Necrozma fused with Lunala in Pokemon Go.

This research will net you an encounter with Necrozma while forcing you to choose between Solgaleo and Lunala. Depending on your decision, you get a guaranteed encounter with one of the other Legendaries and enough Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy to fuse Necrozma with them at the end.

Sendai City Skies Special Research page one

Total Rewards: 25 Furfrou Candy, a Furfrou encounter, and two Lucky Eggs

Sendai City Skies Special Research — Choose Radar Tuning: Event Eevee or Emolga

Your choice here will not impact your rewards; the only thing that changes is which Pokémon is prioritized by your Pokémon Go Nearby Radar, making it more likely you’ll encounter an Eevee wearing a Sun or Moon Crown or Emolga.

Here is the next page of Sendai City Skies Special Research, where only one research task is changed based on your decision.

Sendai City Skies Special Research page two (Eevee or Emolga)

  • Three Razz Berries
  • Two Poffins

Total Rewards: Two Hyper Potions, 2,024 XP, two Revives

Sendai City Skies Special Research — Choose Solgaleo or Lunala

If you select “Basking in the Radience” or “Hidden in the Umbra” for your path here, you will alter which Legendary Pokémon and new Energy you will encounter.

Basking in the Radience will net you an encounter with Solgaleo and give you enough Solar Fusion Energy to fuse it with Necrozma into Dusk Mane Necrozma. Likewise, Hidden in the Umbra will focus on Lunala and Lunar Fusion Energy, which lets you fuze Necrozma into Dawn Wings Necrozma.

Both paths feature a Necrozma encounter and mostly unchanged tasks and rewards, outside the Energy types and Legendary encounters.

Sendai City Skies Special Research page three (Basking in the Radiance)

  • Five Pinap Berries

  • Two Max Potions

All Ditto Disguises In Pokémon GO (June 2024)

How to beat ke ke ke ke in pokémon go (june 2024), genshin impact: best clorinde builds (weapons, artifacts, team comps, stats).

The final tasks for the All-In-One Special Research are here in  Pokemon Go . This guide will show players how they can complete this Special Research and collect their rewards. Pokemon Go has held tons of events throughout 2021 and it is only March. One of the biggest events the game held was its premium Kanto Tour event. For those who were able to participate, they paid for a ticket and received a Special Research Task that allows them to collect a Shiny Mew as their final reward. The thing is the second tier of this Special Research required players to wait 30 days until they were able to unlock it. Now that 30 days have passed, players can complete the final step to get their hands on their Shiny Mew. Here is the complete set of Special Research Tasks for All-In-One.

It's important to mention that only players who purchased the Kanto Tour ticket are allowed to participate in this event . Unfortunately, the event has come and went and the ticket itself is no longer available. The only way to get a Shiny Mew now is to either trade with another player who is willing to part with it or wait for another event to happen in the future. For those who did pick up the pass, here is the complete set of Special Research Tasks for All-In-One.

Complete All-In-One 151 Special Research Tasks and Rewards in Pokemon Go

As mentioned, players will need the Kanto Tour ticket to participate in this event . Here are all the Special Research Tasks and Rewards.

  • Step 1: Earn a Platinum Kanto Medal (51 Ultra Balls), Send 151 Gifts to friends (1 Poffin), Make 151 Great Throws (1510 Stardust), Rewards: 5100 X0, 1 Raid Pass, 1510 Stardust
  • Step 2: Catch a Pokemon 30 Days in a row (51 Ultra Balls), Catch 151 different species of Pokemon (1 Glacial Lure), Catch 30 Pokemon of each type (this is broken down into 18 different tasks) (151 XP) Rewards: 5100 XP, 3 Rare Candy, 1510 Stardust
  • Step 3: Reach level 40 (4000 Stardust), Spin 151 Pokestops (3 Rocket Radar), Complete 151 Field Research Tasks (3 Super Incubators), Walk 151 km (151 Ultra Balls), Catch 1510 Pokemon (1 Incense), Rewards: 1 Star Piece, Shiny Mew Encounter, 1 Lucky Egg
  • Step 4: Claim Reward! Rewards: 3 TMs, 20 Mew Candy, Shiny Mew Shirt, 1510 Stardust, 5100 XP, 1510 Stardust

Shiny Mew is obviously the most valuable Pokemon in this entire set . Those who participated in the Kanto Tour are really rewarded with something special. It will be interesting what they decide to do with other "Tour" events moving forward in the game.

Special Research

how to get special research tasks pokemon go

Special Research (Japanese: スペシャルリサーチ Special Research ) are tasks in Pokémon GO . Usually, they are assigned by Professor Willow . However, in multiple cases Rhi of the GO Ultra Recon Squad has taken Willow's stead. In some special storylines, a leader of Team GO Rocket , Arlo , Cliff , or Sierra , have given tasks to the player. Unlike Field Research , Special Research tasks have separate, fixed objectives outlined by the assigner, and they cannot be obtained from spinning PokéStops .

Players receive rewards for each Special Research task they complete. As with Field Research rewards, the Pokémon that can be caught as a Special Research reward have a set minimum IV of 10 in each stat and an initial Power Up level of 15. Special Research is currently the only method of obtaining Mew (and its Shiny variant), Celebi (and its Shiny variant), Jirachi , Spiritomb , Victini , Galarian Yamask , Aria Forme Meloetta , Hoopa Confined, and Zarude . Those Pokémon are programmed to have a 100% catch rate.

Most Special Research tasks are available once the player reaches level 5. They can only be completed once, and tasks cannot be deleted. One set of Special Research tasks can be completed concurrently with tasks from another uncompleted set of Special Research.

Master Pokémon GO Research

Master Pokémon GO Research

Research is the newest craze in Pokémon GO , and you’ll find it makes finding wild Pokémon even more fun and rewarding. Research is the new key to finding powerful Pokémon, rare items, and even encountering Legendary and Mythical Pokémon!

Whether you’re new to research or looking to make the most of this exciting new feature, we’re here to help. Read on to maximize your rewards from both Field Research and Special Research.

Research 101

There are two types of research that Trainers can help Professor Willow with: Field Research and Special Research. Field Research spans almost every activity in Pokémon GO. These tasks can be found by visiting PokéStops, and you can complete lots of them each day. The rewards vary—even for the same task—including almost any item, Stardust, or even an encounter with a wild Pokémon. Harder tasks normally yield better rewards.

Special Research requires more effort to complete, and these tasks will be assigned to you by Professor Willow himself. He’ll pop up in the app whenever he has a new research task for you to take on. You can check your current research tasks by tapping the binoculars icon above Nearby Pokémon. Each Special Research task can be completed only once.

The first batch of Special Research quests focuses on Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region. It won’t be easy, but the grand prize is worth working for—a chance to catch Mew, the first Mythical Pokémon available in Pokémon GO! You’ll also earn fantastic items as you complete stages of Special Research, including Rare Candy, Stardust, and XP.

Plan Ahead for Special Research

Each player receives the same Special Research tasks from Professor Willow in the same order, so you can complete several objectives more easily with some planning.

First, be ready to trigger some tough Evolutions. For example, if you plan on catching Mew, you’re going to need to evolve Magikarp, so conserve your Magikarp Candy. You’ll need to evolve a Magikarp into Gyarados as part of Mew’s Special Research (you must do this during Special Research—having already evolved a Magikarp into a Gyarados prior to taking on the Special Research task won't satisfy the requirement), and at 400 Magikarp Candy per Evolution, you don’t want to be caught empty-handed. You’ll also need to be level 25 and have 100 Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region registered in your Pokédex, so be sure to track down any Nearby Pokémon you haven’t registered.

You’ll need to deal with many other tasks as they come around, and there are more tricks to speed things along. Don’t forget that different Buddy Pokémon find Candy at different rates, so you might want to switch to a buddy like Swablu or Wailmer that finds Candy every kilometer if you’re looking to rush things along. And if you’re the type of player who normally only takes on Raids against Legendary Pokémon, don’t forget that you can complete research tasks with easier Raids that can be completed by smaller groups.

Complete Field Research Daily

Completing Field Research won’t get you any closer to Mew, but Research Breakthroughs provide some serious motivation to head out into the field. The first Field Research task you complete each day will net you a special stamp. You’ll make a Research Breakthrough each time you collect seven of these stamps, and with each breakthrough comes some fantastic rewards.

The most exciting reward for making a Research Breakthrough is an encounter with a rare Pokémon. As of this posting, the Legendary Pokémon Moltres awaits dedicated researchers—but different Pokémon could be available in the future. Moltres is exceptionally rare, and Moltres Candy is hard to come by, so take advantage of this opportunity. You’ll also score a bounty of XP, Stardust, and some items.

Don’t worry if you miss a day of Field Research. Unlike the streaks for catching Pokémon and for visiting PokéStops, your progress toward a Research Breakthrough won’t be reset if you can’t go exploring one day. Field Research tasks don’t count as complete until you accept their reward, so you can even finish a Field Research objective one day and then turn it in the next day to earn a quick stamp.

Rack Up Rare Candy

Undertaking research is also a great way to earn some Rare Candy—one of the most valuable items in Pokémon GO. Rare Candy can become any other type of Candy, helping you to power up or evolve whichever Pokémon you like. Raid Battles were previously the only way to collect Rare Candy, but now you can also earn some through research.

You’ll sometimes earn a few Rare Candy when you make Research Breakthroughs. You can receive five more by completing enough Special Research tasks. Certain Field Research tasks may also reward this incredible item—make sure to complete these tasks if you receive them!

Don’t Fear Missing Out

It’s fun to try to complete each Field Research task you’re given, but remember that you can only hold up to three tasks at once. If a task seems too tough to complete for its reward, you can drop it by tapping the trash can icon in the upper-right corner of the task.

Be discerning if you get a bunch of tasks to catch Pokémon you rarely see. There’s no penalty for dropping Field Research tasks, and you can retrieve them at the same PokéStop you got them from until the end of the day if you change your mind.

The Pokémon in Question

If you see a question mark on some tall grass as a Field Research reward, you could be in for a treat. Once you finish your task, you’ll jump into an encounter with a wild Pokémon. Dozens of different Pokémon can be encountered this way, many of which were first discovered in the Kanto region—perfect for Mew’s Special Research.

It’s worth catching these Pokémon even if you happen to have some duplicates. Like Raid Bosses and Pokémon hatched from Eggs, Pokémon you encounter through Field Research tend to perform better in battle than other wild Pokémon do. These encounters aren't affected by the weather.

Field Research tasks can yield some extremely rare Pokémon. Think twice before discarding difficult Field Research tasks like “Catch a Dragon-type Pokémon,” “Win 5 Raids,” or “Make 3 Excellent Throws.” It might take you a while to complete them, but your hard work could lead to encounters with rare Pokémon like Dratini, Typhlosion, and Larvitar!

Research Efficiently

You can often complete tasks with similar objectives at the same time. This can be a great way to get lots of research done quickly—and it might encourage you to complete tasks you’d normally avoid, too.

Field Research tasks to make Nice, Great, or Excellent Throws or to throw Curveballs can be completed simultaneously. If you have Field Research tasks to make, Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws, making an Excellent Throw would advance all three quests at once.

If all your current tasks require you to make accurate throws, you may want to avoid catching the Pokémon. For instance, you could complete Field Research to make five Nice Throws by hitting the same Pokémon with five Nice Throws if it keeps breaking out of your Poké Balls. Large, feisty Pokémon like Nosepass and Onix make easy targets for this sort of task. Just don’t flee from the encounter yourself, which will void your progress.

That’s enough research about research—time to get out there. Good luck, Trainers!

Pokemon GO: How To Get Emolga And Shiny Emolga

Pokemon go: how to get shiny necrozma, pokemon go: how to get mienfoo (can it be shiny), quick links, how to get a marshadow in pokemon go, is shiny marshadow available in pokemon go.

Pokemon GO trainers can get a Marshadow starting from the GO Fest 2024: Sendai, Japan event. The Mythical powerhouse is also known as the Gloomdweller Pokemon and shows amazing battle abilities. While there are different ways to encounter a Pokemon, currently, there is only one way to get a Marshadow encounter.

The Pokemon GO Fest 2024: Sendai, Japan event on May 30, at 6:15 AM NT , marks the debut of Marshadow in the game. The dual Fighting and Ghost-type Pokemon possesses a maximum Combat Power of 4217 with a stat spread comprising 265 ATK, 190 DEF, and 207 STA. Currently, the only way to encounter Marshadow is to complete a Special Research. That said, this guide can explore Shiny Marshadow availability while helping you complete the event-exclusive Special Research and secure a Marshadow encounter.

Pokemon GO players can get an Emolga and Shiny Emolga by following this detailed guide.

While Marshadow debuted during GO Fest 2024: Sendai, you can also encounter it in Madrid and New York City events. Completing the GO Fest: 2024 Sendai Park Escapade Special Research tasks rewards you with a Marshadow encounter. In addition, you will also get to encounter Sun Crown Eevee, Klefki, and different Pokemon GO items as rewards for completion.

You can only encounter Marshadow once , even if you complete another GO Fest 2024 in-person Special Research quests featuring the monster. For those attending multiple events, only the first relevant Special Research will grant a Marshadow encounter . Other GO Fest Special Research quests will reward Marshadow Candy in Pokemon GO instead of a Marshadow encounter.

While Marshadow debuted as a featured monster in the GO Fest 2024 event, Pokemon GO developers have yet to release its Shiny variant . Niantic rarely debuts a Mythical Pokemon and its Shiny variant. How To Find Sun & Moon Crown Eevee in Pokemon GO (Can It Be Shiny?)

Pokemon GO 's highly anticipated GO Fest 2024 event is giving players a chance to catch some really special costumed Pokemon . Out of several of them, players are quite curious to learn more about catching Sun & Moon Crown Eevee.

While Eevee isn't a particularly hard Pokemon to get in Pokemon GO , these special event versions are much sought by the community since it is not quite possible to get them after the event. Here is how to get Sun & Moon Crown Eevee and its shiny variant.

Pokemon GO Fest Sendai 2024: All Special Research Tasks & Rewards

Players participating in the Pokemon GO Fest Sendai 2024 event will be able to complete several different Special Research Tasks to earn rewards.

How To Get Sun & Moon Crown Eevee in Pokemon GO

Players will be able to get Sun & Moon crown Eevee only in unique habitats around Nanakita Park as part of the GO Fest 2024: Sendai, Japan event . Depending on the habitat, the type of crown Eevee will be wearing will vary. Here are all the habitats and the respective spawns.

Unlike the GO Fest Global event which is time-based, these habitats will only be focused around Nanakita Park , so players will need to explore the surrounding areas in order to find the different habitat spawns. This can be a bit tricky, but, to begin with, players shouldn't have much trouble finding each of these habitats, considering that the area isn't that large,. Usually, these are tied to coordinates, so once players find a habitat, they should try to look for the Pokemon in the vicinity to increase their chances of getting a particular form of Eevee.

The usual tricks work here, as players will be able to use Lure Modules and Incense to further boost the spawn rates of the Pokemon and increase their chances of getting a Sun or Moon Crown Eevee. Considering that Eevee is a Normal-type Pokemon, players don't have many options apart from using the regular Lure Modules, as they specialized don't work for Normal-type Pokemon .

How To Get Shiny Sun & Moon Crown Eevee

For players wondering if they can get a shiny variant of the Sun and Moon Crown Eevee, the good news is that these Pokemon are available in their rare form . However, the odds remain quite low, as there is essentially a 1 in 500 chance to get a shiny Eevee in the wild. While the developers have not revealed anything about the shiny boosts, these events usually have a better-than-regular chance of getting a shiny Pokemon, so players should definitely try looking for a shiny Eevee for a while.
