PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

My husband and I were very interested in seeing if Grant's program could take us to the next level. Some rep starts asking me a ton of questions, some FAR TOO PERSONAL! This guy who is still wet behind the ears wants to know about my wealth. What does THAT have to do with what THEY are going to do FOR US??? We moved forward with the process, set up a second call with another "sales person" who then told us the costs. When we were not interested in signing on the dotted line so fast they offered us a weekend webinar for $97 and sent us links. The links DID NOT WORK. Then we had a zoom set up for this morning...I logged on, they didn't. Later I get a call with an apology. When I told him the link did not work he told me to call the office for the refund... EXCUSE ME?? The customer is supposed to waste THEIR precious time to get their money refunded???? Are you kidding me???? Sorry, you've shown me your true colors. Shame on you Grant! Go hire some people who truly care. We're done.

All they are after is your money.

I had an appointment with a rep from Grant Cardone following my signing up on his website. The rep immediately jumped into asking loads of questions about my business and finances, some of which I found extremely intrusive. Then the question came up on how much liquid cash I have, as soon as I gave a low number, the call was more or less ended with a promise of sending me an ebook. I told the rep that I have the ebook already and was interested in learning more about the program but all I got was that they will resend the ebook. Call abruptly over. They seem to be only after your money, and I mean substantial sums running into thousands. They got all my information but was given zero information about the program as soon as they decided that I wasn’t a financial fit. Depressing and Disappointing. Doubt if Grant Cardone himself is aware of how his company is being run, and being portrayed. I will stay away.

The workshop this morning was full of…

I appreciate that the workshop this morning was full of practical business information that can help anyone scale their business exponentially. A slightly slower pace would be helpful but the information was very good. He obviously knows how to create and run a successful business. It is clear that "free" is a sales strategy but the time was well spent. Showing how to sell while selling is an effective sales strategy. I was deeply disturbed about this. Intertwining political support for a man who is a Presidential candidate that has zero moral compass, who has oppressive and disgusting behavior to women, who spews well-documented lies prolifically and has shown that he will stop at nothing to benefit himself over country casted a huge dark cloud on trusting company culture.

Well worth your time

Read both the good and the bad before making the decision to invest in the 10X business summit. I understand the negative reviews in that there is ALOT of high-pressure sales pitching going on, however, there is also so much good content I received over the 3 days from most of the presenters. One presenter, who presented twice, offered very little value but to sell his products, the rest truly offered actionable and valuable info. Some knowledge received was new and other knowledge was things I already knew but had never implemented. I also met alot of great attendees which is always a plus. I go to these things to get one great thing out of it. I honestly feel I walked away with 20+ things I need to do immediately. Lastly, if you don't feel pumped up and great about your future then you are doing something wrong. Great investment of my money and more importantly my time (three-day investment)!

Aggressive salespeople

Aggressive salespeople - bottom line. The good and the bad is that Grant works his butt off. He boasts that he won’t take no for an answer, or that he’ll just keep trying until he gets a yes. Great way to be resilient, but it’s super annoying and off-putting. Seriously annoying. As a consumer, when trying to buy into his program, that arrogance and lack of social awareness trickles down into his team as well. Service is lackluster, boastful, arrogant, rigid, and all around feels bad. People want to feel good about doing business with you. His approach just sucks.

Signed up for the $30K-$35K annual…

Signed up for the $30K-$35K annual coaching program... the back end is surprisingly user friendly, lots of content, and there are weekly & monthly training lessons & sessions that must be completed. I am in real estate sales & they sold me... so they are definitely good at reeling you in. If you're uncomfortable about having a pushy salesman on the other line... then don't contact them. I however, wanted something for the team. This program is catered to up to 10 people on the team so as the sales team captain this keeps my guys (hopefully) locked in. Mixed reviews on that.. but that is my responsibility. We are trying to break personal & company records, so I hope this will help with that. You get access to all Grant's books, seminars, what seems like hundreds of hours of training and different sales videos, and a weekly coaching call. I have paid a lot on other coaches, training, throughout my career and so far it is worth it. You get out what you put in. I gave it four stars because I haven't seen an ROI yet... it's been 3-4 weeks?

I recently purchased the $600 marketing…

I recently purchased the $600 marketing course and completely regret it. Terrible investment and I let myself get influenced by a great salesman. This course contains the most basic information that anyone online can read for free on Google. It does not contain inside knowledge or an "accumulation of 20+ years of experience"... it is a very vague outline of what a successful business needs, because your company clearly does not care about the "cardone family", the customers or their success stories. It is so clear that the course was just another step to push customers into purchasing more product/service from the company. After just one day of having this course, I was already getting a call from the Cardone sales rep to discuss how you can "help me" (meaning how you can sell me on the next big thing, since that is the only thing you care about). He didn't even ask me how the course is going, how I like it. After telling him that I was busy at the moment, he didn't listen and asked to keep talking about it. Selfish, rude, narcissistic. On the scheduled zoom, he showed up late and just continued talking about the mentorship program. Disrespectful. The most inhumane experience I have ever had and I would never trust this company again. It feels completely sleazy and cheap.

Is The 10X Marketing Program Legit?

After careful research, discussion, and consideration, here’s my take on Grant Cardone’s 10x Marketing Program: 50% legit and 50% promising. Here’s my justification for blunting out this statement:

For the record, the program is incredibly structured and worth the price. How amazing is it to gain tons of information and resources in one marketing program, right? But, at the end of the day, we all have the same question in mind:

“Is it really effective? Would going through the 3-day online course and mastering the systems provided in this program really help me achieve my lifelong billionaire business dream or is it yet another overpromising course that underdelivers?”

Let me answer your question:

“Yes, the course is extremely useful!”

The program is effective ONLY if you’re the type of person who has patience, devotion, and determination, like Grant Cardon. Bust off the “one-day billionaire” concept that promises people that if they did this, they could achieve this in a day; there’s no such thing! It would help if you had the will to get things done.

It takes time, power, and dedication to be in the place or state where you want to be. The 10x Marketing Program is not for people who are used to giving up so easily. If you’re not ready to up your game, you won’t succeed either.

The program is designed to fast-track your progress, so you must be willing and prepared to keep up with the demanding pace. If not, you’ll fail, and the success you’ve longed for will continue as a dream, and that’s just me being real with you!

The only problem with this program is the slight lack of transparency and the fact that it hides all the upsells that come later on. I don’t know about you, but I believe obtaining all that info and resources for $100 is skeptical, don’t you think?

You’ve probably noticed that everything is already super expensive in this world. Yet, Grand Cardone is a one-of-a-kind marketing genius, so it’s only expected that he will try to sell you more expensive products down the line. Knowing this, you have full control over whether you want to buy them or not.

Because after spending time and effort attending the first course, they’ll ask you to pay again to be eligible to enter the second course. The $100 I initially spent became a registration fee to qualify me to enter the first online course.

Moreover, I couldn’t find the solutions I’d been dying to know after undergoing the courses. Instead, the facilitators will convince you to register for the next class to unravel the necessary answers, which is a bit irritating.

Let me clear the confusion here:

I’m not the only one reacting this way; many of us are! Because of this, people, including me, have been calling Cardone a confidence trickster. He and his team are a bunch of money hoarders who prey on the weak to get what they want. It’s not that they don’t provide value. In fact, they give a lot of it, but what good is all that value when they’re not upfront about all that happens in the backend?

The truth is that they can’t really convert the poor and middle-class business owners into a billionaire in 90 days with just $100. They can only help those who already have the money and resources to do so. Still, when it’s all said and done, it would be up to you to give this money-making strategy a shot! It may be overpromising, but I still believe it’s worth the price.

The Verdict

Grant Cardone’s 10x Marketing Program has transformed many business aspirants into successful entrepreneurs. For some, yes, but for others, no. There are always two sides to the story. This review, it’s from the people who’ve experienced the positive and negative outcomes of taking advantage of this money-making strategy. As I’ve said, it’s 50/50, but I’ll leave the final verdict to you.

But before spending a penny to register for this program, take all your time researching and reading reviews about it. I want to spare you from splurging on unworthy things. I’ve always got FOMO and want to make sure I’m on top of the marketing world so I get better results for my clients. That being said, I feel like this guy just likes the sound of his own voice.

I went through about 10 hours of his stuff over the last 2 days, and I can’t get that time back.

What the people he is trying to sell to are in need of is an actual step-by-step..do this, then that. Yes, he promises all of that, but I just have not seen it.

AND I disagree with his Make the World know you and then sell them philosophy; that was what kept me broke for the first 15 years of being in business.

The problem with upsells is that they make what would be a good offer a bad one! If my budget were $100, I would have to stop on day one and leave the course.

Who is Grant Cardone?

As the name of the program suggests, it was launched by Grant Cardone . He is an author, entrepreneur, and international speaker, also referred to colloquially as uncle G. He’s known for his real estate investing and specifically being able to build a real estate empire.

He is the CEO of Cardone Enterprises, Cardone Training Technologies, Cardone Capital and founder of Cardone University.

Following the success of his bestselling book The 10X Rule in 2011, he launched “The 10x Growth Conference” – a three-day event that enables people to learn strategies from some of the most successful entrepreneurs.

He owns and runs seven private companies and manages a real estate portfolio worth $5 billion, comprising mostly of multifamily properties. That puts Grant’s own personal net worth at over $1 billion. And could be as high as $2.6 billion according to online sources.

He works with companies, big and small, to help them improve their sales by identifying opportunities they may be foregoing and streamlining the sales system for their sales professionals.

It is not a get-rich-quick scheme as many have been saying it is. It is a training program that provides you with the skills you need to master to improve your business.

It requires you to take action because your results will depend on how aggressive you are, something Grant keeps emphasizing.

Having reviewed hundreds of online programs over the years, I can say that that’s not what you get from get-rich-quick schemes and other questionable programs because they promise you a lot and require next to nothing from you.

Grant requires you to put in the work hence he is legitimate.

• Grant Cardone is a successful entrepreneur; therefore, what he teaches in his program is proven.

Grant Cardone 10x Income System Verdict

One thing I picked up on as I went through the modules was that there is overlap in what they are designed to help you achieve.

For example, some of the objectives of the 10X Business Development module are similar to those of the 10X Income Accelerator ; they both strive to show you how to jumpstart your business.

This is not a bad thing per se because the most important part is for you to derive value from them.

Note that although there are numerous positive testimonials, you shouldn’t join the program expecting to automatically emulate them.

Results depend on how much you apply yourself; therefore, if you fail to work hard, you will not get good results.

Overall I’m happy to recommend anything Grant puts his name to because I have been a fan of his work, books and YouTube channel for many years now so his 10X Income System definitely gets No BS IM Reviews full approval.

Grant saved his cash for a few years and finally bought his first property at the age of 29 — a single-family residence in Houston, Texas.

After a little while, however, the tenants left, and the property was running a loss.

This taught Grant an extremely valuable lesson: when it comes to real estate, buy big, baby!

Then ate the age of 34, having saved most of the money he earned as a salesman, Grant bought a 38-unit apartment complex in San Diego.

• Grant is extremely thorough in his explanations, he dives deep into sales and explains HOW and WHY things works.
• Grant’s sales methods are extremely effective, but they are also aggressive.   If you’re not comfortable being an aggressive salesperson, this course probably isn’t for you.
• This stuff is not light.  There’s a lot of material that’s given to you at once, and you need to dedicate the time to process it all.  Expect to watch some videos multiple times and definitely take notes.  But once it “clicks,” it’s like waking up outside of the matrix.

Nevertheless, whatever point you’re at, Grant gives you the foundational skills you will need be consistently profitable.

Don’t mistake this as a news article or genuine review, it’s an ad! It’s so obviously written by Cardone University as an ad. The writing style; single sentences, double spaced, excessive bold font and the videos mimic the daily junk make sent out by this organization. It makes me question the validity of this entrie site.

To be honest I don’t know if this is legit or not, so I was researching on the internet and this was the first “review” I came across. I’ll keep looking for honest reviews.

Nearly 40% of working Americans, or about 80 million people, report having a side hustle , according to a survey from Side Hustle Nation, but their median side-hustle income is just $200 per month. Grant Cardone, private equity fund manager, real estate investor, author of “The 10X Rule” and creator of the 10X Profit Planner, has advice for applying the 10X Rule to grow your side gig into a thriving business .

“There is nothing ordinary about The 10X Rule. It is simply what it says: 10 times the thoughts and 10 times the actions of other people… You never do what others do,” Cardone wrote in his book. “You must be willing to do what they won’t do — and even take actions you might deem ‘unreasonable’.”

In terms of how this can be applied to a side hustle, Cardone said in a YouTube video that in essence, the 10x Rule is about scaling your business and/or your ideas to a point where you’ve created a life, not just a business.

“You would create a life without limitations,” he said in the video. “My business gives me my life. I didn’t have that for 20 years.”

• Master yourself : Before you can dominate your sector, your goal, dream or ambition, you have to first dominate your every interest, thought, and consideration. You have to learn how to master yourself first.

In his book, The Greatest Secret in the World, Og Mandino declares,

“The greatest secret in the world is that you only have to be a small, measurable amount better than mediocrity… and you’ve got it made.”

So what would happen if you became a better version of you? Ten times better? How much would you be able to accomplish? How much good could you do in the world?

You have to suspend disbelief, so that you can truly understand what the author is trying to tell you. After having read and digested The 10X Rule, there are some things in the book that I do not agree with. But there are many instances where I changed my views because Grant Cardone provided compelling reasons for me to do so.

According to Grant Cardone, The 10X Rule is the amount of effort and thought that’s needed to get anything done successfully, while adjusting your thinking to dream big dreams. The secret to extraordinary success is to put in 10 times the effort than most people. And he defines success as,

“The degree or measure of attaining some desired object or end.”

And to maintain or build on your success, you have to keep on achieving. You have to have a dogged determination to achieve your goals.

In The 10X Rule byGrant Cardone uses himself as an example to drive home his point about taking massive appropriate action. And he says the same thing over and over again to emphasize his point. So you will understand the importance of what he has to say. You make your own success, and once you have attained success, that does not mean that you have got it made and no longer have to take action. To maintain success, you have to constantly raise the bar higher following the ten times rule.

He encourages people to overexpose themselves, since overexposure is better than obscurity. This means that you have to be everywhere at the same time, so people will see you often.

“You want people to see you so often that they think of you constantly and instantaneously identify your face or name or logo with not just the offering you represent.”

• Be active on social media, send out emails
• Publish a newsletter
• Make phone calls
• Make personal visits to clients and prospective clients
• Use LinkedIn’s publishing platform
• Blog and become a guest blogger
• Accept speaking engagements
• Accept opportunities for interviews.

You do not have to fear overexposure because if you are continually raising the success bar, it’s unlikely that you will become stale.

• Do nothing: You accept whatever life throws your way. You do not take any kind of action to move forward in life. How is this working for you?
• Retreat: You fear success and probably take negative actions because you do not want to be criticized. Is this really working any better than doing nothing?
• Take normal levels of action: You do what everyone does, take normal levels of action, sticking to the status quo. You operate within the established norms. Really, why aren’t you living up to your true potential.

• Underestimating the amount of actions, resources, money and energy it will take to achieve goals and objectives. Adopt the mindset that things take longer to complete, cost more, and take longer, then plan for these things as best as you can.
• Spending too much time competing, instead of dominating the sector. The most successful people focus on creating, and not on competing.
• Underestimating the amount of adversity, roadblocks, you will face, and have to overcome before you can achieve your desired goal. Things will always go wrong, and there are always unforeseen obstacles – expect them, but do not let them stop you from taking massive action.

How to Dominate Your Sector/Industry

• Do what others are not willing to do to create an unfair advantage. The truth is that most people are not willing to amplify their efforts by 10 times. This means that you take immediate, consistent and persistent action at a level that no other person is willing to take or duplicate. This allows you to rise to the top.
• Refuse to stick with the status quo. That is, never play by the agreed upon norms by which others operate. Innovation does not occur by sticking to the status quo because it stifles and inhibits creativity and prevents breakthrough ideas from emerging.

The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone: How to Get through the Noise in the Marketplace

• Amplify your actions 10 times to serve more people.
• Refuse to listen to naysayers. Determine the capabilities, actions and mindset of your competitors. Take consistent and persistent action at a level that your competitors are unwilling to go.

An important point Cardone makes in his book is that successful people,

“talk, think, and approach situations differently from most people – and they definitely think about money differently.”

He identified 32 traits of successful people, many of which are related – here are a 21 of them.

The 10X Rule: 21 Traits of Successful People

• Have a “can do” attitude, and believe that “I can figure it out.”
• Focus on the opportunity. Every problem comes with a related opportunity. And that’s what successful people focus on.
• Are unreasonable, which means they are willing to do what others refuse to do. They will take the massive action that’s necessary to succeed. And they do not operate within the established norms.

• Readily take massive amounts of action to achieve their bold and audacious goals.
• Always say “yes.” Successful people are willing to take on new situations and have new experiences…. to expand the situation.
• Go all the way and see things through to completion. Cardone rightfully says, “Until an action is turned into a success, it is not done.”
• Focus on “now.” Take action now to create the future you want. Never put off what you can do today. Acquire the discipline, muscle memory, and achievements that come from taking massive action.
• Demonstrate courage – act with confidence and courage. “Attack, dominate, and keep your attention on the future, and then continue to repeat your actions – and your courage will grow. Do the things that scare you more often, and they will eventually scare you less.”
• Embrace change. The world is changing rapidly, so successful people are always looking to see how they can apply the changes to improve their work and increase their advantage.
• Determined and take the right approach. They take the time to figure out how to work smarter, and find and use the right approach to achieve success.
• Break traditional ideas. They challenge the status quo, and work outside of the established norms.
• Is goal-oriented. Successful people pay more attention to the goal than to the problem.
• Have a high level of motivation. They are stimulated to take action and find reasons to continually raise the success bar.
• Interested in results. They do not let themselves off the hook until they achieve the results they are after.
• Commit first-figure out later. This reminds me of the Martin Luther King quote, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.”
• Are highly ethical. In this case, the way that Cardone defines ethics is honoring that success is a responsibility. It is about not lying to yourself and honoring the commitments you make to yourself and others. It’s about living up to your full potential. Taking action without achieving results to him is being unethical.
• Interested in the group. You are the sum total of the five people who are closest to you, so surround yourself with great thinkers and doers.
• Dedicated to continuous learning. Make lifelong learning a habit. It is said that the average CEO reads about 60 books a year, while the average American reads only one. CEOs make 319 times the income of the average person, is there a correlation? Seek out new information and never stop learning.
• Are uncomfortable. They are willing to put themselves in unfamiliar situations that are often uncomfortable.
• “Reach up” in relationships. Surround themselves with people who are smarter, brighter and more creative.

Avil Beckford’s Musings after Reading The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone

While reading The 10X Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure by Grant Cardone, I was reminded of the following books and believe they make a great complement to this one.

How I Plan to Use The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone

The result is that I am an underachiever. It sounds harsh, but I have to be honest with myself. In The 10X Rule, Grant Cardone writes,

“People optimistically overestimate how well things will go and then underestimate how much energy and effort it will take just to push things through.”

I have become complacent and settled for a mediocre life, instead of striving, and achieving abundance.

To rectify the situation, I am creating a 30-60-90 Day Plan for 2020. This will include the things that I must accomplish in the first 90 days of the year. But my intent is to focus on only 30 days at a time, so that I do not become overwhelmed. I plan to read Michael Hyatt's Your Best Year Ever. I have owned this book for close to two years. The other thing is that I am working on the PhotoReading course as well as the Future Mapping one.

I have been wanting to create book summaries that are different from what’s offered, but I always have reasons why I haven’t produced them. I created a few but I believe that it would be better to create book study guides that would part of a subscription plan. We are in the subscription economy.

Here is a taste of what I planned to offer, so you see where I am heading with the book summaries. The book study guide will include a shorter summary, in addition to discussion questions. Where possible, I will tie the book to what is happening in the world.

My tactic has changed, I am focusing for now on book summaries that teach you the 10 skills that the World Economic Forum says you need to thrive in 2020 and beyond. I'm creating book discussion guides and I plan to offer them as part of a subscription service.

Reading the books is easy for me, what is more difficult is finding the best rhythm to write the book summaries and discussion guides in a timely manner. I am integrating the goal of writing book summaries into the Performance Accelerator Plan , so that it is less overwhelming, and more achievable. That’s a bold and audacious goal, which I can achieve only by applying the concepts in the book.

Most people do not read one book each month, and I plan to not only read eight books, but write discussion guides for them, am I insane? [Yes, this is insane, and very difficult to do]

I must admit that in a typical year, I read over 150 books from various genres. To achieve this goal, and to make sure that I grow and benefit from the experience, I have to be strategic about which books I choose to read, which will be difficult.

And that’s why the structure of Performance Accelerator Plan is so important. The Performance Accelerator Plan makes me more intentional about connecting the ideas from the books I read, which leads to breakthrough thinking.

10X Growth Con Review: Over-Hyped Sales Fest or Transformational Event?

I’ve been following Grant Cardone for the better part of seven years.

Before he became a household name as a sales trainer…before 10x Growth Con…before his best sellers…before Cardone Capital.

…I was learning from Grant and using his lessons to grow my business and “10x my life”.

And, for the sake of transparency, I am a big fan of his work and message. I’ve read all his books, interviewed him on my podcast (twice), and paid top-dollar for some of his premium products and events.

Considering my pre-existing bias, you can imagine the excitement I felt when I heard that he was hosting one of  the  biggest business events in the history of the industry. The 10X Growth Con.

I bought my tickets, booked my flights, reserved my hotel room, and flew to Las Vegas fully prepared to 10x my life and business.

But what happened next surprised me…

If you’re considering investing in the 10X Growth Conference, this review will reveal what you need to know to decide whether or not Grant’s mega-conference is right for you.

I’m going to reveal it all…the good, bad, and ugly to help you decide,  definitively  whether or not it’s worth your time and money.

Let’s dive in.

What to Expect from the 10X Growth Conference

Before we touch on anything else, it’s important to note that the 10X Growth Con event is  massive.

It’s bigger than anything I’ve ever seen in the business or personal development space…even bigger than Tony Robbins’ events (and he’s been in the seminar game for decades).

Quite frankly, it feels more like a concert or sports event than a business conference. The production quality is second to none and, as I sat through the speeches and sales pitches, I was half expecting Drake or Usher to take the stage and turn the whole place into a music festival…

…And those expectations were almost met when Flo Rida actually did take the stage for a few songs (apparently Snoop Dog made an appearance recently too).

This “concert-esque” feeling came with both benefits and drawbacks.

Because of the sheer size of the event (10,000+ people), the networking opportunities are almost endless. I had the opportunity to rub shoulders with everyone from millionaire eCommerce entrepreneurs and agency owners to Instagram influencers that I personally follow to best-selling authors to tech billionaires like Naveen Jain.

Additionally, Grant’s  insane  budget for the event allowed him to secure some of the  biggest  speakers on the planet from a wide variety of industries.

Everyone from Tai Lopez to Ed Mylett (who I had a conversation with in the elevator) to Daymond John to Steve Harvey to John Maxwell to Jay Abraham has spoken at the event and the speakers at the next 10X Growth Con will likely be even more impressive.

Grant is really pushing the boundaries of what a business event is and how they are experienced.

You’ll get to see speakers and presenters who rarely, if ever, give public keynotes or interviews.

However, these benefits come at a cost.

Namely, an inescapable sense of disconnection from the event.

If you’re not sitting close to the front, it’s easy to feel out of touch with the speaker’s message (a problem exacerbated by the annoying echo that persisted throughout the arena).

There’s little sense of community or connection with the event either. Unlike Unleash the Power Within , Grant doesn’t walk through the aisles and help people solve their problems in real-time. Instead, the speakers take the stage, go through their keynote, and run off. No structure, preamble, no follow up, no real engagement.

It felt more like watching a live TED Talk and less like a personal experience.

Another issue was that Grant doesn’t spend much time talking or presenting himself. Most of his time seems to be wrapped up in actually running the event and his presentations are ill prepared, impromptu and often short.

But these problems would have been minor hiccups in an otherwise spectacular event.

The  real  problem with the 10X Growth Conference (which won’t surprise you if you know anything about Grant Cardone) was the incessant and over the top selling.

Sell or Be Sold: The Big “Problem” with the 10X Growth Con (And How to Benefit from it)

The 10X Growth Con is run by the world’s leading salesman.

So it should come as no surprise that the event was filled  with sales pitch after sales pitch. I mean, not one at lunch then another at dinner, but back to back from the first talk to the last. The only person who didn’t sell was Grant’s wife Elena Cardone when she talked about relationships.

If memory serves accurately, every  single speaker sold something on stage at the end of their presentation. Some of the products sold by the speakers contradicted each other too. Like, webinars don’t work do phone sales, then the next guy pitches here’s my super secret webinar formula, it’s better than phone sales too!

And normally, this isn’t a problem.

If you’ve ever been to a personal development or a business seminar before, you know you’re going  to be sold at some point. It’s how the hosts make their money and fund the often outrageous expenses (speaker fees, event space, audio/video) required to run the event in the first place.

Besides, if the event is good and it’s clear that there’s more value to be had, many people (like myself) actually  want  to be sold into the next level and accelerate our growth even faster.

The problem with 10x Growth Con was that every speech and presentation seemed purposefully designed with sales–and sales alone–in mind.

The lessons and strategies seemed to be intentionally superficial, offering just  enough value to make it feel like you hadn’t wasted your time but failing to deliver anything tactical or of real substance.

In some cases, speakers repurposed their free webinar presentations from their website (that I’d already seen from their ads) and simply regurgitated information that was already available for free online, but live on stage.

They fired off plenty of motivation, stories of their own successes, and challenges overcome, but offered very little in the way of real value or actionable strategies.

And after the first three pitches, I was beginning to lose faith.

The shameless pitch fest made it hard for me to trust the next speaker’s presentations because I felt they were just building up to their sales pitch…teasing us with contrived tactics instead of trying to offer truly life-changing lessons and concrete value that the conference promised.

Considering that the people in attendance had taken time off from work, flown across the country (in some cases the world), and even gone into debt to afford the price of the event, hotel and accommodations (which ranges from $500 to $10,000), the rah-rah antics and cliche advice left a bitter taste in my mouth.

After the first day, I considered just hanging out at the black jack tables and didn’t really feel an urgency to show up on time. I figured I’d have a better shot at making money there. I was jaded at having spent thousands of dollars and taken four days off work just to get sold one “premium” product after another.

But I reconsidered and realized a valuable lesson.

Instead of being upset by the over-the-top sales tactics, I decided to learn from their sales pitches and find the real  lessons hidden inside the speaker’s presentations. 

I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to invest in any of the products or packages so I didn’t even waste my time considering the investment opportunities being offered.

Instead, I took careful notes about how  the speakers sold.  

I watched the way they presented, how they built up to their pitch with engaging stories, the level of energy they brought to different parts of their presentation, the slides they showed, the language used, how they transitioned from their story to promoting a product or service, and more importantly how they crafted their offers.

You can learn 10X more from the way someone sells on stage than you can from their actual product because they are going to implement  every trick, strategy, and tactic they can while live for themselves.

By shifting my frame and deciding to make the most of what was being presented, I actually left the event with several important takeaways that helped me improve my get the most out of the conference.

My 3 Biggest Takeaways from Grant Cardone’s 10x Growth Conference

In addition to my lessons about the nuances of sales and marketing, there were three important lessons or “themes” that were shared by every speaker at the event.

Although these are far from life-changing secrets or strategies, they are invaluable kernels of wisdom that will help guide and direct your efforts and ensure success.

1. There Is No F’ing Secret (Only Diligence and Persistence) 

One of the most interesting things about the event was how different and disparate the stories and strategies of the various speakers were.

There was no one strategy or tactic that was universal.

Some of the speakers swore by things like visualization, journaling, meditation, and specific types of goal setting. Others wrote all of these things off as superfluous “busy work” and focused on taking massive action everyday.

But the  one  ubiquitous theme shared by every speaker at the event was their commitment to diligence and persistence.

Regardless of the how  or  what  that drove their success (e.g. one speaker was a huge fan of SEO and another claimed that it was a waste of time and the slowest way to grow your business and prefers paid media), every presenter had faced adversity and persisted through it.

No matter their background, they were all incredibly hard workers who went from failure to failure to failure until…eventually, they found success.

And to achieve the success you desire in your life, you must never lose sight of this fact.

It’s easy to chase shiny objects. To think that the reason you aren’t yet happy, healthy or wealthy, is that everyone else knows some “secret” or “weird trick” that you don’t. To think, “If only I was in [crypto, real estate, eCommerce, digital marketing, insert over-hyped industry] then  I would be successful.”

But the truth is, there are no fucking secrets. All of these industries are hard and have their own challenges unique to them.

There is no “one way” to wealth , prosperity, and happiness.

There is only hard work, learning and persistence. Committing to mastery. Putting in your time. Picking a mission and sticking to it…no matter how hard it might be.

2. Stop Looking For Instant Success and Play the Long Game 

In our era of instant gratification, it’s easy to believe that if you start a business and aren’t raking in millions, partying on a yacht, and surrounded by beautiful models in 6 months…that you’re doing something wrong and worst, you’re a failure.

But what I found interesting about all of the men and women who spoke at the 10X Growth Con was that they had all–without exception–been in their respective industry for a  long  time (most of them for decades). No one was on stage who got lucky and started a business in the last few years.

The uncomfortable truth that most gurus don’t want to hear is that success takes time.

You won’t become a millionaire overnight and mastery is a game played in decades, not months.

To reach the pinnacles of success and achieve your loftiest ambitions, you will be forced to spend years working your ass off without any results. You’ll fail time and time again and just when you think you’ve made it…you’ll be blindsided by failure and forced to start over.

By accepting this, you will immunize yourself against the temptation to quit when things get hard .

Success takes time. And that time is going to pass one way or another…so use it to your advantage.

Instead of focusing on the here and now, project forward 20-30 years. Don’t ask yourself, “What’s the fastest way to be successful?” ask, “What problem am I willing to devote my time and attention to for the next few decades?”

When you do this, you will develop a healthier relationship with work, realizing that sustainability beats burnout every single time.

You will also prevent yourself from pursuing the wrong goals and jumping into an industry that is misaligned with your desires and personality simply because everyone’s talking about it (cough crypto).

It might not be easy, but embracing the long game is the key to lifelong success.

3. Embrace Abundance 

I’m going to let you in on a little secret…

There is  no  shortage of money on planet earth.

There is more money, more opportunity, and more abundance today than there’s ever been in human history.

The key is to figure out, as Grant Cardone likes to say, “Who’s got my money?”

When you realize all the endless opportunities around you, it’s easier to make the right decision. Instead of jumping into real estate because you don’t believe you can make money as a writer, you’ll realize that you can  make a full time living doing what you love…you simply have to find the people who are willing to pay you for it.

I love seeing a young kid make a ton of money doing something really unique that I didn’t think of. Instead of hating on the kid it makes me think damn, there’s so many ways to make money good for him!

We live in an era of unprecedented abundance.

But you can only take advantage of this abundance by embracing it. By realizing that the opportunities are out there if you’re willing to find them. And by refusing to settle for anything less than what you truly want.

Who Should Attend 10X Growth Con?

If you’re looking for motivation, want to surround yourself with like-minded people, and expose yourself to the world of sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship…The 10X Growth Con will give you that.

The networking is available every day and the opportunities to grow your business, find new clients and make 6-figure connections will make the event well worth the price of admission, if you put in the effort that is.

And for those of you who are personal/business development “newbies”, you’ll find plenty of actionable advice and strategies and have plenty of big takeaways that will light a fire under your butt and help you grow your business.

Who Should NOT Attend 10X Growth Con?

If you’re well-versed in the world of business and personal development or looking for specific tactics to solve a big problem in your life or business, the 10X Growth Con may be a complete waste of your time and money.

You aren’t going to find any life-changing strategies or “secret” wisdom you can’t find with a perfunctory Google or YouTube search, and the endless sales pitches will likely leave you feeling drained, jaded, and utterly pissed off.

Some of the speakers have better podcast episodes on iTunes than they did actual live presentations. This is because on the podcast they focused on value delivery, at the event they focused on delivering a talk that would yield greater sales.

My two cents: Save your money and invest in a premium course or coaching program to get exactly what you need with laser focus to move forward.

My Final Review of Grant Cardone’s 10X Growth Con

Despite the heavy (bordering on unbearable) sales pitches, I plan to return to the 10X Growth Conference in the next year or two.

But not for the reason that most people go…

I’m not interested in the surface layer lessons or rah-rah tactics the speakers used to sell their latest product or “private” mastermind.

But there’s something undeniably powerful about being in a room surrounded by thousands of hungry entrepreneurs from such a diverse breadth of backgrounds, industries and skillsets from around the world.

As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to feel alone in the journey. And the networking lunches, dinners, and after-parties provide invaluable networking opportunities you can’t get anywhere else.

If you run your own business, it’s easy to find new clients at the event (and have a blast while doing it). One guy sitting next to me actually became a client in one of my coaching programs. And, even if you don’t show up to the event itself, simply hanging out in the bars, clubs, and lounges in the area will open up dozens of opportunities that make the trip worthwhile.

Unlike a Tony Robbins event where you spend 12 hours a day in one room, you can feel free to pop in and out of the event at your leisure and pick and choose which speakers you want to see like a movie showtime schedule.

If you treat it more like a mini-vacation and make plans to enjoy your stay in the “City of Sin”, watching shows at night, enjoying the food and lounges then you’ll have a blast and walk away with countless connections, possible new clients, and life-changing conversations with successful attendees.

Sure, you should take notes, create action plans, and actually  implement  the things you learn.

But you can rest easy knowing that, if you meet someone interesting and decide to skip one of the speaker’s presentations to grab drinks and discuss your businesses, 99% of the time you won’t be missing anything of note.

There’s a LOT of room for growth and improvement at the 10X Growth Con and you better believe Grant Cardone put’s on a good show that will get you motivated, but if you come with the right expectations and know how to use the event to its full advantage, it can and will be worth your time and money.

No less than 50 business-savvy high school students from Tumaini DC attended, 10 of which had the opportunity to pitch their businesses.

When presenting in front of the all-star panel of judges, every go-getting student brought their A-game. Grant and Elena Cardone, COO Sheri Hamilton, President Jarrod Glandt, and Coach Stormy Wellington thoroughly evaluated the pitches.

Who Are the Winners of the Latest 10X Pitch Off for Young Entrepreneurs?

With such powerful presentations, selecting the winners was a challenge in and of itself.

But after careful deliberation, the 10X judges announced the 10X Pitch Off winners of the day:

Best Presenter : RuQuan Brown for Victory Village , a parent-teacher consulting business

3rd Place : Brooke Weaver for Jazzicure Nailz , a mobile nail service

2nd Place : Sarah Rice for Beeware , a sustainable clothing brand
