  1. F.E.A.R.

Movie review of F.E.A.R., directed by Geoff Reisner, Jason Tobias, and starring Marci Miller, Jason Tobias, Danny Ruiz. Directed by Geoff Resiner and set in the desolate regions of Pacific Northwest, Fear is an edge of your seat zombiefied thriller that pushes all the right buttons even if it needs another pass with the dialogue in order to really work with its B-movie intentions.

  3. FEAR (2021) Review

FEAR opens promisingly enough with Ethan trying to teach Josh how to take out a zombie. Unfortunately, the boy's fear gets the best of him and things get out of hand. Equally, unfortunately, that's pretty much the last time you see zombies until the last few minutes of the film. We then get a half hour of talk and flashbacks to better times ...

  4. F.E.A.R. (2021)

The "film director" with one review thinks throwing words like "metaphor" can save this movie - No, sorry Jim, not convinced! Movie started off quite well with a promising albeit worn; but not quite dead yet it seems, hoary old chestnut of a theme, no zombies either folks , more 28 days later fast moving, rabid, brainless cannibals - Still we like, even if the makeup was slightly pants, it was ...

  5. Fear Movie Review

Parents need to know that Fear is a cliched horror movie set during COVID about a group of friends who gather in a remote cabin, only to find themselves haunted by an evil being that's out to steal their souls. Violence is gory and intense, with deaths, stabbings, sliced neck and wrist, quite a bit of blood, a a drowning, fighting, nightmares, creepy imagery, jump-scares, and more.

  6. Fear Street Part One: 1994 movie review (2021)

The most fun parts of "1994" display a strong balance of the brutal and the playful, and yet while its energy is a developing charm of the series, it's the overall tone created by Janiak that's the most impressive. "Fear Street Part One: 1994" offers a few changes to slasher tropes—perhaps most of all that it transparently cares about ...

  7. Fear Movie Review

Parents need to know that Fear is a "creepy boyfriend" thriller in the Cape Fear and Fatal Attraction mode, but geared toward teens. Deon Taylor, contemporary Hollywood's chief purveyor of the mid-budget adult thriller, overstuffs his latest movie, 'Fear,' with so many ideas, it fails to generate any scares of its own.

  15. Fear Street Part Three: 1666 movie review (2021)

Fear Street Part Three: 1666. Leigh Janiak ends her "Fear Street" movies with a triumphant finale, and a sizable spoiler warning. Given the plotting of this trilogy, to talk about "Fear Street Part Three: 1666" in much detail feels like giving up a third act of a story. The biggest revelations are in the first hour, so I'll tread lightly.

  16. Fear Street Part Two: 1978 movie review (2021)

The deeper horror to these movies is about being stuck in an existence you can't escape, in which everyone looks down at you, and which makes you hate yourself and others more—also known in "Fear Street" as being from Shadyside. "1978" foregrounds this self-loathing and focuses on characters with even more angst than those we saw in "1994," as with Ziggy ().
