Essay on Mother's Love

Essay on Mother’s Love (1100+ Words)

The bond between a mother and child is unparalleled. From the moment a child is born, a mother is born alongside them. The child gazes up at their mother, observing her every move and eagerly imitating her actions. The mind of a child is sharp, and they emulate their mother’s activities with great enthusiasm. The mother assumes the responsibility of caring for her child in all aspects, including their health, clothing, diet, entertainment, education, sports, and the development of their competitive spirit. Through love and affection, the mother captures the heart of the child.

Mothers play an extraordinary role in shaping the lives of their children. They mold their character through their own exemplary deeds, gradually stepping back and allowing their children to find their own path. The foundation laid by a mother, built on affection, perseverance, discipline, guidance, and even tears, enables her children to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. It is the mother who shapes her child into a noble individual through her wise, insightful, and graceful actions. The mother motivates her child to learn by embracing activities that foster character development and personal growth, creating a natural environment for their education.

At times, mothers may resort to strict measures to discipline their children and impart valuable lessons. They may withhold food, prohibit engagement in undesirable activities, or even resort to physical punishment. While these actions may seem harsh, their underlying intention is one of love and concern. The mother’s ultimate desire is to see her child grow into a capable and independent individual, free from inadequacies.

There are mothers who break societal norms and possess the confidence and inspiration to guide and correct their children. They employ modern scientific knowledge and theories on child development, which profoundly impact their children’s outlook on life. Regardless of the strategies employed, the mother’s influence profoundly shapes the child’s life, helping them develop their own destiny. The greatest achievement for a mother is witnessing her child grow into a courageous individual, capable of respectable accomplishments, thanks to her teachings on the values of integrity, sacrifice, and tolerance. An ideal mother never encourages her child to live as a dependent creature, relying on charity and assistance from others.

Motherhood can be described in terms of sacrifice. A mother willingly sets aside her own comforts and works tirelessly to provide her child with nourishment, clothing, and quality education. She endeavors to earn money and promises her child a bright future. This inherent quality of selflessness is found wholly in a mother. She assumes the responsibilities of motherhood from her child’s earliest years and remains a trusted advisor throughout their life. It is of utmost importance that we hold our mothers in deep respect and pay them the highest regard, not simply because they are mothers, but for their unmatched devotion and incredible sacrifices towards us.

A mother encompasses everything meaningful in our lives. She is the one who understands us intimately and stands as our closest companion in everyday endeavors and challenges. Sometimes, she shoulders an immense burden, working under tension, to support us personally and professionally, helping us overcome obstacles in our work or business. We owe our mothers our deepest gratitude for everything they do for us.

The words of George Washington, the first President of America, and Lord Buddha resonate with the incredible significance of mothers throughout history. Both Washington and Buddha recognized the profound impact mothers have on shaping their children’s lives. Mothers have been and continue to be a source of unconditional love, protection, and guidance.

However, in today’s society, the values and emotions children hold toward their mothers are diminishing. The allure of materialism and external displays of grandeur overshadow the intrinsic values and feelings that should define our relationships with our mothers. Although we celebrate Mother’s Day each year in May and send greetings on the occasion, there are cases where children, especially those who are independent and living far away, may unintentionally forget about their mothers. Despite this, mothers continue to pray with all their hearts for the well-being and happiness of their children. A mother’s love remains unwavering, regardless of the circumstances.

The role of a mother extends far beyond biological ties or mere affection. Mothers embody sacrifice and selflessness. They willingly put aside their own needs and desires to ensure their children have access to the best opportunities in life. A mother’s love knows no bounds when it comes to providing her child with good food, clothing, and education. She goes to great lengths to earn money and secure a promising future for her child. This natural and remarkable quality is found within every mother.

Furthermore, a mother’s responsibility extends beyond the early years of her child’s life. She remains a trusted advisor and source of guidance throughout their journey. Whether it’s offering wisdom, support, or a listening ear, a mother is there to provide guidance and navigate the complexities of life. It is through her unwavering presence that a mother becomes an irreplaceable companion and confidante.

The understanding between a mother and her child is profound. A mother knows her child’s strengths, weaknesses, and dreams like no one else. She becomes a co-partner in everyday tasks and challenges, ready to take on a tremendous responsibility to help her child overcome personal and professional obstacles . When her child is in need, a mother fearlessly battles alongside them, ensuring they achieve their goals and aspirations.

It is vital that we acknowledge and appreciate the immeasurable contributions of mothers. The words of George Washington and Lord Buddha serve as a testament to the universal significance of mothers throughout history. The love, dedication, and sacrifices of mothers transcend cultural and geographical boundaries.

While society may shift its focus towards superficial pursuits, it is crucial that we maintain the values and sentiments associated with motherhood. Let us not forget the profound influence that mothers have on our lives. Let us respect and honor them not only for their role as mothers but also for their unparalleled devotion and the sacrifices they make for us.

In conclusion, a mother’s love and influence shape the course of a child’s life. The significance of motherhood cannot be overstated. It is a bond that begins at birth and extends throughout our lives. We need to cherish and hold mothers in the highest esteem, recognizing their selflessness, sacrifice, and unwavering support. They are our guiding light, our greatest well-wishers, and the embodiment of love.

Mother’s love is pure and divine. Mother’s love is something that never dies even it grows day by day. This relation of mother and child is full of emotions. It needs no expectations and no demands. She gives us birth after bearing unlimited pain and nurtures us with care and love throughout the life. Generally after growing up we ignore all her sacrifices and efforts. It is very unfortunate that some selfish people leave their mother in old age homes when they become old and week. They forget how much efforts their parents have put for making them established and successful.

Mother is a precious gift by God which we need to keep with love and care. People who have their mother are very fortunate. She does her job of motherhood with pure heart and complete devotion. So, articles and essay writing prepare you to be a successful person in the future.

Mother is the most selfless person in this world who starts loving her children even before they come into this world. Nothing could be compared to a mother’s love in this world as it is the purest form of love. Mother is like an angel for her child, who always loves her child and supports him/her. For every child, his mother has a special place in his heart because she is the first person the child sees after his birth. This is the reason why a child and a mother have a special bond between them. But not all people are fortunate enough to have mother love in their life due to many reasons. Those who have their mother with them must love and respect her.

Mother is the greatest gift for a child by God. It is the mother who always loves her children without expecting anything from them in return. It won't be wrong to say that women are inherently good mothers, but they realize the power of mother-love when they become a mother. A mother can do anything to protect her child, and she is the primary support of a child. She not only morally supports the child but also prepares her child to be a better person in life.

A mother plays many roles in her child's life from being her child's first friend to a mentor who always guides him/her, and she dedicatedly plays all these roles without complaining or hesitating.

Mother as a Best Friend

A mother is the first best friend of her child who instantly forms a special bond with the child just after his/her birth. She understands all the needs of her children and always tries to fulfill them. My mother is also my best friend. In fact, I can share all my secrets and desires with him. She always understands me and supports me. We play many games together, and our favorite game is Ludo. Many times she happily loses the game so I can win. She knows what I like and always makes me happy by cooking my favorite food. I am fortunate to have my mom as my best friend in my life.

Mother as a Mentor

A mother is not just a first best friend of a child but also his/her mentor who always supports and guides her children to achieve all the success in life. A great mentor is one who always teaches you what is right and what is wrong. A mentor not only supports you but also becomes strict with you when required. And we all can see these traits in our mothers.

My mother is truly my mentor as she not only guides me in every phase of my life but also supports me whenever I need her. When I make any mistake, she becomes strict with me to make me understand my mistake. But soon she showers her love on me and always supports me in my decision. She helps me in my studies and asks me to be serious about my career. She teaches me both cultural and moral values. There cannot be a better mentor than a mother because she knows what is right for you and always prefers the best for you.

Mother as a Caretaker

No one can care for us as a mother does. She selflessly takes care of her child since the day he is born. She knows all the needs of her child and can do anything to fulfill them. She is always there for her children. Whenever we get sick or ill, It is our mother who takes care of us without concern about her health. For a mother, the well being of her children is the utmost important, and she always ensures that her children remain safe and protected wherever they are.

A mother provides all the comfort to her child. It is the mother who makes the home cheerful and safe for children. She is like a superwoman who can manage both household work and her responsibilities towards her children. Talking about my mother, she is adorable and compassionate. She loves all my friends and me. Whenever I get sick, she gets concerned about me. She always takes care of my health and my needs. I love her the most and cannot imagine my life without her.

Mother as a Special Person of Our Life

After God, it is our mother who has the most special place in our hearts and our lives. Since the birth of a child, a mother forms a precious and special bond with him. Without thinking about herself, she thinks about her child and his happiness. She works day and night for her children so that she can make them happy. Motherhood is an integral part of a woman's life, and she selflessly gives her best to it.

A newborn child recognizes her mother from her unique fragrance. And before we start speaking, our mother understands our needs through our actions. This is all because a mother and a child share a special bond, which cannot be described in words. All a mother wants is the betterment of her child and to achieve that, sometimes she supports her child and sometimes becomes strict with him. But her intentions are always pure and honest. She always wants the best for us, and she does everything to give us the best.

When we grow, we want to spend our lives on our terms and in doing so, many times we misunderstand our parents. We become selfish sometimes and fail to understand her love, but she never complains or demands anything from us. All she wants is some respect and love from her child, and every child must provide that to her.

Mother’s love is the purest form of love in this World, and Mother is the greatest blessing for a child by God. As a child, it is our responsibility to value the sacrifice and efforts of our mother because all she wants is the betterment of her child. We are very fortunate to have a mother in our life, and we must respect our mother. We should give her all the happiness and love because she deserves all of that in return for her selfless love for us.

Introduction: In the Embrace of Maternal Love

In the heart of my life’s narrative, there exists a central figure whose presence radiates warmth, wisdom, and boundless love: my mother. Since I entered this world, she has been my guiding light, illuminating the path ahead with her firm support and profound wisdom. With her gentle touch and nurturing spirit, she has woven the fabric of my existence with threads of compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Each chapter of my life intertwines with her love, laughter, and steadfast belief in my potential. Reflecting on the journey that has brought me to where I stand today, I am filled with profound gratitude for her immeasurable impact on shaping the person I am today.

1. Unwavering Support and Sacrifice

From the earliest moments of my life, my mother has been a steadfast pillar of support, always ready to lift me up when I stumble and cheer me on as I soar. Her sacrifices know no bounds, as she selflessly puts my needs above her own time and time again. Whether staying up late to help me with homework or following her desires to ensure my happiness, my mother’s acts of love and sacrifice are countless.

  • Late-Night Study Sessions: During high school, I often grappled with challenging assignments and looming deadlines. Despite her exhaustion from a long day of work, my mother would stay up late into the night to help me with my studies. Whether it was reviewing math problems or proofreading essays, she dedicated her evenings to ensuring I had the support I needed to succeed academically.
  • Sacrificing Personal Time: In countless instances, my mother sacrificed her time to accommodate my schedule and activities. Whether driving me to extracurricular events, cheering me on at sports games, or attending parent-teacher conferences, she always prioritized my commitments. Even when she had personal plans or obligations, my mother never hesitated to rearrange her schedule to accommodate mine, demonstrating her selflessness and devotion.
  • Financial Sacrifices: My mother made significant financial sacrifices to provide for my needs and ensure that I had access to opportunities for growth and enrichment. From investing in educational resources and extracurricular activities to prioritizing my health and well-being, she consistently placed my needs above her own desires and comforts. Whether it meant forgoing luxuries or making budgetary adjustments, my mother always ensured I had the support and resources necessary to pursue my goals and dreams.
  • Emotional Support During Tough Times: During moments of uncertainty or emotional distress, my mother’s unwavering support served as a source of comfort and strength. Whether I was grappling with personal challenges, navigating difficult relationships, or facing setbacks, she was always there to provide a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and words of encouragement. Her ability to provide emotional support without judgment or hesitation was a testament to her unconditional love and commitment to my well-being.

2. Endless Patience and Understanding:

One incident that vividly illustrates my mother’s patience in action occurred during my tumultuous teenage years. I remember coming home one evening, seething with frustration and anger over a trivial argument with a friend. My emotions were in turmoil, and I unleashed a torrent of complaints and grievances as soon as I crossed the threshold.

Instead of reacting with frustration or impatience, my mother listened, her expression calm and unwavering. Despite the intensity of my emotions, she remained steady, offering me a safe space to vent without fear of judgment or reprimand.

As I ranted and raved, my mother listened attentively, absorbing my words without interruption. Once I had exhausted my tirade, she spoke with a gentleness that instantly diffused my anger. She offered sage advice and perspective, helping me see the situation from a broader, more balanced viewpoint.

I realized the depth of my mother’s patience and understanding in that moment. She had weathered the storm of my teenage tantrum with grace and compassion, guiding me toward a place of clarity and calm. It was a powerful reminder of her unwavering love and support, even in the face of my most irrational outbursts.

3. Strength and Resilience

In the face of adversity, my mother’s strength and resilience shine brightly, inspiring me to face life’s obstacles with courage and determination. Whether overcoming personal hardships or supporting our family through difficult times, she remains steadfast in her resolve, a beacon of hope and resilience in the storm.

  • Courage in Adversity:  From navigating career challenges to overcoming health setbacks, my mother’s courage in the face of adversity is truly awe-inspiring. Her unwavering determination to persevere is a powerful example of resilience, inspiring me to tackle my challenges with strength and fortitude.
  • A Source of Inspiration:  Through her strength and resilience, my mother has inspired me and all who know her. Her unwavering faith in the face of uncertainty and her ability to rise above adversity serve as a testament to the power of resilience and the human spirit.

4. Nurturing and Compassion

One poignant instance that exemplifies my mother’s nurturing nature occurred during a particularly challenging period in my life. I was grappling with feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt, overwhelmed by the pressures of school and personal relationships. As I struggled to navigate through the storm of my emotions, my mother remained a steadfast source of comfort and support.

One evening, overcome with despair, I sought solace in the sanctuary of my room, feeling as though the weight of the world rested heavy on my shoulders. Sensing my distress, my mother gently knocked on my door and entered, her eyes brimming with empathy and concern.

Without a word, she enveloped me in a warm embrace, holding me close as tears streamed down my cheeks. At that moment, her presence alone was enough to soothe the turmoil within me, offering a sense of reassurance and belonging that I desperately needed.

As we sat together in silence, my mother’s unconditional love washed over me like a healing balm, easing the ache in my heart and restoring my faith in the brighter days ahead. This simple yet profound nurturing gesture spoke volumes about the depth of her compassion and the boundless extent of her maternal love.

Through her comforting embrace, my mother taught me the invaluable lesson that sometimes, the greatest surprise we can give is the gift of presence – of being there for one another in times of need, offering a shoulder to lean on and a heart to lean into. It was a lesson that would stay with me forever, shaping how I approached relationships and the world around me.

In conclusion, my mother embodies the epitome of unconditional love characterized by unwavering support, endless patience, strength, resilience, nurturing, and compassion. Her remarkable qualities have shaped me into the person I am today, instilling values of empathy, kindness , and resilience within me. Reflecting on the countless ways my mother has enriched my life, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and appreciation. To my mother: thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me. Your love is the greatest gift of all, and I am eternally grateful for the privilege of being your child.

A long essay on Mother’s Day for class 3 is a complicated write-up. These are often asked topics for weekend assignments for children in school. Having gained experience in writing short essays, children can attempt long essays using this example:

In most countries around the world, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May every year. It commemorates the love, affection, and sacrifice that mothers make for their children. Many families celebrate Mother’s Day with their children by giving their mothers personalised gifts and treating them to a day of relaxation and leisure. The trend of celebrating Mother’s Day has also touched the corporate level, making it more special for all working women.

Mother’s Day is a beautiful opportunity to express gratitude to all the mothers who have made the world a fantastic place. While they only expect love from their children and hope for them to excel in life, it is a great joy to have a big “Thank You, Mom!” party once a year

History And Origin Of Mother’s Day

The origin of Mother’s Day can be traced back to Anna Jarvis and her mother, Ann Jarvis, from West Virginia, United States. Ann Jarvis was a peace activist. She had cared for wounded soldiers from the American Civil War. In 1908, Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother while pushing for acceptance of a day of commemoration for all mothers in the society. The idea grew in popularity, and by 1910, West Virginia had declared Mother’s Day a local holiday. By 1911, most states had followed the trend of celebrating Mother’s Day. In 1914, Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States, declared Mother’s Day a national holiday. In time, more countries such as India, Bangladesh, Italy, Singapore, and Belgium recognised Mother’s Day and started observing it on the second Sunday of May. Latin American countries also celebrate Mother’s Day. However, their dates are different.

Why Is Mother’s Day Important?

People often take good things for granted, especially when they expect their presence for a long time. A mother is a person who cares for her children regardless of how old they are and the kind of condition they are in. Mothers often make sacrifices for their children that go unnoticed as it is usually viewed as their duty towards their children. This also means that the individual behind the role of a mother is often overshadowed and forgotten. Mother’s Day reminds the world how important a mother is and the hardships she has to face to turn her children into responsible adults.

How To Celebrate Mother’s Day?

Here are some ideas for Mother’s Day celebration:

  • Give her a day off! Pick up all the chores and encourage her to do anything that she feels like, like going out with her friends.
  • Throw a surprise party at home by preparing her favourite meal with your dad’s help.
  • Treat her like a queen. Her wish is your command, so let her dictate how she wants the day to go.
  • Surprise her with a great gift. Buy her something she has wanted for a while or gift her something she will enjoy using such as handbags or clothes.
  • Make a personalised gift. Nothing carries more weight than handcrafting your own gift.

Mother’s Day Celebration At School

Mother’s Day celebrations at schools are the most noteworthy ones. Schools enthusiastically invite their students’ mothers to participate in the celebration, which involves games and activities for a day of excitement and fun. Children often perform skits and other group programmes with Mother’s Day as the central theme. Children are also asked to write a speech for their mothers to make their day more memorable.

The most fascinating thing about mother’s love is that it gets more and more deep with each passing day and stays with you till the end. There is actually so much into it that it’s difficult to describe it in words. Feelings can better be expressed and experienced than written. Mother’s love is sweet, innocent, loving, caring and sometime with full of worries. This simple word ‘MAA’ has so much power in itself that can remove all pains if a child gets hurt. Mother’s love denotes that power which helps a child to overcome all difficulties or tough situations. I have influenced by my mother in various ways as she plays various role in my life like a friend, a companion, a mentor and a teacher. Let’s describe little bit:

Mother as a Best Friend

After birth a child finds his mom as first friend who plays with him along with extra care and nourishment. She interacts with her child as a friend and keeps watching all her child’s activities. A mother never feels tired while playing with her child and always fulfills all his demands without thinking of her. A mother is like an angel for her child.

Mother as a Mentor

Without any expectation a mother keep on working for the betterment of her child. She plays all roles including mom like a mentor, a teacher, a friend, a caretaker. She loves her child more than any other thing in this world but sometime she becomes little strict towards her child for making him capable to fight with different circumstances comes in life. His life is full of challenges and we need to face them on every stage. Mother gives us that power with which we become able to accept them and get success.

Mother as a Caretaker

A Mother always want best for her child and never compromise in anything related to her child. Parents protect their child from any difficult situation and provide him all comfort that they can afford. Mothers love is not only about pampering her child but also about letting her child know the moral and cultural values. A person’s character shows his or her upbringing level that completely depends on the lessons learnt by their mom. A good upbringing makes the better future of a person and a mother does excellent job to give best future for her child.

Mother is a female parent and role of a mother is much superior then father. She converts a house into home; she works as a superwoman because to keep managing house hold works and to fulfil all family members’ requirement on time is not easy task at all. If we talk on working ladies than we can’t even imagine how she would manages all things together. I am proud of my mother who has nurtures me along with doing job and also managing home properly.

Mother as a Mother

It is very common to say that ‘mom you don’t understand’ but in reality mother knows each and every thing about her child. The level of parent is equal to God and thus respect your mother god will always with you.

She always tried to give me the best education and did her best to keep me healthy. My mother is very energetic and active. She works the whole day long. She wakes up early in the morning, prepares breakfast for all family members, serves lunch and dinner on time, and keeps the home neat. To quote Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who is reported to have said, “The love of a mother is the veil of a softer light between the heart and the heavenly father.” Mother is indeed God’s name on the lips and hearts of small children. William Make peace.

“When you are looking at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know” – Charley Benetto

Paragraph 5. In 100 Words for class 4

A woman who is not biologically related to the children but feeds and nurtures them is sometimes called the mother. Every successful, lucky, and blessed person has a mother in life. A mother is undoubtedly the greatest gift from God. She is the one who inspires us to achieve the best things in life by facing all the hard hurdles of life. She is the first teacher of everyone whose teachings are always proven to be precious throughout life.

Paragraph 6. In 150 words For class 5

The mother’s role in the world is the best, most unique, and most adored of all the relatives in one’s life. She has the most loving personality toward her children throughout all their lives. She had no needs in return from her children. Instead, she always let the door of her heart open. A child’s love for their mother can never be compared to her true love . She would have to pass through every difficulty of life to care for her child, and she wouldn’t care about climate change, cold weather, or winter for the sake of her child. She sacrifices her sleepiness in the case of her child’s sickness. She tries her best for our happiness and works hard to fulfill our needs. She guides us on the right path to achieve good things, whatever she expects of us. She is our first teacher who teaches us at every step of life. She instills in us the importance of maintaining discipline and good manners and understanding our roles and responsibilities to our families, society, and country. It’s no secret that we are a country of overachievers. We get what we need to succeed by studying long into the night, staying after class and coming in early to finish our assignments, and devoting our weekends to cramming in more study time. And who can blame us? The world is constantly asking us to perform at its peak. But if there’s one area where most of us could stand to improve as overachievers, it’s our relationships with others.

Paragraph 7. For class 6

Mothers don’t always get credit for their influence on other people around them. They might not be the ones to hu or encourage you when you’re down, but they play an essential role in shaping the people around them. And not just in their children either. Mothers profoundly affect every single person they come into contact with because they work so diligently at cultivating their relationships with others throughout their lifetime. How does this happen? Mothers learn to be patient, nurturing, understanding, and supportive from childhood onward, which continues to serve them through adulthood. That’s why being grateful for your mother is so important — and why Mother’s Day is such a suitable time!

This long Essay on ‘Mother’s Love’ is helpful for students of class 7, 8, 9, and 10.

Firstly we need to understand that almost every species experiences a mother’s love, but as humans, we can experience this love and put it to words. A woman becomes a mother the moment she decides on taking responsibility for the upbringing of a child(ren).

Most women first start their journey of motherhood by giving a home to an organism that would grow inside her for nine months more or less. She bears this child(ren) with a lot of pain and struggles but happily for its life, forming from her blood and mass. And later, when the child is ready to come out of her womb and explore the world, the mother helps the child(ren) through the journey to survive to own its own.

Mother offers her service for feeding the child(ren) to taking care of it ever since birth without expecting anything in return. From the instant the child exists as an organism inside a mother’s womb, till almost four months after birth, the only relation to the child with its mother is that of a ‘food provider.’ All this while the child develops their sense of smell by which they can identify their mother’s unique scent.

Often we misunderstand the guidance our mother provides us, and instead of being grateful for everything she does for us, we turn rude and disobedient. Even though she is hurt by our actions a lot, she is the most forgiving and understanding being when it comes to her child(ren). Father’s love is mention-worthy as well, but it is not at the same level as that of what our mothers feel for us. The bond between our mother and us is that of flesh and blood.

Even if we are adults or married, we will always remain that little child in our mother’s eyes. Our mothers often sacrifice pursuits of her interests and hobbies for the sake of our righteous upbringing. She is the kindest water stream that pours all her knowledge and wisdom to build our personality and tries to make our life as easy as possible.

Mothers try to make their child(ren) ‘s life better than her past and often scolds us so that we don’t make mistakes that could eventually leave an adverse effect on our lives. She always tries to provide her child/children a better life than what she had experienced so that we can achieve more significant successes. From helping us walk, talk to being our only listener, and the best personal cheerleader, mothers are the best mentor anyone can ever own.

Short Essay on Mother’s Love in English 200 words

This Short Essay on Mother’s Love will be helpful for our young students of class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and we suggest they consider it as a reference.

There is no doubt about the fact that a mother’s love is the most exceptional kind of love ever to exist and received. A mother’s life intertwines with her child from pregnancy to death. As miraculous the act of giving birth is, so are the changes that occur in a woman soon after being a mother. Researches show that women exclaim the motherhood to be the best part of their lives.

A woman gladly accepts all the responsibilities that come with the upbringing of children because of all the happiness she feels from the selfless act. Truly unlucky are those who have not felt the warmth of a mother’s affection. And the world is filled with many such fools that forget and neglect their mother when they grow up, for they take her love for granted. Even after that, a mother never holds grudges against her child, for she holds an immeasurable amount of forgiveness and love in her, which only shows how great mothers are and can be.

10 Lines on the Mother’s Love Essay in English 200 words

  • A mother’s love is beyond comparison.
  • Mothers have a sense beyond the other five normal senses that makes can understand her child’s need.
  • A mother’s instinct to guard and protect her child starts the moment she learns about the pregnancy.

  • A bond between child and mother is from even before the child’s first sees the light, in comparison to that of the father’s love.

Frequently Asked Questions Essay on Mother’s Love

Question 1. How can anyone make their mother happy?

Answer: Small gestures like helping your mother with cleaning your room, washing the dishes every time you are done eating a snack, doing your laundry, remind her about taking her medications on time, etc. these will surely make anyone’s mother happy.

Question 2. Can babies respond to their mother’s love?

Answer: Soon after a month from birth, babies start responding to facial expressions and react to their mother’s loving affection without a thought. Before eight months from delivery, the babies’ response to affection is rather subtle.

Question 3. At what age can the babies feel the absence of their mother?

Answer: The babies develop a sense of ‘object permanence’ somewhere between four to seven months after birth, which makes them aware of the presence or absence of their parents. But they don’t understand the concept of time, and hence they don’t realize how long their mother is gone or when she will come back; thus, it can make the babies upset.

Question 4. What is the kind of love from the mother we receive?

Answer: The only possible answer to this is that a mother’s love is always unconditional and eternal, for it lives on with your life. Nature and its majestic ways turn women into mothers and make them fearless like a shield so that she can protect her offspring from any possible harm.

Mothers' Instinct ending explained: Delving into that shocking twist

The thriller is now available to watch on Netflix UK.

preview for Mothers' Instinct - Official Trailer (Studio Canal)

Mothers' Instinct ending explained

How mothers' instinct changes the book's ending.

Mothers' Instinct has the kind of twisty, bonkers ending we love to see in a campy melodrama.

Academy Award winners Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain star in this adaptation of Barbara Abel's 2012 novel Behind the Hatred , where two mothers and neighbours see tensions escalating after a tragic accident.

In the movie, set in the 1960s, Alice (Chastain) witnesses the death of Céline's (Hathaway) young son, Max.

From her backyard, Alice sees Max dangerously trying to hang a birdhouse while standing on the balcony's railing, and runs into her neighbour's house to save him. She is too late, though, and the boy falls and dies. It's not her fault, but the guilt eats at her as Céline's life crumbles beneath her feet.

Soon, the women's close friendship turns sour as Céline obsesses over what went wrong, and Alice worries about the safety of her own son Theo, who was best friends with Max.

Now available to watch on Netflix UK , Mothers' Instinct 's suburban paradise soon turns into an unsettling tale of paranoia and murder.

Major spoilers ahead.

After a period of mourning away from her house, Céline comes back and she's keen on rekindling her relationship with Alice's family.

However, Alice is not too happy with Céline and her son Theo growing close. They seem to understand each other due to their shared loss, and soon Theo basically appoints the woman as his new best friend. He even invites her to his birthday party.

Alice is paranoid that Céline is trying to take revenge on her for not saving Max, or perhaps just steal her son as a replacement. Spoiler alert, she's not wrong!

Céline is indeed trying to remove all obstacles that separate her from becoming Theo's mother, and her masterplan starts to properly unfold at the disastrous birthday party.

At the party, Theo's grandmother Jean, mother of Alice's husband Simon, suddenly dies of a heart attack after she failed to take her medication, as the autopsy reveals.

Alice thinks it's weird Grandma Jean would forget something she did on a daily basis, and suspects Céline might have replaced her heart medication with a different drug. Once again, she's not wrong!

Céline's next victim is her own husband Damian, who she murders and then stages the scene to make it look like a suicide.

Painting herself as a helpless widow one step away from doing something tragic, Simon takes pity on her and invites her to stay with them, to Alice's exasperation.

For her coup de grâce, Céline uses chloroform to leave Alice and Simon unconscious in their beds, and then forces a gas leak that leads to a fire, where the couple die. She also uses chloroform on an already-asleep Theo before she removes him from the house, "saving" his life.

With Theo's parents and grandma dead, Céline is the only sensible choice as his guardian. In a court scene, we see a judge granting her custody of Alice's son, with the boy oblivious of the woman's sinister plan.

The movie ends with Céline and Theo walking on the beach, a moment that could be mistaken by a happy, healing ending if we didn't know what it took to get there.

anne hathaway, mothers' instinct

Mothers' Instinct is an adaptation of Barbara Abel's 2012 novel Behind the Hatred , but there are plenty of differences between the two stories.

For example, Abel's story is set just outside of Paris in a more modern time, and the main characters' names are Laetitia and Tiphaine. This movie adaptation keeps the suburban setting, but changes the time period to take place in the 1960s. The action also moves from France to the United States.

One of the most notable changes comes at the ending, when it's revealed that the murderous plan was concocted by both Céline and her husband Damian. Their plan was always to frame Simon and Alice's deaths as suicide and gain custody of Theo.

The movie decides to remove Damian from the equation, turning the story into a one-woman murderous journey.

Mothers' Instinct is now available on Netflix UK.
