New Delhi:  Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Madhya Pradesh is currently accepting applications for admission to its PhD program for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can apply online by submitting their applications by October 09, 2022.

As per  RGPV , the admission window for PhD program is open for candidates who have completed their master’s degree in the required field of study from any recognised university or education institution with at least 55% marks (50% marks required for SC/ST candidates). 

After the application submission process, the university will conduct a PhD entrance examination to shortlist applicants for  RGPV PhD Admission 2022 . The exam will be held on October 14, 2022 and the interview round will commence from October 20 to 22, 2022.

RGPV 2024 Application Form

Check details below, that candidates must remember while filling the RGPV 2024 application form:

• RGPV 2024 Registration form will be released soon in June 2024.
• Aspirants will be able to submit their application form through online mode.
• In order to apply for RGPV 2024, candidates must satisfy all the eligibility criteria.
• Candidates will need to register on the website by providing some of the basic details like name, mobile number & email ID.
• Fill application form with details i.e. personal, educational qualification, communicational, address etc.
• Upload the required documents i.e. passport size photograph & signature in jpeg/ gif format.
• Details filled in the application form must be correct, as no correction facility will be provided after submission of it.
• Candidates are advised to check all the details before submitting the form & take printout of the same.

Application Fee:

• Registration fee will be Rs. 120/- for all candidates.
• Application fee of RGPV 2024 will be submitted via online mode. No offline facility will be provided to pay the fee.
• Online payment gateways will be debit card/ credit card/ net banking .
• Fee will not be refundable or transferable.

• Step-3: Read all the instructions before filling the registration form then click login button.
• Step-4: Enter your login credentials to fill details in the form.
• Step-5: Fill basic, education, communication details carefully.
• Step-6: Upload required documents i.e. scanned passport size photograph & signature.

RGPV 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check RGPV Eligibility Criteria 2024 and satisfy in order to be eligible:

For B.Tech:

• Qualification: Candidates must pass 12th or equivalent exam to be eligible.
• Marks: In 12th level, aspirants must obtain 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Score Card: Candidates must have JEE Main score card.
• Appearing: Candidates those are appearing their 12th class will also be eligible.

For B.Arch:

• Qualification: One must have qualified Intermediate exam with Mathematics subject.
• Score Card: Candidates must have NATA score card.

For M.Tech:

• Qualification: Candidates having B.E./ B.Tech degree to be eligible.
• Marks: In will be mandatory to obtain 50% marks in their qualifying degree.
• Score Card: One must have a valid score card of GATE exam.
• Qualifications: Candidates those have completed their graduation in any of the stream can apply.
• Marks: In the qualifying degree candidates must secure 50% marks ( 45% marks for reserved category).
• Score Card: Candidates those have valid score card of CMAT exam will be eligible.

RGPV 2024 Admission Procedure

Candidates those are seeking admission to the various courses will have to qualify JEE Main/ CMAT/ NATA/ GATE exam. Also, admission will be offered through previous qualifying scores. In order to get admission in RGPV, candidates will have to register for the counselling online on the portal.

Candidates will be selected for the further procedure on the basis of merit of qualifying exam/ other national level entrance scores. A merit list will be prepared by the authority to the eligible candidates. Final admission will be offered after allotment of seats & reporting.

RGPV 2024 Merit List

Merit list will be prepared by the authority based on the merit of last qualifying scores of candidates and entrance scores. Merit List of PGPV 2024 will be made available in online mode on the website. Name of the shortlisted candidates will present in the merit list. Merit list will contain the qualifying status of the aspirants.

Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for further counselling rounds. If candidates have any doubt against their results then they must contact to the respective authority within 15 days of declaration of results. Candidates must take a printout of their results safe for future references.

RGPV 2024 Counselling/ Selection Procedure

A centralized counselling procedure will be organised by the authority for eligible candidates. Admission to all UG & PG courses will be offered through the centralized counselling organised by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Eligible candidates will need to participate in the counselling rounds.

RGPV Counselling 2024 will be conducted through online or offline mode depending on the university. Admission will be completely based on both merit & entrance basis. Counselling will be done in various steps including registration, choice filling, allotment, document verification etc.

Candidates those have alloted the seats, will need to report to the allotted centre for document verification procedure & after that they will have to pay required admission fee in order to confirm seats.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a University, a deemed University or any other University incorporated under a law and recognized by University Grants Commission of India (UGC).
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-abled and other categories of candidates.
• A candidate who has not completed a Master’s Degree, is permitted to appear in the entrance test for the Ph.D. programme. However, such candidates shall be required to submit a certificate of passing the Master’s Degree along with the marks/grades obtained at the time of interview for admission into Ph.D. programme.

• The candidates desirous to seek admission are required to apply online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
• Before filling the application form read the instructions carefully. Visit the University website https://www.rgpv.ac.in/ for online submission of application form.
• After submission of the online application form, requests for change of entries will not be accepted. Incorrectly filled application forms are liable to be rejected.

Eligibility Criteria for RGPV Bhopal PhD Admission 2023-24

• Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a University, a deemed University or any other University incorporated under a law and recognized by University Grants Commission of India (UGC).
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their relevant Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace marks.
• A candidate who has not completed Master’s Degree, is permitted to appear in the entrance test for the Ph.D. programme. However, such candidates shall be required to submit a certificate of passing the Master’s Degree along with the marks/grades obtained at the time of interview for admission into Ph.D. programme.

• Candidates can apply online through the official website https://www.rgpv.ac.in/

• After submission of the online application form, request for change of entries will not be accepted. Incorrectly filled application forms are liable to be rejected.

RGPV Bhopal PhD Admission 2023-24 Admission Procedure

• Admission into the Ph.D. programme shall be through an Entrance Test and subsequent interview conducted by the University.
• The admission into the Ph.D. programme shall be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test and subsequent interview, the weightage of these components shall be 85% and 15%, respectively.
• Only those candidates shall be called for the interview who have scored at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test.
• Candidates who have qualified NET/SLET/GATE examination conducted by Central Government/ State Government of Madhya Pradesh agencies shall be awarded additional marks, which shall be 10% of the marks scored by the candidate in the Entrance Test; however, to qualify for the interview these candidates shall be required to score at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test, without adding these additional marks.
• The Entrance Test shall be subject specific.
• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) holders of UGC/CSIR, Teacher Fellow Ship Holders of Central Government or State Government of Madhya Pradesh and Teachers selected under QIP programme of Central Government or State Government of Madhya Pradesh are exempted to appear in the Entrance Test. These candidates shall have first preference in the admission process. These candidates shall be required to appear in the interview like any other candidates. Relative merit of these candidates shall be decided by the marks obtained by them in the Interview.

RGPV PhD Entrance Examination

• The duration of Online Ph.D. Entrance Examination will be of 02 hours (120 minutes).
• Each question paper will consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking.
• On-Screen scientific calculator will be available to the candidates to solve the numerical problems.
• The result of the examination will be flashed on the screen instantly as soon as examination paper will be submitted by the candidate.
