community rallied behind him and developed into a single political force led by one man Mr. Jinnah.

So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth.

Secondly, Quaid-e-Azam held talks with the British brilliantly. He held dialogues with Cabinet Mission, Mr. Stafford Cripps, Lord Wavell, and Lord Mountbatten on different occasions to discuss the political future of India. However, he made clear to all of them that could not trap him. He knew their evil designs and replied on the table of talks brilliantly. Mr.Jinnah proved his stance and won the case of Pakistan.

A hugely complicated, centrally planned, social, and economic system can only be kept on the rails for as long as people believe in it.

Thirdly, Mr. Jinnah countered the political tricks of Hindus, especially Mr.Ghandi.Congress tried its best to keep India united and the Muslims under its rule. Our hero knew the Hindus’ tricks in the Khilafat Campaign, the Nehru Report, and their talks with the Muslims.

He knew that Gandhi didn’t have any sympathy with the Khilafat but he has his own axe to grind. Therefore Jinnah remained aloof from it and the time proved his decision right. He scored a tactical victory over Mr.Ghandi during Gandhi Jinnah talks when he established himself as the sole leader of the Muslim community.

We have undoubtedly achieved Pakistan, and that too without bloody war, practically peacefully, by moral and intellectual force and with the power of the pen, which is no less mighty than the sword, and our righteous cause is triumphed.

Finally, the survival of Pakistan was a greater challenge than its formation. Our national hero proved himself great in managing the task there also. Pakistan had no army to defend and establish to run the government. He was a big question mark on the survival of the country. However, he did not get panic. He gave political and constitutional guidelines for Pakistan.

To conclude, heroes never die because their powerful remembrance remains alive in our hearts. They become stronger after their death. Mr.Jinnah is also such a hero in history whose struggle was for a nation.

His objective was clear and his strategy was perfect. His battlefield was politics and his weapon was law. He fought against the British, Hindus, and his ill health. He is undoubtedly the great hero of our nation.

Essay on Allama Iqbal with Quotations

Allama Iqbal was a great poet, philosopher, and visionary who inspired the Pakistan movement. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Pakistan and the spiritual father of the nation. He wrote poetry in Urdu and Persian, expressing his love for Islam, humanity, and his homeland. He also gave the idea of a separate Muslim state in his famous address at Allahabad in 1930. Some of his famous quotations are:

  • “Nations are born in the hearts of poets, they prosper and die in the hands of politicians.”
  • “The ultimate aim of the ego is not to see something, but to be something.”
  • “The worst form of slavery is that which you impose on yourself.”

Allama Iqbal was a man of wisdom and courage, who awakened the Muslims of India from their slumber and motivated them to strive for their freedom and dignity. He was a true leader and a guide for the generations to come.

Essay on Allama Iqbal with Quotations – 200 Words

Allama Iqbal was a nationalist poet who is seen as the national poet of Pakistan. He is widely celebrated for his poetry by Pakistanis and is known as the Poet of the East.

The religions Muslims follow, such as Islam , strive to promote peace and purity for all of God’s creation. However, you might have heard about the bad things that have happened in some countries. The truth is, the people who commit these acts of violence do not represent the vast majority of value-driven Muslims.

Iqbal’s poetry, much of which was translated to Urdu, motivated and inspired the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent during the British Raj. Despite speaking to a whole culture that had been displaced in time from their homeland, his poems have universal appeal and are still widely read.

Words such as “I lead no party,” “follow no leader,” and “the best of my life” instantly create a tone of persuasion with the words “careful study,”

Nations that are captured in the imagination of our poets excel and prosper through the hands of politicians.

Pakistan and India have always had a long-standing rivalry. Muhammad Ali Jinnah never believed that the differences between the two could tear apart their unity. He suggested a Two Nation Theory, which leads to the creation of Pakistan as a separate nation for Muslims.

“The hero is someone who has shown great courage and has saved someone’s life.” (Cambridge Advanced Learners)

Essay on Allama Iqbal with Quotations – 500 Words

The hero is matchless in his outstanding qualities. Allama Iqbal has the potential and courage to change the fate of his country and influence the destiny of the nation for the better. His unwavering willpower leads to success despite overwhelming odds.

“A hero is someone who surpasses expectations, someone who defies the odds.”(Romaine Rolland)

There are people in the world who feel a strong desire to help those in need. Muhammad Ali Jinnah , Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Martin Luther King, and Mother Theresa were some of these people.

“True heroism is a decision you make to be better than the problems facing you. That doesn’t mean they go away, but standing firm and overcoming challenges make your life better.”  (Napoleon)

Among all the great men who have left their imprint on history, my favorite is Allama Muhammad Iqbal. His poetry always soothed my soul and rekindled the spirit of faith within me.

His words were full of religious devotion that brought solace to millions and inspired them to work towards the revival of Islam. Although a poet needed just a single verse to leave an everlasting impression in readers’ minds, Allama Iqbal leaves a much more profound impact.

I am fond of poetry and have been reading Urdu poets like Faiz, Firaq, Iqbal, Ghalib, and others for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t easy at first because the language was entirely new for me.

However, once I learned a bit of Urdu, the rest came naturally. These days I prefer the writings of Iqbal over all others. He taught me more than the language; he showed me how to be a better person.

The creator of the Idea of Pakistan, the poet of the East , and the pioneer in Islamic Philosophy was born in Sialkot on 9th November 1877. After passing the intermediate examination from Murree College, he joined Government College Lahore.

“I lead no party,” “follow no leader,” and “the best of my life” instantly create a tone of persuasion with the words “careful study,”

He had various arguments in his mind for the creation of Pakistan. Quid-e-Azam was one of his distinguished leaders, and he persuaded him to do something for the welfare of Muslims.

He gave speeches to convince the Muslims of India about the importance of Islamic culture and create awareness among them to learn their roots. He was a brave man who gave hope to all Muslims by delivering speeches, letters, etc. It was he who had a strong bond with Quaid-e-Azam.

Although he is often seen as a Muslim poet, Iqbal’s poetry is understandable to people of all religions. His poetry suggests that religion should be a set of standards and values instead of a limited doctrine.

He believes that man can find the highest guidance from the Holy Quran and that the true core of the message is lost in their translation.

It is ridiculous to say that to have no faith in something is worse than slavery. Faith means trust, and trust is the foundation for all ethics.

My Hero in History Essay

A hero is a person volunteering one’s time to help those in need, whether for a person, an organization, or a community. Taking acts with no expectation of remuneration or external advantage. Acceptance and recognition of the probable danger or sacrifice. A hero is someone who gives of himself, often at considerable danger to his own life, for the greater welfare of others.

There have been several historical personalities who stood head and shoulders above their contemporaries. They have changed the direction of a nation, rewritten history, and many have even influenced our current way of life in innovative ways. There have been many outstanding Muslim leaders throughout history, but Imam Ali stands out as the shining star in his constellation.

Place of Birth

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA) was the Islamic prophet Muhammad’s cousin, son-in-law, and friend who ruled as the fourth caliph from 656 until his assassination in 661. He is a pivotal person in Shia Islam, and Shia Muslims see him as the legitimate direct successor to Muhammad as an Imam. Ali was born to Abu Talib and Fatimah bint Asad within the Kaaba in Mecca, Islam’s holiest site. Under Muhammad’s supervision, he was the first male to join Islam. Ali defended Muhammad from a young age and participated in practically every conflict fought by the embryonic Muslim community.

He was quite generous. Despite eventually becoming the leader of Muslims, Muhammad never desired to accumulate goods and lived a humble life. He was always modest and grateful to the Almighty for all the benefits He bestowed upon him. He consistently assisted the underprivileged by donating his fortune to charity. Not only was he a Sahabi, but he also looked to be a brilliant visionary scholar. ‘He lived his life according to Islamic principles and helped humankind.’ He will never give up his support for Islam’s fundamental institutions. Being fair is another feature of his that makes him a role model for all of us, such as how he treated Muslims and non-Muslims equally. He promoted peace, love, and the advancement of humankind. His service to Islam was exceptional, and he was Islam’s greatest gift.

Achievements

Hazrat Ali (RA) was a brilliant caliph and a wonderful friend of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He has several accomplishments and heroic actions to his credit. Some are explained in the following paragraphs: –

  • Hazrat Ali (RA) was completely aware of all of Holy Prophet Muhammad’s courageous actions (SAW). When the Holy Prophet declared himself to be a prophet, Hazrat Ali (RA) attested to His claim and accepted Islam. He was the first Muslim kid in Islamic history.
  • The fourth caliph (RA) fought multiple wars against Islam’s foes. He fought all of these fights valiantly. In Jang-e-Badar, the caliph assassinated Waleed Bin Utah (battle of Badar). He also assassinated the well-known Jewish wrestler “Umaro Bin Abdud” at Jang-e-Khandaq (Trench Battle).
  • Hazrat Ali (RA) remained a distinguished member of Islam’s previous caliphs’ advisory committee. In all areas, his counsel was taken seriously.
  • During his reign, the fourth caliph (RA) observed the laws and restrictions established by the second caliph, Hazrat Umar (RA). He despised notoriety and used to disregard celebrity’s efforts. With his distinct approach, the fourth caliph promoted democracy. He always regarded the government treasury as public property and used it wisely for the general good. Nobody ever showed favoritism to the fourth caliph.

Police Department Reforms

The fourth caliph expanded his army and built various cantonments for it. He also boosted the number of police officers and implemented several changes in the police force. These cops were known as Ashurta, and their commander was known as Sahib-e-Ashurta. The Ashurtas were tasked with preserving law and order, investigating and controlling crimes, and ensuring the security of trade hubs.

Hazrat Ali’s bravery (RA)

Hazrat Ali (RA) enjoys the distinction of taking part in all Ghazwat ceremonies (battles). Ghazwat denotes “the war in which the Holy Prophet (SAW) personally participated.” Some of his daring deeds are described in the following paragraphs: –

  • Battle of Badar

During every adversity, Hazrat Ali (RA) stood shoulder to shoulder with Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He took part in several Ghazwat (battles) and shown his bravery and commitment to the Holy Prophet (SAW). The Holy Prophet (SAW) chose three brave companions from the Bani Hashim clan for the Fight of Badar (the first battle of Islam). Hazrat Ali (RA) was chosen for the battle of Badar with Hazrat Hamza (RA) and Hazrat Obaida (RA). In this battle, he slew Islam’s most infamous foe, Waleed, in an instant.

  • Battle of Ohad

The Muslims seemed to have vanquished Ohad in the first phase of the fight. During this fight, the Holy Prophet (SAW) was injured. During the struggle, Hazrat Ali (RA) cared after Him. He administered first assistance to the Holy Prophet (SAW).

  • Battle of Khyber

Nonbelievers have traditionally occupied the Khyber fort. Before the battle of Khyber, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) assured the companions that He would pass up the fort’s flag to a valiant companion the next day. The following day, Hazrat Ali (RA) fought valiantly and overcame the Khyber fort. After the victorious fight, he seized the flag of Khyber fort from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Change of capital

The capital of Islamic nations was relocated from Madina to Kofa by Hazrat Ali (RA). This decision was made to facilitate the execution of administrative directives. However, some disloyal persons caused issues for his government there. As a result, the difference amongst Muslims began from there. Muslims were separated into several factions. These issues were properly solved by Hazrat Ali (RA).

All of Hazrat Ali’s traits motivate me, including honesty, patience, assisting everyone, being giving and kind to others, and being grateful to Allah for everything He has blessed us with. I will undoubtedly incorporate all of these characteristics into my everyday life in order to live a virtuous life like the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and Hazrat Ali (A.S).
