Essay on My Wish

Students are often asked to write an essay on My Wish in their schools and colleges. And if you’re also looking for the same, we have created 100-word, 250-word, and 500-word essays on the topic.

Let’s take a look…

100 Words Essay on My Wish

Introduction.

My wish is a simple yet profound one. I wish for a world filled with kindness, where every person treats others with respect and love.

The Importance of Kindness

Kindness is a virtue that can transform the world. It can bring smiles to faces and warmth to hearts. It is something that everyone can practice, regardless of age or status.

Spreading Kindness

To fulfill my wish, we all need to start with small acts of kindness. It could be as simple as helping a friend, sharing a meal, or smiling at a stranger.

In conclusion, my wish is a kinder world. It’s a wish that we can all help make come true.

250 Words Essay on My Wish

The essence of my wish, ignorance: a global epidemic.

Ignorance, I believe, is the root cause of many societal ills. It breeds prejudice, fosters fear, and inhibits progress. The lack of knowledge about different cultures, religions, and races often leads to misunderstanding and conflict. It is this ignorance that I wish to eradicate from our world.

The Power of Knowledge

Knowledge is a powerful tool. It enlightens minds, promotes empathy, and fosters understanding. It is the backbone of progress, the catalyst for innovation, and the foundation of a just society. Hence, my wish is to create a world where every individual has access to knowledge, regardless of their socio-economic status or geographical location.

Implementation: A Collective Responsibility

Realizing this wish is a collective responsibility. It necessitates a global shift in priorities, a reimagining of our education systems, and a commitment to bridging the digital divide. It requires us to challenge the status quo, to question existing norms, and to strive for a more inclusive and enlightened world.

In conclusion, my wish is not just a personal aspiration but a call to action. It’s a plea for a world that values knowledge above all else, a world free from the shackles of ignorance. It’s a wish for a future where every individual has the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to contribute to the collective wisdom of humanity.

500 Words Essay on My Wish

As humans, we are inherently driven by desires and wishes. They are the compasses that guide our actions and shape our lives. This essay is a reflection of my personal wish, a wish that resonates with the challenges of our contemporary world.

The Nature of My Wish

Value of knowledge.

In our society, wealth is often seen as a symbol of success and power. However, it is knowledge that empowers individuals to make informed decisions, fosters critical thinking, and encourages innovation. Knowledge is the catalyst for societal progress, and by valuing it, we can pave the way for a future that is not just economically prosperous, but also intellectually rich and culturally diverse.

The Role of Education

Education is the key to realizing this wish. A robust educational system that emphasizes the acquisition and application of knowledge rather than rote memorization can cultivate a society that values wisdom. This system should not just impart knowledge, but also foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning. By doing so, we can create a society where individuals are not just consumers of knowledge, but also creators.

The Challenges

In conclusion, my wish is for a world where knowledge and wisdom are valued above all else. While this may seem like a lofty goal, it is one that is worth striving for. After all, it is through knowledge that we can understand the world around us, solve our most pressing problems, and pave the way for a brighter future. As the philosopher Francis Bacon once said, “Knowledge itself is power.” Let us strive to create a world where this power is recognized, valued, and harnessed for the betterment of all.

That’s it! I hope the essay helped you.

Happy studying!

English Summary

Essay on My Three Wishes

I have many wishes. I pray that some of them may come true. out of all the wishes, three are most important for me.

My second wish is to fly like a bird. I love birds because they can fly when they want and they go wherever they want to go. Birds are free to fly and they are not like Aeroplanes and Kites. These things fly for only some time. Birds are independent. My favourite is the Eagle bird. It can fly very high in the sky. I wish I could become like it so that I could travel the whole world. I would see my city from above. I would love to fly in the clouds. There would be no noise there.

My mother says that If I will study well, I would make them come true in some ways in my future.

Here is your short paragraph on My Three Wishes !

Almost all of us have many types of wishes and we sincerely wish that our wishes came true.

When I was very small, my mom used to say to write down the wishes and keep it somewhere hiding, so the fairies could see and grant my wishes.

And so I used to do it and most of it were being granted. It was later only I realized that it was my mom who made my wishes come true. Now when I am a bit more older, I have a few wishes in me, which I would love to get fulfilled at some point of time.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

My first wish is to be in the cockpit of an airplane and ride the airplane for some time !! Wow..does not that sound great. I have watched in the television about the cockpit detail and how efficiently they manage it. Though I know that you need to study a lot about it, atleast I would like to see how it works. I really liked the inside of the cockpit when I saw it in the television. My father said to me he will try. I hope one day I would be able to fulfill my dream.

My second wish is to write a book when I get big. I love reading and I read a lot of books. Each time I read a book, even I think I should be writing something valuable for others to read. There are so many things of what I could write, but I prefer to write detective novels. They are so interesting and thrilling that the readers would love to keep them excited throughout the book. I hope one day I would be able to write a good detective novel and be able to sell my books.

At last not the least, I have another wish too, to be a Chef!!! I always see my mom preparing all that lovely food for us. It is an art to prepare great and delicious food and present it well. I help my mom sometimes and I love cooking. I hope one day I would become a great Chef.

Simple wishes in life, but I believe when we wish sincerely, it would become true and I sincerely hold to my three wishes and hope to get it true.

my wish essay for class 4

I was sitting at the dinner table with my family. Without warning, my brother smiled and turned down the kitchen lights so we all were sitting in partial darkness. Then my mom walked over, carrying a big, chocolate cake decorated with red icing and sprinkles. The cake was lit up with ten birthday candles, and everyone started singing to me!

My favorite part of birthdays is getting the chance to make a wish. Sometimes they come true, and sometimes they don’t, but the fun of waiting and hoping makes me happy. It’s like magic is in the air or something. Maybe I’m too old to believe in magic and wishes, but I don’t care. I still do it.

I closed my eyes, made my wish, and blew. My grandparents clapped and my little sister stuck her chubby finger into the puffy clouds of icing. She’s always doing dumb things like that. Mom took the cake away to cut it into slices. She gave me the first piece, and it was awesome. Chocolate with vanilla cream in the middle – delicious.

Ding, dong! The doorbell rang. We weren’t expecting anybody else. “Why don’t you go answer the door, kiddo?” suggested Dad. He likes calling me kiddo. Mom says it’s because he’s always calling us kids by the wrong names. I frowned, trying to think. Was this a trick? Was I about to get pranked?

“Okay,” I said slowly and headed for the door. I couldn’t see anybody through the glass window. Cautiously I opened the door. There was a large box on the doorstep decorated with a tag on it that read, “Happy Birthday! Open me!”

“What’s this?” Now I was confused, but excited. The box wasn’t very heavy, so I brought it inside. My family crowded all around me.

“What is it?” asked my grandma.

“Open it!” My brother was impatient, as usual.

“Box, box!” yelled my little sister, trying to get her hands on it.

“Hold on, everybody,” I said. I took a deep breath to calm myself down.

I put the box on the floor and kneeled over it. Slowly I opened the top flaps. I peered into the darkness. It looked like the box was empty. Except – except that it wasn’t. There were a pair of big, beautiful brown eyes staring back at me. And a pair of floppy ears. And a wagging tail that seemed like it would never stop.

My heart melted as I picked it up and cradled its warm, wiggly body in my arms. “A puppy,” I whispered.  My eyes stung as I felt tiny pricks of happy tears gathering. I couldn’t believe it. I had been wanting a dog forever.

As I cuddled the pup and it licked my nose, I knew that, no matter what anyone else says, wishes sometimes do come true.

1.  Which family members were at the birthday party?

2.  Put the events of the story in order:

3.  How did the birthday child feel when they saw the puppy?

4.  If you could have a birthday wish come true, what would it be?

The child’s brother, mom, grandparents, little sister, and dad were all at the party.

b), d), f), e), a), c)

The child’s heart melted, she/he was happy, had tears of happiness, couldn’t believe it.

Paragraph & Essay Writing

Writing skills should be practised in a variety of ways in fourth grade. Paragraph & essay writing prompts for 4th graders should include opinion pieces, informative or explanatory texts, and narrative essays about real or imagined experiences. Short research projects should also be included in the fourth-grade curriculum. Students can choose from a variety of writing prompts to inspire them.

The business world may require one to write an essay as well. Schools, middle schools, high schools, and colleges need students to write essays. A definition of an essay is "a short piece of writing containing information and opinion." An essay is, in general, a piece of writing in which the author reinforces their argument - but the definition is vague and overlaps with those of a paper, an article, a pamphlet, or a short story. It has traditionally been possible to subclassify essays as formal or informal.

What is a paragraph?

Like any other form of writing, you need to know your audience and the best way to connect with them from the onset with a captivating hook that keeps them reading until the end. No matter what type of paragraph you are writing, the main idea should be easily identifiable. A good topic sentence will accomplish this for you. It states the main idea of your paragraph and shows what your paragraph will be about. The rest of your paragraph supports this main idea by providing evidence or explaining it in more detail.

Any writing consists of paragraphs, which are its most fundamental building blocks. You will greatly benefit from paragraph & essay writing prompts for class 4 and learning how to write compelling and engaging paragraphs because it can significantly enhance your writing skills. Consequently, let's look at how to write an effective paragraph. What Is A Paragraph? A paragraph is a piece of writing that consists of several sentences.

A paragraph consists of supporting sentences that relate to one another. Each paragraph is organised in three parts : the topic sentence, the body sentences, and the concluding or link sentence, promoting the flow to the next paragraph or section. It helps the reader see the essay's order and grasp its main points since paragraphs show where each subdivision begins and ends in the research paper.

Paragraphs can contain many different kinds of information. To illustrate a point of a paragraph, you may use short examples or one extended example. In describing something, you can talk about a place, a character, or a process; describe a series of events; explain the difference between two or more things; or characterise a group of things.

As you can see from the topic sentence, your answer clearly states what you intend to elaborate on. The body develops the point you have made in your topic sentence; it gives your answer substance. The concluding sentence indicates what has been accomplished in the paragraph; it emphasises your ideas.

Expository essays aim to describe a topic, using various tools to produce an argument. This argument is usually presented to explain why something is the way it is or why people act in specific ways. These essays may provide background information on a topic, discuss various causes and effects of an event or process, or compare and contrast two things. They also include evidence and facts to support the argument and create a practical tone.

Join a good language course to learn paragraph & essay writing prompts for grade 4. Good paragraph writing should have four characteristics: unity, order, coherence, and completeness.

Unity: It is the subject phrase that begins a sentence. Every sentence in a paragraph should be related to the main idea of that paragraph. Without unity, your readers will have difficulty following your train of thought.

Order: Logical sequence means that you must arrange your topic sentences and supporting details so that they make sense from a logical or common-sense point of view. Chronological sequence refers to time. For example, if you describe a process or tell a story about an event in time, it makes sense to use chronological order.

Coherence: A paragraph is coherent if all of the sentences make some connection with one another and the topic sentence. Coherence can be achieved through two methods: (1) by repeating keywords and phrases throughout the paragraph; and (2) by using transitional words.
